Food is very average. Cleanliness is also an issue, service is not there. There are better options in green street go elsewhere

Very shocking/terrible experience.Chicken biryani rice was dry and chicken was over cooked, Taste was terrible.Just a waste of money

We took the mix grill and a burger to take away, it was total rubbish specially the chicken was old, cold and smelly ! Money wasted never gonna go back 💯

Me and my mum had lunch here. Mum found a hair in her chicken jalfrezi. I pointed it out to the waiter who didn’t say anything but took it away. After waiting for a few mins. I decided to ask to speak to the manager. Explained what happened. She was rude and said we’re making you another one. I explained we didn’t want another one as we’re leaving now, but I would like a refund. The manager rolled her eyes and 2 mins later came back with a £10 note. Said “here you go, it was £8 (something) but I rounded it to £10” I took it and thanked her for understanding she just replied with bye and we left. I have now missed a day at work because I’ve been up all night vomiting. Absolutely disgusting.

Had a terrible experience, burger was cold, was told i will get it in 2min but came after 20min. Meat was soo rubbish and cold. Each meal order came one by one with 15min gap. Customer service is poor, they try ignore you if you trying to call and complain. No apologies at all, its as though they dont care for the customer. Table next to been waiting for 30min when they was told 10-15min.

I went with my family for a meal and the waitress and manager were arrogant, uneducated and the Resturant was very unhygienic, they started an argument with us because I said the restaurant wasn’t clean. I recommend that people do not go to this restaurant at all.

This place is an absolute disgrace. Food is okish, (a bit too salty) have tasted worse however the service is appalling. We had 1 waiter which has really put us of this restaurant. She was rude and arrogant. Hygiene is not the best, had other customers complaining about hair in the food. It's a no go for me....

I went with my family for dinner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! The food wasn’t hot, staff were very obnoxious and had ferocious language. Lady at the till had gotten our order wrong, TWICE. And when she was confronted, she was very rude. Another waitress came to sort out our order and when our actual food came, a chicken dish, reeked with the smell of raw fish and was very cold. For your sake, DO NOT COME HERE!!

This restaurant has the best food we come from Walthamstow on our days off as there is no restaurants like this in our area! Friendly staff and excellent food. Every dish I’ve had had been exceptional.

Do not go here with family, had the embarrassment of them forgetting one persons food and when asked where it was nobody knew. After asking got the food after everyone had nearly finished. Eating out every week and not being from the area I expected them being in a prime location to offer a better service and quality of food. Shame as they have great potential. I will never step foot inside here again dreadful place. Staff also need to smile and wear masks!

Brought some food from this restaurant and the lady short changed me, had to argue with her for 10mins just to get the right change back! Gave her a £20 and she tried to tell me I only gave £10. If I don’t check - the food would’ve cost me double the amount! Disappointed with the level of service and attitude.

Went here after a long day of shopping. It wasn't very busy,we got shown to our table by a friendly waitress. We ordered our food and it all came together. We ordered classic burger meal,Mexican burger meal,chicken curry with nan,chicken wrap with fries & drinks. The burgers were tasty & made according to the order as requested no chees & mayo. The wrap was a bit disappointed as the chicken was too dry and rubbery. It had no salad or sauce, the chicken curry was good but the nan was too crispy. The food was not up to my expectation.

Food taste good ....big portions of delicious food, Grilled Salmon highly recommended... great in summer days ..... but in winter bit cold inside ... I believe no great heating system inside the restaurant.

Visited after had a tiring day and being extremely hungry. The food arrived pretty quickly, we ordered lamb curry nan, lamb biriyani. None of the items had any flavour or authenticity. I never had this so called extremely dry biriyani where few pieces of again dry pieces of meat been thrown into amongst some rices. Lamb curry was just bland no flavour, plain nan was possibly the better item as it was made after being ordered. Finally the prices didn't do the justice. The waiters and interior were fine but main part of a restaurant (foods) didn't meet my expectations at all.

We had a great time at Grill Corner on the first day we arrived to London. It is very close to our family members house. The food is very good and we recommend to go there with a family. We even brough two disable persons with wheelchairs. If you have such special occation, All the dishes are very delicious for sure and we even went back there again before we left London. I came all the way from Canary Wharf to eat here today 😇 was worth the journey!! 10/10 👌

Should have known not to go back!We were probably only the third table there for lunch as it had just opened for the day. All we ordered: portion of wings, chips,1 garlic naan and a portion of chicken sheek kebabs as we just wanted a quick light lunch. This took 45 mins to arrive I kid you not. The other tables there were literally only a few other people inside also kept complaining and asking where their food was. Staff kept making excuses like "it's being made fresh, not just sitting there, only a few minutes more.." etc and then running off looking nervous. But when we came in they kept hassling us to order? Strange. The food once again completely, completely average to say the least. Burnt fries, watered down ketchup. Poor, poor salad. The naan was ok but that is basic lmfao. I have no idea why other family members love this place. It gets incredibly busy at the weekends too - their location kills it. Prime location on Green St. A poor establishment, avoid if you can. Better places around. Hardly a grill restaurant either, it's basically a typical Asian kebabish type venue.

