What a lovely little coffee shop. Stopped with a group of friends for a brew and the service and quality of the food/coffee was excellent. Staff were very cheery and attentive especially the young lady I think was called Caitlin who served us. Will definitely be back for another brew soon.

Stopped at this cafe for brunch. Quite busy. Plenty seated with few sofas. Sadly food on display looked dried up and past sell by. Ordered bacon roll for my husband and was shocked that she used 1 from display. I have cinnamon swirl which looked great, they offered to heat it and over did it big time, it fell to bits beyond recognition. No apology and didn’t appear too bothered. This place has potential but needs Management and some efficiency but both appear to be lacking. Noticed everyone else just appeared to have hot drinks. Says it all really.

Ground offer a brilliant local coffee experience which is super important to support and they are excellent in their quality of service, coffee and food. We regularly visit their coffee shops, but this is our first time in Bushmills, and it was a great experience all round. We highly recommend the croque monsieur as a pretty authentic Irish take on the French classic.

There’s a good choice of rest / coffee spots in Bushmills and Ground used to be our favourite but we stopped going because it started to feel dirty and sticky. It’s closed over winter and they must have taken time to properly sort it because it’s as clean as it used to be. Same sort of product as the other ground shops so is decent. The cinnamon danish and lemon drizzle is particularly good. For good coffee, they’re the only local spot that does v60, aero press and Cheney and usually have a good bean or two to choose from. Though on the downside, these take a decent barista who likes coffee to use so can be hit and miss as this ground is primarily staffed by students.

The outside seating is lovely in the sunny weather. It's a nice weekend cafe and was busy when we called in. Coffee is very good

Stopped off here for a quick cuppa .... The place has a lovely feel about it and is spacious and airy. Service was pretty good. Coffee was nice, the Nutella cake was very dry though.... They did have a good choice of gluten free items - not that I need it,but other readers might find that helpful....

If you are stopping for a coffee in Bushmills before or after having a look at Giant's causeway, then Ground Espresso bar is a great place. Good coffee, friendly staff and good food!

Adjacent to the Cenotaph, set behind the clock tower. Nearly missed it when driving by. Greeted by very polite staff who were quite happy to engage in conversation whilst waiting for my order. Decided to eat outside which doesn't have the best of tables but we did have our Pup with us. Food was brought out to us with a cheerful smile and politeness and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely Cappuccino and Chicken Panini. To be honest, this was the Best Panini I have tasted in Northern Ireland. Definitely recommended for Breakfast/Lunch.

Popped in to buy a flat white while staying in Bushmills. Mid afternoon on a wet Monday, and it was largely empty. However there was a good choice of cakes and sandwiches for sale. Service was quick and the coffee was great. Price was compatible to other chains like Caffè Nero, Starbucks etc.

We have always been fans of Ground and frequent the various branches on the north coast and closer to home however a recent trip to Bushmills was very disappointing. We chose Lemon Drizzle Cake and after discussion with her manager the staff member informed us that the cake had been incorrectly cut and the pieces were too large so she she would have to cut a piece off each one!!! I was speechless. The experience went steadily downhill after that and the attitude and poor customer service have really put us off visiting again.

Popped in with my 2 young daughters and had been to Ground Coleraine the day before. Great traybakes, high-quality flat white and lots of room to chill. Free wifi. Much roomier than Coleraine store but lacking the 'people-watching row of bar stools. Staff friendly enough but not as chatty as Coleraine store. Worth a revisit.

We stopped here after visiting the Giant's Causeway to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and a wee snack. It is in the town closest to Giant's Causeway and has better coffee and tea than you would find at the Causeway Museum. It is also probably cheaper. This shop is spacious and definitely a less crowded place to relax after hiking the Giant's Causeway. They also serve proper "iced coffee" which is sometimes hard to find around here.

We came here after being turned away from the Copper Kettle. Turned out to be a good choice. Pleasant staff and reasonably priced. Nice location just looking out beside the clock tower. Good assortment of buns, cakes and hot food.

We ate here because the group we were with wanted the free wifi. The atmosphere was quite hip and trendy. The food selection was not great. I had a chicken sandwich from the fridge and it was doughy and tasted old. Neither my husband or I could finish it. The best thing about it was the corn chips they put on the side. My husband didn't think much of his sausage roll either. The salted caramel brownie milkshake was delicious, although it did not taste any different to a regular caramel milkshake. The prices weren't too bad, I think the two of us bought lunch for about 15 pounds. A bit disappointing overall.

