Thankfully we chose this restaurant on 26/7/24 after attending my graduation ceremony in East London! +Staff were very welcoming, kind & accommodating. +Ambience was likeable which was in part due to the Pakistani decor & cutlery. +The lamb curry, kebab & chicken tikka rolls were very tasty , fresh with plentiful sauces and salad! +The prices are much cheaper than overrated southall & the quality of food & service is much higher! - The nan was a bit hard, instead of preferred fluffy. Only problem is we aren't local or we would be back every week!

Outstanding food. Excellent customer service by Punjabi staff. Haleem is favourite from here.

Use to have decent food now cutting corners and low quality now the kebabs are burnt and the Nan worst thing is the salad is really old avoid this place until they sort out everything really old tables and chairs needs new seating tables everyone just look at there salad it’s really old what they do is mix it with fresh n old salad to jazz it up terrible but the waiters are really quick maybe 30 years ago your reputation was on point but the food your pushing out now is extremely bad use high quality food don’t cut corners before I use to come restaurant is always full now hardly anyone in the restaurant bring back same standards you will see people coming back business will be better

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! VISITED AFTER MANY YEARS AND EVERYTHING WAS STALE AND OFF. CHICKEN DONER WHICH USE TO BE VERY NICE WAS ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL AND IT FELT AS THOUGH YOU WERE GOING TO PUKE. KEBABS MEAT WAS SMELLY FAT AND CHEWY. BIRYANI WAS OK BUT LACKING MASALA. WE READ THE REVIEWS BEFOREHAND BUT THEY MUST BE FAKE. WHEN I TOLD THE OWNWR OF THE EXPERIENCE HIS ONLY RESPONSE WAS NEXT TIME WE WILL MAKE IT NICER 😅 DEFINITELY THE WORST FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN.

Used to be really good about 5 years ago. Changed alot of recipes. Now its dead. Fried chicken is made of something really weird now. Like Aata from a chapati. Everything else is off too... would not eat here, unless you need a cleanse of your intestines. Almost guaranteed to clean up your insides for a few days after eating here.

Been going to A1 kebabish for over 20 years now. Always excellent service and great food too! We love their kebab rolls and chips and treat ourselves to it very often. The best thing is they’ve maintained the great taste over the years. Couldn’t recommend enough 😊

Been there for years. Love the chilli sauce that comes with chips. There keema naan is highly recommended. The fried chicken can be improved it's very floury tasting.

It was bad experience, ordered fish but fish was swimming in oil and on top he put fish on Roti and sauces on top of it, so it was like not eatable, bad experience

Haleem was not nice and tasted sweet. Lamb Curry was tasty. Naan and Roti fresh and hot. Service could be better.

The chicken donor has gone down the hill. Not cooked right and not what it used to be like. Samosa was very oily. But recommend their kebab roll with their sauces and desi chai. Staff were awesome as usual.

I have been coming to this place to eat for many years. The double kebab roll with salad, chilli sauce and mayo is quality. The chicken donner is another reason why I always go. At least once a month I go so yes I am a regular. I enjoy the Pakistani samosas to, veg or keema..... I'm not fussed. I always eat in, so I can get the vibe that I am in Pakistan 🇵🇰

Alhamdullilah, excellent food, excellent service. The naan stood out for me today as I have never seen a perfect piece of naan until today. Not overcooked, not burnt, just perfect. And it went well with the seekh kebabs which were fantastic. The lamb biryani was full of flavour and taste. Excellent overall, would recommend! Ma sha'a Allah!

Unless you know what real food is then eat here. When I went home and saw the food, was insulted. I’ve stopped coming here a long time ago due to the poor quality food but this occasion I was starving to the point I felt sick and couldn’t be bothered to walk further (which I regret). Customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very wooden and seemed like he was a robot SPINACH and LAMB CURRY ⭐️⭐️ The saag was added in the takeaway box which took up space so it meant less meat. Took up quarter of the space. - UNDER-SEASONED Had to add all purpose (see images) - OILY Not sure whether I filled up on oil or the meat. Complete joke (see image) - NOT ENOUGH MEAT A quarter of the portion was just masala/sauce (see images) - STILL LEFT HUNGRY Didn’t fill me up even though it was £12.99 for a large! (You can get cheaper curries down the road for £9.95) Also there was depressing ambient violin music playing in the background. Overall, not surprised the food was poor and as planned NEVER TO RETURN unless it’s a dire emergency.

Best Chicken Donor in London. Since 2003 I have been eating their donor. Must visit.

It's a good place to visit,the food is delicious, yummy, service is good 👍, clean and wide sitting area..The staff are very good and supporting.. I like it all ❤️ and recommended it to everyone to go there and enjoy all kind of Desi, Chinese, Indian, Pakistani food.. Thumbs up 👍

An old gem. This place has been around for years and kept up the quality of food. If not thee but one of the best chicken donners in London. Lamb/chicken Currys are good too. Can be hit and miss depending what time of the week you go but generally really good.

Great taste. From the curries to the meat grille. Regular jaunt. Update: I'll always come back. That lamb bhunna with brown rice is delicious. Especially with their mayo and chilli sauce combo. Just wonderful.