In comparison to other restaurants I’ve been to this one has the worst standards. From the start there’s no greetings & no warm welcome. It took them forever to give the menu followed by taking the orders. Not much option for children. Food came warm, mater paneer was out of date and did not smell fresh. Lamb curry was cooked by an amateur and very bland. The lamb biryani was stale, dry, no fragrance and the rice was like plastic.The drinks were horrible, McDonald’s milkshakes are thick and smooth, this restaurants milkshakes are milky and taste of milk. Go to Turkish restaurants for high quality ayran, their lassi was watery, warm and smelt of vomit! The mojito was lemonade with some mint leaves (my daughter could make one better than this).Waiter that served didn’t bother coming back to check if everything was ok. Poor fellow seemed as if he was responsible serving every customer in there, whilst the others wondered about. The so called boss of the restaurant would not want to accept any complaint or criticism, kept saying I should’ve put my hands up if I needed help, like as if I’m in school!I would strongly not recommend this restaurant.

Ordered lunch and then decided on getting a takeaway for the rest of the family, Got home (30 miles away) to find that some items missing(notably 5 lamb chops) so phoned them up, didn't expect a lot but an acknowledgement of the error would have been nice as mistakes do happen, its how they are dealt with problems that matters. Was hung up on 4 times by people working there, finally spoke with someone, left my details but no contact with management to resolve the issue, not interested in customer service or resolving problems, very poor on this occasion and Green St has plenty of other dining options, so I will avoid, as should you

It was packed in here when we came at around 6pm but we were seen to quickly. We ordered a sharing platter and Biryani's and I also had a mojito which was refreshing due to the fresh mint leaves. Everything was hot, delicious and cooked perfectly.

Nice looking restaurant, very clean. 5 star hygiene. Service was very fast and staff were friendly, well some of them. Being located in the heart green st, it is very busy and if your looking for a place to have a good chat or catch up this isn't the place. It is crazy busy! Overall food was good, with a good amount of varieties. However it is quite over priced

I haven been to this place several time and generally enjoyed the food. I prefer KO grill but as it was raining and I was with my mum decided to go there. We order the mix grill - generally that is a safe bet. However when I was eating the food seemed ok until I started eating the chicken wings. I am not sure if they under cooked or contaminated. I had 2 pieces and my had 1 pieces after which we decided not to eat the rest of the chicken wings. Within 2 hours everything start coming out. Luckily for my mum recovered after 2 days. However as I had bit more I have suffered for 3 weeks now. I have been to GP and they informed me it was either contaminated food or under cook and generally take some time even with anti-biotic. I must say I never go there again

went for lunch and although busy had an exceptional Biryani and lamb spinach curry. Food was served propmtly and piping hot....busy place , Will pop in again.

Went with family on a Sunday lunchtime. Was busy but no excuse for giving a luke warm mixed grill. The chops were chewy and needed more cooking. A few of them had blood in the joints. The sheek kebabs were at room temperature and not hot at all. They had not been cooked properly which is unacceptable. The biriyani was good and the the grilled chicken was tender and well cooked and the tikka curry and chips and other sides were good also. However, the mixed grill was poor. I spoke with the manager and filled in a review card but there was no indication that he wanted to find out why this had hapenned.

I went to this restuarant with family last night. I noticed it was busy with middle age and old age people. I went inside and we where seated quickly. We ordered food for 5 people. Food came within 20 minutes. I noticed the food was standard and nothing special. The portion was small. The peri peri chicken we ordered was medium spice hot. But everything they gave was lemon spice. We didnt want to waste the food so we had it. No taste. No flavour. They are overpriced based on no quality at all.

Busy restaurant on Sunday , very cramped & people packed in to maximise space but it restricts access . Customers & waiters continuously bumping into our seats. So disappointed with the quality of food, service & cleanliness. Food on the floor, broken plastic biro pen, napkins & floor had tape on it! Over priced for the quality of food, service & decor. Veg options limited & not great. The mixed grill was floating on a puddle oil. Some of the meat pieces were luke warm, others pieces were hot. One dish , lamb curry , was ordered but never came to the table. We asked 3 waiters / waitresses & even the manager but communication was frustrating. Did they understand us? Obviously not as we finished the meal without the dish. We asked for the lamb curry to be packed as takeaway. When the bill came we were charged twice for the lamb curry. When I queried it with the waiter , he didn’t understand English & I had to go to the till to explain. Bill was corrected but we will not be returning. No apology offered at any point.

