Greggs - Wythenshawe in Salford

This review is for branch at George Street. Offer for lunch was irresistible for the price. Hot drink is favourable in cold weather, especially. Quality of food and service could match much more expensive alternative elsewhere so it's obvious why queue is normal there.

Terrible service from one member of staff as we purchased food and drinks off a male colleague, we then asked for hot water for to fed baby milk when a lady colleague interrupted and said we can’t be given or purchase hot water as it’s store policy either though we had purchased hot beverages. Had to leave without being able to feed baby

Asked if possible for a plain ham sub didn't mind paying full price ,but no salad no mayo due to egg alige ,sorry was reply you can have dry sub with ham can't substitute spread for mayo not allowed .although I understand its very frustrating please Griggs start doing plan ham subs in civic center like you do in your other stores ,not all of us want to give our children a sausage roll

At the end of the day Gregg is Gregg an overrated cafe or bakery who think there the leading bakery in the world they are deffinetly no value for money if you have to shop there fine but go pound bakery a quick snack or brunch great value for money if I must say so myself

When dad and I shop in Wythenshawe, this is our 'go to' place for a bacon butty and coffee. Only a few tables and chairs inside and out, and it can get busy, so you may have a bit of a wait, but so worth it. Excellent prices but really difficult avoiding eye contact with the cakes!!

while out shopping i got peckish,nothing new really, and nipped into greggs, its usually pretty busy so had a bit if a wait, grabbed a chicked salad sub sandwich, paid and ate it when i got to my car, it was tasty but more salad would have been better.

Greggs has really improved of late with new lower calorie options and a host of interesting flavor combinations. Always find the staff peasant and happy to help in this one. Downside is they are always running out of basics like cheese and onion and meat and potato pasties. It's also rare to get a pizza slice that has not been cremated

Wythenshawe, a town where the streets are paved in gold... well, golden pastry flakes at least. From the moment you step off the number 105 bus you are aware of the importance that this iconic dish has in this South Manchester suburb. You will likely hear the names Com'ere and Oi being gracefully sang across the halls of the new interchange, over the din of screaming rug rats who's faces are encrusted with the mouth watering remnants of freshly oven baked puff pastry; and dried snot... Following the golden trail, you'll soon be in pastry heaven as you enter the Birtles. Your nostrils will be pulled toward the inescapable mass of being sucked into the doors of Greggs... Ah, steak and cheese rolls... Chicken curry lattice... Potato and minced beef pasties... Rejoice my friend... You have arrived...