I really liked the takeaway food but when I got home realised I was charged at least £10 extra. The breads weren't great but other food very good. I think they mistakenly charged for extra dish

Service was great, served very nicely and also restaurant was clean and atmosphere was also ok. This has been the go to place if you are looking quick yet hearty, well cooked meal. Fantastic value for money and a family friendly, welcoming environment inside.They also customized the food according to your taste. Really recommend their chicken kabab , it was soft, tender, perfectly marinated.

Good, simple food done well. I always order kebab rolls for takeaway from here and they bang. Perfectly spiced and seasoned meat, with beautifully made naans, flavoursome sauces, and fresh veg. Only issue is that they forgot to pack my gulab jamun once. Was quite disappointed because I always need a sweet pick-me-up after the spiciness of their kebab rolls, and I was robbed of my gulab jamun which I’d paid for. Still giving 5 stars though, because everyone makes mistakes, and I’ve never had any other issues with this place. Also I was refunded, thankfully, by JustEat.

This was actually the first place I tried the same day I landed in the uk in 2019. The food was amazing , the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The chicken donar was perfectly cooked and full of flavors

All the dishes was appetising, delicious, and fresh. Would definitely recommend and would go again, and with their cheap price, you can't go wrong.

Went after a break with friends to give farewell to one of our relatives. Everyone enjoyed the food most. XL Mixed grill was huge, we ordered an extra medium mixed grill as well. Lamb karahi and dal was also nice. Mixed grill was very different from other local restaurants and everything was different and juicy. Service was also great, served very nicely and also restaurant was clean and atmosphere was also good. Recommend !!!

Been coming here with friends and family for over 10 years. Food is always great and service too. It has gone pricey though (like most places) but ain’t no stopping Us. The double kebab is too good 👍

I just love this place and everything about it. The food is unmatched, always good quality and fresh. The brothers who own it always go above and beyond to provide a warm service.

Normally an excellent place to eat. But today I ordered a large quantity of chicken pieces and found that they were mostly dried out, and rather hard/chewy. I think they have me all the old pieces. I'll have to speak to the manger next time I go as it's very disappointing to be let down our this.

i have been to a1 about 20 times in 2018 alone. Their kebab roles and samosas are always good, i havnt been disapointed once. I have tried their nihari, chicken biryani and a few other curry type dishes to, they are all good as well. Definetly worth going to

Fui sola para la cena. Probamos el rollo de pollo kabab. Siendo un extraño, yo no sabía que en Inglaterra son rollos kabab en realidad no "rollos", mejor es el espacio abierto en el que se colocan naan dos kebabs y un montón de otras cosas como ensalada, salsas, etc. El tipo que no puedo esperar a oír de mis preferencias, y poner casi todo de ella, lo que no importó mucho. Pero aún así, estaba bastante bien, y a un precio muy razonable. Recomendaría este lugar para una comida barata halal.

I’ve been eating here since I was young and the food has never disappointed me. The service is always excellent and the food is made fresh right in front of you. It’s worth mentioning that even though they have been plenty of new restaurants built around this place , A1 kebabish have always retained and kept their customers happy. Whether it’s with family or friends , I truly recommend this place for anyone who would like to have genuine delicious food.

Famous for its kebab and grills as the name suggests though disappointed with their servings which was bit small than normal. What I liked most was their Doner Kebab and choice of chutneys. An average eatery within a budget.

We had initially planned to go Al Qasr but unfortunately 5hey were booked out for the evening due to a wedding so as a last resort as the family was starving we decided to try this place I wasn't expecting much from the look but let me tell you looks can be deceiving! Really tasty food my daughter is a really fussy eater but she finished her plate and wanted more which is music to a parents ears Family of 4 all stuffed for £20 including drinks Can't complain at them prices especially in London

Ordered a mixed grill from here, was told the smallest size available was £15.99. For that price I would have expected lamb chops to be included but they weren't. The food was cooked and marinated with the lamb, chicken, seekh kebabs and onion all together so that everything was an orange masala colour. No ratings for this place from me, even the fried onions were covered in masala and tasted dead. Go 7 kings kebabish instead for a real mixed grill

Their chilli sauce is the best thing ever! Must drench those chips and order some chicken doner. Price and food is amazing! They don't do lamb doner.

My family's regular mix grill & huge naan restaurant for over 15 years. Food is alway delicious. Service is always brilliant. Lovely fresh salad. Wen u want a break from cooking this is the place to go and enjoy!!!

Great for those looking for a good cheap kebab and chips. Has a few more dishes Masala fish and somosas. They are a good service i would say not for those who don't want to get a little messy lots of meat and sauces to hand. Worth a boys night out after a few.

This is my local naan and kebab shop. V nice food, i normally stick to basic grill food. Though their daal and chicken karai are nice. My friends like their fish, nihari and paya. I generally do a take away, though have eaten inside with my wife or friends. Best chicken donor locally, i have it all served separately so i can enjoy my food, rather than have it all piled onto one plate. Halal, and v polite Pakistani owners/staff