My Wife and I wanted a really authentic Curry so the closest place to us is the Well known Green Street. Full of Authentic Indian Cafes and Restaurants.. We decided to try the Grill Corner . It was disastrous from the moment we walked in .. we were left at the table for 15 minutes, the waiter when he did attend the table, started to take our order,.. then started to look around and got involved in TWO other conversations while taking our order.. We ordered Shish Kebab and Chicken Curry.. The Kebabs were not too bad.. but the Curry was awful. flavourless. .. !.. My Wife complained and there was no interest from the waiter, My wife in frustration said we wont becoming back here to which he responded.. That's your choice ..!

My kids love the food at this place but as it's a bit expensive here so cannot go everytime, only on special occasions.

Fuimos allí el domingo por la noche todo el cordero biryani ordenados pechuga de pollo y patatas fritas. No estaba muy lleno y teníamos la opción de donde nos queríamos sentar. El personal era muy educado y respetuoso y no me puedo quejar. Muy trabajador y siempre aclarando. Nuestra comida llegó a los 15 minutos y tengo que decir que todo estaba caliente y delicadamente condimentadas. Parte biryani podría haber sido más por el precio y menos huesos, pero en general no está mal por £20.

Estado en Green Street, así que muchas veces, y nunca he sido decepcionado. Esta vez probamos otro restaurante grill de lo que suelen comer en (Kebabish). Esta es la peor experiencia que he tenido.

I went this restaurant with my family on New-Years day 2018. When we asked for a table for five, the waiter at the door kept saying ' cash only' . When I said ok then he said this way. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so gloomy, not a single person smiled. We ordered the food and waited for the starter. It never arrived. The food eventually turned up all at the same time. When I asked the lady who was throwing the dishes on our table that we wanted to have the starter first. She went to a lady who is either the owner or the manageress. Instead of saying sorry- she showed full attitude and told us she can take our main course back if we want to eat the starter first. I asked her to take the starter back instead. She did not seem happy at all and it seems that the word sorry does not exists in her dictionary let alone the old saying that the customer is always right.

We went to this place yesterday evening only to come back with severe stomach upset. The customer service is appalling the staff were very unhelpful and don't pay attention other than bring the food. The mixed grill that we ordered was unreasonably spicy and there is no mention of this on the menu and is not good for people who have sensitivity to spicy food, the chicken curry was off like it was mixed with old and new tasted absolutely terrible and gone off. When asked for the bill the waitress said card machine does not work and we need to go to the till and walked off. We didn't have enough cash with great difficulty had to get the manager to come over who was extremely unpleasant to speak to and didn't understand the importance of informing customers that the card machine doesnt work and said we should have checked the sign on the door which was impossible as there were people standing there whilst we were going in and told us to go to a cash point up the road and didn't think to apologise or even offer a discount. Overal the food was awful and needs inspecting; staff need training the restaurant is unhygienic don't think we will go back.

La parrillada es normalmente el más decente pero aún bastante picante para mi gusto. Sin embargo, el personal femenino son muy ignorante y no prestan atención a sus clientes, al punto que tuve que físicamente salir de mi asiento y llamar a alguien para proporcionar un poco de agua. Si de verdad quieres clientes círculo alrededor de y chase camareros porque creo acerca de la instalación de auto servicio máquinas de agua bebida porque les guarde su imagen de servicio al cliente. Y por último no estaba contento sobre el hecho de que mi familia y yo son enfermos después de esta visita, más probabilidades de ser mala comida.

Me he alojado aquí dos veces. A pesar de las malas críticas que parece ser bastante concurrida. La primera vez, pedí ensalada mediterránea y pescados tikka, zumo de naranja recién exprimido y té masala.

Always a pleasure to dine here again. Came with the family had the mix grill and biryani. As an open kitchen could tell mix grill was fresh and toilets were clean and kept to good standard. Staff were attentive too.

Una visita a la parrilla de la esquina es imprescindible en un viaje a Green Street. La parrilla es la mejor. En una ocasión probamos otros platos que rápidamente me arrepentí, desde entonces hemos atrapado a pedir una parrillada mixta con patatas fritas y una jarra de lassi. Esas son sus especialidades tan sólo lo recomendaría para juzgar a los otros.

