Lovely friendly welcome and included in to life of the bar straight away. Excellent mix of good local beer and others. Dog friendly in the bar. Great garden come a warmer summer. Rugby and Frank turner fans

Read about the recent smokehouse menu so called in to give it a try. Unfortunately another commitment cropped up which meant it had to be a much shorter visit than intended. That said, it was early evening and the service was prompt and friendly for our one course dinner (Sirloin Steaks). Will go back to take a closer look at the food choices.

Fabulously friendly staff, beautiful tasting food and lovely location, aided by a sunny day and beer garden. As a veggie I was catered for and dogs welcome. Generous portions... probably not diet Friendly portions or options but who cares when this yummy. Would highly recommend to anyone. Kids menu available

We had a fabulous evening, very reasonable prices we booked in advance which I think was i good idea as it’s so popular. Food was amazing!!! Good portion sizes and tasted beautiful, Smoke house theme food and some choices for children. 5*

This is the second time I've been here in the past few weeks and had the rump steak twice and it has been fabulously cooked and really tasty. In the kitchen there is a smoker for the meats and the mixed meats platter looks superb for those that are really hungry. Staff and landlord are really nice and it's dog friendly. What more can you want. Oh and the beer's good.