Called here on 5 August at 1.pm. My wife asked for a Panini as advertised on the board to be told they didn't have any. She asked if the Lemon Drizzle cake was fresh and eastold it was baked yesterday. We had Bacon Breakfast rolls and carrot cake which were very nice. We went to sit outside but the tables were full of dirty dishes. We went back in to eat and noticed we had eaten our food and drunk our coffee before any of the staff cleared the tables. Doubt we will be back.

Have been to this coffee bar a number of times over the past 2 weeks. The coffee is always lovely and they make to your particular order. Lots of sweet treats to tuck into and cold shakes and drinks for kids. Free wifi which is very useful as not all areas around the North Coast have 3G. Staff very friendly and coffee shop always busy.

Great place with a lot of different options for sweet and savory treats. I had a hot chocolate with cream that was delicious as well. Perfect on a cold/rainy day.

Popular coffee stop for cyclists in the North Coast area, ourselves included. Great coffee. Friendly staff. Nice layout.Just check opening hours before heading down as they usually close over the winter months, then from Easter onwards open weekends until June or so when they'll open all week for the summer months (something like that but don't quote me!)

Free WiFi a big asset to this coffee shop as this is not a great area for phone signal ..First big put off !! Flies hovering round tray bakes etc , no fly guards on any of the food . Big turn off . Ordered Latte and and a well covered scone and at £4.60 thought it was pricey enough. The place was really comfortable and had a nice atmosphere and Staff were really friendly ..

We went to the Bangor branch of the Ground espresso bars. I loved the modern, sleek decor of the coffee shop and it created that Americcan coffee shop feel.I ordered a 'flat white' and my wife had a 'latte' and our friend had a cappucino. We also had food with my wife and I having 'croque mosnieur' and our friend having a sausage roll. The croque was really tasty and was just what I needed. The coffee was really good. You can order different types of coffee and different methods of filtering and pressing the coffee. For the want of a better phrase, it is the hipsters choice in coffee shops.I then went and ordered some tray bakes and this is when my world was well and truly rocked. The caramel brownie is simply one of the greatest things that I have ever tasted. Absolutely melt in the mouth brownie with caramel strewn throughout. The 'fifteen' was also good and I had good reports about the honeycomb square.Really enjoyed this visit and will definitely be back next time I am in N.I.

A fairly typical modern coffee shop. The big plus is the free wifi as coverage in Bushmills on the phone was fairly poor.

Could be a trendy wi-fi friendly coffee joint, just don't order a snack!!!My vegetable soup was served STONE COLD . Unfortunately this was such a shock on a cold day , I spat it on the floor...I couldn't help it , honestI had to wait 10 mins for it to be heated, by which time my wife had finished her toasted sandwich. A bacon sandwich will be micro-waved so definitely eat elsewhere!!!!!! ( especially if you're a vegetarian!!!!!!!!!!)The place also had no heat on with the temp 9 degrees outside. Freezing. Top Tip.... The Copper Kettle across the road may not be as minimalistically trendy, but you'll be well- fed , and WARM!!!!

When we first arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us to our table without delay. Having looked at the menu and chosen our meal, as if by magic another member of staff appeared and took our order. The food arrived promptly and we all enjoyed what we had chosen. In summary, the restaurant is a very pleasant place to eat, but I would like a little more custard with the apple pie.

Met friends for lunch today. Thus place hasn't changed in years - in a good way. Cosy, great service and quality comfort food. I had the best Chicken Maryland I've ever had, with great quality chicken, gammon and a nice touch with a wedge of beautifully charred fresh Pineapple. Other dishes included chickennwithbpepper sauce and a roast beef dinner. Home made cheesecake and jam sponge with custard followed for two of us. Fabulous meal and looking forward to returning soon.

Service wasn't great. It was a slow day at the airport and only a couple at the counter. Stood for a while and no one came near us. Then a guy with a yellow hi viz jacket eventually asked us what we wanted. Ordered 2 teas. All of a sudden he just left. Went out of the restaurant altogether leaving us baffled. The a young lady who was in the middle of serving someone else asked if we were being served. We said no and she said she'd be with us in a minute. Eventually got served. Wouldn't like to see it if it was busy. Plus side, the tea was hot.

Complained to the staff they just shrugged there shoulders very very disappointed!