Llevé a los niños para un almuerzo mientras visitaba la calle verde. Este lugar estaba lleno y mi lugar favorito de antaño Mobeens normal ha cambiado de dueño y es horrible. Así, este lugar ofrece parrilla así que pensamos probarlo. A la hora del almuerzo muy concurrida pero nos dieron una mesa. Nos sentamos y pedimos comida - camarero era no muy atrayente. Demasiado ocupados buscando alrededor. pero finalmente la orden tomada. Nos dieron la Mixed Grill, filete de pollo, pollo peri peri (limón y hierbas) y un par de batidos de vainilla.

Fuimos el día de Navidad estaba abierto! Fui con un amigo y mi mujer y pedimos parrillada mixta, Dahi Puri, y Pollo Biryani. Disfrutamos de la comida, ya que fue satisfactorio, sabrosa y de precio razonable. El servicio era bueno los aseos no estaban al nivel y necesidades de algunos de limpieza. En general, la decoración del restaurante era buena y brillante, un poco demasiado brillante para mi gusto. El bar es de tamaño decente y tienen una cocina abierta, así que se puede ver cuando la comida está viniendo;-) Hay plazas de aparcamiento alrededor del restaurante, que es gratis después de las 18:30, pero por favor antes de viajar. La ubicación del restaurante es bastante buena, ya que está en Green Street, que es famoso por el Sudeste Asiático (India/Bangladesh/pakistaníes) de los centros de compras y restaurantes. La estación más cercana es Upton Park - District Line

I was been this restaurent with my wife and son around 9pm. When we enter one of supervisor of the restaurent said no card payment allow for tonight. I said ok. We order food the waiter just take the order nothing more. I have seen one table paying by card. Food come and the taste is like very ordinarry taste and the side dish tarka dall was really tasteless like old. I called waiter and told about this the waiter replied 'our food is fresh we cooked everyday". He looks bore to speak with us. Then my wife also said about this dall. He should try this dall. But he didn't. We ask for bill and card machine another waiter said we have problem with card machine tonight. I replied our neibour table paid by card i have seen. Then he bring.

Food has improved drastically since my last visit. There were about 30 of us but the waiter couldn't figure out the bill separately even though he was warned beforehand.

When it first opened I really enjoyed my food specially the steak. But now just seems like everything tastes like curry and no flavour although the mixed grill is worth having.

Good, cheap lunch with the family. Perfect for Haloodies and the grilled chicken is nice and spicy! Love the spicy rice with a taste of lime pickle! 4 people for lunch = £30 - happy dayz!!!!

Just popped in with my wife for a meal for two. Ordered chicken tikka, fries and 2 drinks as starters. Wasn't even a busy period (4pm Thursday). Order came and my wife realised there was rice stuck to some of the chicken tikka pieces...upon closer look we realised it may have been taken off another order. Called the staff member to come and confirm this, no confirmation/acknowledgement/apology. Went over to the till to pay for the 2 drinks and fries. We easily had every right to walk out without paying...instead the rude lady behind the counter gave a snobbish reply and actually expected us to pay for the whole meal or something!Worst experience I have ever had in this restaurant, sad to say but standards have really dropped since first opening and wel...its just another less than average place to eat now...AVOID!

Food was good, no doubt. Staff was okay! But the only thing i didn't like that staff was trying to avoid the eye contact if we need something. One waiter came to get the order, second one brought food than later when we wanted to order more we said excuse me 3-4 times to different waiters. But no one responded until I would stand and asked for it. There should be having a common sense or some set of rules saying to stick with 2-3 tables and serving the customers rather than whole restaurants. No welcoming or good byes there, plates wasn't clean enough, poor customer service. Only thing the food was good.

Ordered a mixed grill platter. Did not like the food at all. Very tasteless, hard h chewy. Would not be going again.

Opted to dine here again after a great experience before. Nevertheless it was overall great again. Noticed the lamb chops were served on a sizzler... was much more tastier especially with the fried onions. Chicken burger was good too. I have been here many times as the food is OK despite the less than friendly staff. I went today with my cousin and ordered a mixed grill and from previous visits (to this and many other restaurants) this should be accompanied by a salad. When I asked the waitress, she was dismissive and said they don't give salads and I have to buy one separately. I then asked for the manager and was told that there is no manager which annoyed me even more. I demanded to see someone in charge and eventually an arrogant young lady came to the table to basically tell me the same thing and that it is now their policy not to provide salads. I was extremely shocked and disappointed and told her this is the very last time they will have my custom.

Having lived in the East London area for five years I tried many different eateries. For good Punjabi style food this is a very good place - lamb karahi, biryani and mix grill are good.

