Griffin in Camden

Visiting here on my stag party . They charge me 2000 pounds in not even 2 hours . I was drunk and that’s why they see that and they charge me for I don’t know what . Trying to contact them to give me receipt but not answer back . Please be aware if you go there .

I have been charged over for the services used . They distracted me and charge me price that I haven't been aware of .

This place was hilarious! Ridiculously seedy with hideous council type furniture everywhere and you can have reasonably priced private dances! 100% recommend this place if your up for a good night out! Ignore the seedy old man in the DJ booth and you should have a good night!

I went here with my friend, Colin from Swindon and his colleague Mr Rousseau. We had to place money in a mug every few minutes so the singers and dancers continued to perform. Meantime we are concluding a business deal worth several pounds and every minute or so somebody comes around with a cup to out money in. Eventually Rousseau points out to the staff that the Griffin used to be the logo for Midland Bank and this is negative in today's corruption of banks, society, subprime and greed. The staff told us to finish our drinks and leave. We enjoyed it while there but this exit was unpleasant. I won't return but it is okay for others to go as long as they are not expecting Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Griffin ha estado allí desde hace 26 años y sigue fuerte. Si bien no es el mejor de su tipo, pero Griffin ha tenido éxito porque rompe muchos tabúes de los clubes de striptease convencionales, en su mayor parte para beneficio de los visitantes. Es bastante mecánico y los bailarines no lo presionan mucho, ya que saben que no habrá Grands y Darwins bañándose en el escenario como un club de caballeros. No significa que las actuaciones sean malas, las chicas intencionalmente muestran movimientos básicos que podrían ser suficientes para impresionarte para un baile privado más tarde. Los propios bailarines varían en sus habilidades con uno o dos bailarines que tienen un excelente talento para mezclar la danza con la exposición. well the building is nice yet the staff, girls and bouncers are a joke, the barmaid was miserable, aggressive not even capable of a saying hello with a piss poor attitude. trying to order a group of 7 drinks is a task on a night out, i get it but we are all spending money good money frequently maybe give me a couple of seconds before you huff and puff and stamp your feet like a little brat. the girls are pushy and quite rude i cant even watch the girl on stage who i just put my pound in for and im being hassled by another i know how the £1 system works but what a joke. and to top it off an innocent trip on the wet entrance way caused an almighty explosion of foul language UN-called for aggression and violence. the bouncer felt it acceptable to punch my colleague in the back over a slip and accused him of intentionally pushing him as someone with a security background your doormen are a disgrace to the industry. funny reading the reviews online i am not the 1st to bring this up.

The Griffin is a strip pub, it’s free to enter, drinks are reasonably priced and there is full Sky/BT sports available. It’s well run, not seedy and feels safe, you can check in coats and bags behind the counter. There are rules, £1 in the glass as the dancers go on stage and a private dancer is £15, or £10 before 5pm. No phones are allowed when the dancing is on and by well run I mean it’s not a brothel and isn’t a dark dingy venue, it’s actual very well fitted out and quite a vibrant place, there are strict rules for the customers and the dancers. The website gives more information about the venue. Nearest tube station is Chancery Lane.

... but as will be apparent on entering, this is a Stripper pub. I haven't been in, in years (one stag night) but can't recommend as a restaurant, so I thought I'd warn people about the place. Not sure how this squares with Tripadvisor policy, but I hope I'm being helpful! Review ratings are all down at Terrible, for obvious reasons, and I can't really comment on its qualities as a a strip club...