Untidy restaurant, bad service. Staff looks uninterested, make no eye contact, intimidating when you ask questions about food. Even the fries were unwell prepared, we saw other clients also sending food back to the kitchen. Unclean water jug. I left with the feeling that I had thrown my money away. Bad service, bad food.

Been to this restaurant previously and it wasn't great back then but decided to give it ago again after a relative said its got better! First I noticed the plates laid out on the table were still dirty with dried leftovers, So I asked for clean plates, waiter got upset. Requested iced water, he didn't understand! We ordered the No.2 mix grill platter, lamb curry, childrens fish finger meals and a couple of tandoori roti. The food did not arrive at the same time. We got the kids food which was over cooked fries and fish which was almost solid. Then the grill platter arrived, 10mins later followed by the curry after another 5mins or so the tandoori rotis' eventually arrived. By this stage I was fuming as everything was cold and half the tandoori roti's were burnt. I made eye contact with the middle eastern looking waitress and asked for the burnt ones to be replaced. She just stood there saying do I want extra rotis' to which I replied again 'no please replace the burnt ones'. The lamb chops had a funny smell and were in fact mutton chops and so tough that my wife and I could not actually eat them. The hot chicken wings seemed like they were first boiled and then slightly grilled no seasoning or spice. The lamb curry turned up on the bone with lots little bone fragments. If we'd known we would not have ordered this dish. Just for the sake of it I asked one the waiters if he knew that it was mutton they were serving and not lamb, his reply he doesn't eat the food so i asked he just smiled! Before we finished they started cleaning our table not that we were able to eat much. The icing on the cake was them sending another lot of dinners to our table before we had paid or were finished! AVOID.

Avoid this place. Was in Green Street with my family to do some Eid shopping and ended up in this place since the location was ideal i.e. next to the main car park. Stood in the queue awaiting to be guided to a table but weren't even approached for over 10 minutes. When we finally got a table (after 35 mins) it took over 15 mins for someone to come and take our order and that was only after we asked to be served. It took another 45 mins to receive the food and only after I asked to speak to the person in charge. Some woman called Halley (or Hell itself) came over and with such attitude complaining in a croaky voice that couldn't we see they were busy and that we would be served in due course.When we finally got the food the Steaks were very dry and had a funny smell to them so we did not eat them. All the rest of the food didn't look too good either. I was far too scared to complain again just in case the woman from hell (or Halley as the servers called her) came over again. We decided to eat what we could and ended up only having a snack leaving the majority of the food and paying extortionate prices too. Over 2 hours of my life wasted and with the worst experience in a restaurant ever. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the location. All else is just a front for service with an attitude, bad and uncooked food as well as being over priced.

I have visited few other places where i paid the same amount of money but food was different as a speciality of the restaurant, but here food was very normal and would not say enough according to the price, also orange juice was £1.75, which was normal value orange juice from tesco, and the size of the glass was very small, you need two sips to finish the glass :(Food quality was okay, specially i loved the steak sauce. For special occasion i would not recommend.

This place is not worth it especially with so many fantastic grill and steak places out there. We decided to try out a new place and unfortunately landed here. The staff were totally disinterested on arrival and waved us to sit anywhere. The guy who took our order looked like he was just asked to do this job last minute! We order a peri peri chicken and grilled salmon. The chicken was not seasoned at all and they provided us with a salad that generally goes with biryani and curries. The salmon was fully burned from the bottom and the vegetables were from an Iceland frozen packet! When we were leaving another waiter came around and said he will charge us an extra pound as our order was below £20?? Strange! This was a bad experience never to go again and wouldn't recommend! If you are desperate in that area even then there are other smaller places that serve good quality tasteful food.

Dear oh dear. Why do so many restaurants let themselves down with shoddy service when their food is really nice. This place is another one I can add to a growing list of places where the service has been, well, rubbish. Lets start shall we. From being seated to getting food on our table, 50 minutes. Ridiculous. But absolutely no faulting the food except for the fried fish which was overcooked and tough to chew. The cause of this delay was that a wait staff had not processed our order. Also, I noticed that wait staff did not wash their hands after cleaning tables with cleaning products. A big no no, which i reported. To no avail probably. As we did like the food I have to say that I could forgive the lateness of the food being served. Although i won't be going again sadly.

On my first visit to Green Street, this place deceived me as it was on the corner in front of the main pay and display car park and looked busy. I assumed it would be quality. How wrong I was. Put simply the food is rubbish. The waitress recommended the lamb seekh kebabs vs the chicken ones and they were dry, overspiced and over salted. The lamb chops were bland and one of them was raw. The roti was pathetic. My wife's salad was a bland joke as well. A complete waste of £20.

Based on the popular Asian clothes shopping street of Green Street in Newham, this place is set on a great location on the corner and it makes great use of this with its huge windows which allow passers by to have a look inside.I have been one of these passers by a number of times, and on this instance I decided to venture inside for lunch whilst my partner opted for the very popular vegetarian across the road; I wish I had joined her.I entered and waited to be seated, and the chap working there certainly took his time. After waiting again fir what seemed too long I eventually ordered and waited for it to arrive. The food was disappointing along with everything else about this place, it lacked taste, spice and heat. However the worst thing about this visit was the awful religious music that was playing so loudly. Actually it wasnt music, it was a kind of wallowing and more suited to a funeral than a restaurant.This place always seems busy, but I didnt find out why on this visit.

Its always a pleasure to visit here.Opted for a mix grill which was fresh and off the grill. Curries were delicious and noticed new curries were introduced to the menu. Burgers were just great.. something you'll find in central London!! Definitely recommend the Mexicano burger!Mocktails were lovely... my fav was the summer passion.Staff were friendly and assertive. Great managment overall.Love the new menu!! And look forward to returning.

We have been having our annual iftar gathering here for the last few years. The food is generally fairly good and very good value for money. The service is also quick. This year the mixed grill wasn't too great.

I went with my family as I was told by a friend the masallah fish and grill was really good. Fish was too dry and looked like it was overcooked, the chicken steak was not too bad but the children's meal which was chicken strips and chips had hardly any chicken in the batter.Overall I felt the meal was overpriced considering it is in Green St .

I have to say everytime I come to visit this place I am in for a treat as the food is great and the interior is quite spacious too. The staff are attentive and professional as always and I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Waiters are a bit creepy and kept staring making me feel uncomfortable and food is horrible and oily. They can't cook steaks medium as requested as it turned up as really really well done and the curry I had was so greasy looking put me right off. I only went to try this place as every time I go past it's always packed but who nows why

After some shopping on Green Street, we decided to eat at the grill corner, and what a mistake that was! The 'fresh' fruit juice was not only a rip off but was clearly fresh from a carton!We ordered some chaat which was lovely, then after an hour received our chicken wraps (Though everyone around us who got seated AFTER us got their food BEFORE us...logic?) Not only were the wraps cold, but after specifically asking for no sauce in either wrap (due to allergies) they still proceeded to put them in.FAR from impressed and I will never be returning.Service was also absolutely atrocious.

Been there for lunch and ordered lamb burger. The burger taste like a rubber. This is the worst burger i ever had . Never go this place again.

My friend and i went to have an evening meal it was lovely food,The service was very good. The waiter was good and kind and was moving and attentive.We had spicy rice and plain rice , chicken curry and lamb curry and chip pea all meduim to taste it was lovely.

I've heard about grill corner over 100 times from many people but should have taken the negative comments into consideration before wasting time and money and feeling embarrassed in front of my friends. I Asked the waitress very nicely in her own time to find out the name of a song for me that was playing in the background. Looked back to hear whoever the guy was in the grey top blue jeans say to her not to bother. Could have at least had the decency to come back and say either it's unknown or playing from a play list that hasn't got a name, but still walked passed our table about 10 times after. Restaurant wasn't that busy but still had plates thrown at the table let alone being put in front of us like you'd expect it to. Food was ok ish I've had barbecue wings in many places but this came across very unusual as they just have sauce just scattered all over the wings. A guest is a guest no matter if it's at home or at your restaurant should treat them the same. Won't say i won't go back there only and maybe if it was a last resort.

Really like this restaurant fantastic fresh food cooked in a open kitchen so you know it's cooked to order as you can see the food being cooked in front of you . It's always busy so if you turn up and have to wait for a table don't be surprised that's because the food is good staff are friendly enough but don't go in there with the expectation of fine dining service because that's not what it's about its about good food love their mixed grills and there are kids options as well .

Excellent customer service. The staff were very polite and friendly and the food was very tasty. The food was surprisingly quite cheap incomparison to other restaurants. The food was served very quickly and given in generous portions. They catered for me and my family of 7 very efficiently. I would definitely recommend this place to people!!!

I went to grill corner with some friends for dinner. We didn't really the enjoy the food, one of our dishes chicken biryani had a lot of bones in it and they took a long time getting the food ready. I would not come here again.

My mum ordered king prawn, she got 6 baby raw prawns. Told manager, he said it is advertised king prawn but they serve 6 prawns instead, which is appalling.

Had the Grilled Chicken, well cooked with bags of flavour, friend had the mixed grill which looked awesome and according to him tasted great too, great variety of food and drinks including mocktails none of which is over priced. Really friendly staff, nice and clean environment with a lovely atmosphere, added bonus with tons of parking space behind the restaurant

Went there a few days back, new management has taken over and major improvement in service, the food was better than with previous management. Starting to pick up with food quality and taste. Glad new chef is here, fresh biryani everyday, and looking forward to the new menu. :)) The only thing I disliked a little was the mango lassi, too tangy

i love grilled food n travel far and wide for a good mixed grill, lucky to have the grill corner on my door step with the best tasting mixed grill ive come across in ages, defo recomend for a meal alone , couple or a group. brilliant relaxed atmosphere , clean and well presented. best restaurant on green street by FAR.

my family and I went to the grill corner restaurant yesterday evening our bill came £65 Or so but my father advised to just pay £70 as a goodwill gesture. I just wanted to express the experience we had at this restaurant on the food and the service.The entry was nice one of the staff welcomed us and let us choose where we would like to sit and have our menus kindly but the food was really disappointing.We ordered the mixed olives which had majority of black olives and two green olives which made me have to get up and request to have a more variety in the olives which resulted to only receiving two or three green olives placed into the bowl it wasn't as expected just olives soaked in vinegar which was fine as every restaurant does their olives differently. The staff seemed to lack understanding to what I was saying about mixed olives.The main courses now my mother ordered the sirloin steak as we eat grilled food quite a lot and have had sirloin steak before especially from steakout, it was very dry with no sauce on top at all not succulent at all alongside she ordered creamy mash which did not tasted creamy it was thick and tasted like ready mix mash potatoe. The coleslaw we ordered was very thick and clumpy.My sister ordered the king prawn for £9.50 my father owns a restaurant aswell we know what King prawns should look like that was not King prawn at all we tried to speak to the waiters but they were very u helpful like careless I could have gone Tesco and got a few bags of prawns that size for £9.50 not in a rude manner at all but we was very displeased.My father ordered just chicken curry and asked the waiter the difference in the spicy rice what it consists of and what it's like the waiter gave a very blunt response that he doesn't know my dad clearly nicely explained it's incorrect for him to be apart of a business and a waiter and not know his dishes as my father ensures all his workers and himself know his dishes to explain to customers to help aid choices if needed instead the waiter made cocky remarks that he doesn't work in the kitchen he isn't a chef he takes orders only which was such bad customer service but my father ring patient he just settled for plain rice.I ordered the peri peri half chicken, if you know peri peri is very juicy and marinated well I said if I can have hot peri peri half chicken and I instead got chicken that was quite dry and not much marination to it and the mash potatoes for me was also dry. I hop you address these matters as its so important to have good customer service and let your chefs know to try make effort and the food more marinated with flavour for results.We live in south and came Tuesday to greenstreet for my parents business relations and will attend greenstreet next week but we are so displeased we couldn't enjoy our meal at that restaurant as the location was good for parking to attend again to dine but wouldn't eat there again especially how much was paid and what was served.my father owns a restaurant in south and we also take our customers happiness and satisfaction very seriously. Very unhappy with the food.

We were left feeling disappointed and slightly sick after eating the food, the service was ok, the food not great, I don't like giving bad reviews but there is nothing I can say that was nice about the food... the water was good and the price wasn't bad, but we left a lot of food, I tried to eat as much as I could as I don't like to waste but it was difficult. maybe if we tried other things from the menu it might have changed our mind but we've been to other restaurants on Green Street and they are much better. Sorry folks!

Came here today with my family. The food was rubbish would not recommend to anyone. Ordered biriyani which had no taste there was no salt in it the rice was badly undercooked the lamb curry tasted weird and old was not enough salted either. We had kebabs but didnt get any sauce to neither Biriyani nor to the kebabs so had to order mint sauce and pay for a bowl with plain yoghurt extra. Will never go there again.

Ate here with friends after a shopping spree down ever-famous green street. A little disappointed by the overall experience. The food was ok and so was the service, but thats about it. won't be back in a hurry.

If Tripadvisor allowed me to give this restaurant a zero I would've done that instead of begrudgingly giving it a one star. We visited this restaurant as from the outside it looked smart and there were quite a few customers in it already. From the minute I saw the clear plastic table covering I knew we'd made a mistake. The table covering was filthy, the sauce tray was filthy and the menu holder was, yes you've guessed it, it was filthy! Nevertheless we ordered papadoms, grill 1, nans and a burger kids meal and drinks. The popadums had been fried last week and left to absorb moisture from the air and so were no way near crispy. They were soft and bendy! The chops we're preboiled and put on the grill when ordered so that it looked freshly cooked. Once I bit into a chicken wing a horrendous smell went up my nose and I was close to vomitting. The sheek kebab had two little bones in it which is surprising as it's supposed to be made from minced MEAT not minced bones. The chicken tikka was edible. The nan was thin, dry and crispy. I have never ever seen such terrible freshly cooked nans before!!!! The kids meal was edible. The apple juice was the cheapest they could buy at the cash and carry and was so watered down it should've been called an apple juice drink and not pure apple juice. The pineapple juice surprised me with it's unusual murky colour but it did actually taste of pineapples. All in all a complete waste of money. At this precise moment in time I have been to the toilet three times since lunchtime. My poor mum has been to the toilet five times. You may think that this is too much information but the public need to know and I may have to contact the council and the food standards agency too.

Food was terrible! We had the mix grill which was smothered in a runny curry type sauce.... Obviously to disguise the awful smell of the chicken. I do not recommend this place to anyone! STAY AWAY!!! Left us with bad stomach cramps!!!

We have been here several times before and there are several restaurants to choose from in Green Street but we find these is the one to go to for reasonably priced grills and steaks.A decent establishment, attentive service, the food arrives reasonably fast, it tastes good and good value for money.

I was very excited to come here with my family but was utterly disappointed upon arriving. The table was dirty, the plates were dirty and the atmosphere wasnt good. The food was rubbish and tasted like it was stuffed in a microwave after being prepared a week ago. There was a weird smell when the food arrived and the food also tasted off. The milkshake was more like milk with a bit of chocolate floating on the top. It was a terrible experience and left my whole family feeling ill and with bad stomach cramps. I DON'T recommend this. WORST RESTAURANT EVER

I visited here earlier this evening and we were told to wait by a young man (who by the way is apparently the manager) after waiting about 15 mins we were given a table once we were seated we were seen to by a waitress who when I asked for a jug of tap water replied "no english" ???? I'm baffled if she can't speak English 1 why has she been recruited and 2 why is she here to take orders then???After eventually ordering with another waitress we asked for starters and a mixed grill we also ordered curries and rice we did say if they could bring out the starters and mix grill together and the curry and rice to follow. First we were served chips then just 2 plates of plain rice and then came the mixed grill and then the curry and lastly the drinks we ordered?Okay fine we didn't really complain even though we asked for it in a specific order they were quiet busy so we left it but then when I saw the mint sauce in the little pots I had to do something!The most DISGUSTING thing I ever seen mint sauce when served at a asian resturant is a yogurt based sauce this one was frothy and sticky it looked disgusting and smelled off ergh!! When I called for the manager the young look guy came over he had lack of English and was very rude and was adamant that there was nothing wrong and it's just because of the outside heat well then clearly you should change it over for me right? After not letting me speak and cutting into every sentence he snatched the pot out of my hand and changed the sauce over.If you are a "manager" have some f*#xcing manners I'm paying for my food which by the way that money covers your wages! !!!!!!!I can't belive it your better off crossing the road and going mobeens or even to himalaya it may not look appetising from outside but trust me there food is 100 times better and service is excellent I'm disgusted with this place!

I didn't like the food it was too dry and not tasty. Their drinks however are really nice and fancy and tasty. They have coconut ice cream which they serve in coconut shells which is tasty. Other than that wouldn't go back for the food...

I have visited many restaurants around the world,but I daresay this place was terribleWe had to wait for water,eventually was given complimentary jug. The chicken dishwas partially good and balance half was rubbery.Mutter Paneer was undercooked.Overall the service and food spoilt our entire day.Will not visit this place again

I be not been to any worst grill place. The mix grill and some of the curries arrived literally in minutes which was shocking. The food was not cooked, lack of seasoning and the meat was plastic hard. The chicken was horrible so requested to be taken back. The service was awful, and lacked management. The desert was frozen ice, apparently they put them in the microwave to melt before they serve. I am certainly not going back there!!

Delicious and taste food, excellent customer services. Friendly and prompt staff. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking to eat somewhere with family where good quality food is services along with good customer service. The place is nice and clean too.

Visited with my family after shopping on green street. Staff are very rude. Steak was so dry. The grill came so quickly like it was pre cooked and heated up. Rubbery meat. Table linen was olastic an needed a wash. It completly put me off. They wipe over a plastic sheet n seat customers down. Youd think theyd change them after each customer as the its a modernly desighned restaurant. Im so disappointed an left with paying full bill amount. I dont think ill be back here.

I like this place because of the chicken steak.Haven't tried the curries yet so may be next time will have a chicken curry!
