Really tasty food. I love the triple chocolate muffin. The sandwiches are good. The prices are extremely cheap. You cannot beat a good greggs.

This is absolutely amazing. I don't care if they don't have a chocolate muffin. The gingerbread man was fantastic too.

A good while since I indulged in a Gregg's Cornish pastie ( sorry that should be meat and veg pastie nowadays). They never were great but boy have they gone down a.bit - £1.70 for a small parcel of flaky pastry filled with a spoon full of tasteless meat and veg based product. I'll try another one in a couple of years - watch this space.

This is a small cafe situated within Gregg's bakery shop. They serve a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and their renowned pasties; all of which can be taken away or eaten inside. Theirs is one of three new businesses on this redeveloped site. Hopefully there will be more to come in future, There is ample free parking, with a two hour liimit. It is a pleasant place to sit and relax with a nice cuppa, between the two bigger shops. There are times when some food items appear to be in short supply.

We ordered a takeaway via JustEast and were honestly a little underwhelmed by it all. We went with the steak and chicken mixed kebab, which literally only had a couple of pieces of the meat we ordered and then was for some reason bulked out with doner kebab. The meat was okay, but not great and the side salad pretty limp and drenched in vinegar. We also had sides of chips and halloumi, which again were only okay. I think at £30 it was really overpriced for what we got, not sure I would be in a hurry to order from here in the future.

Attended a party here last night, Terrible service and drinks. The staff were miserable definitely no service with smiles in this place. I do agree with the last review, the staff need customer service training. Gin with a warm bottle of cheap lemonade for my first drink, Then I got a glass of Warm Prosecco (which I was advised by the staff that the party guests were drinking far to quick so can’t chill quick enough)🥴 Then I received a flat dreg from a different kind of Prosecco bottle which I had to send back. Then I noticed each round of the same drinks I was being charged different prices. When questioned I was told I should be lucky that I have been undercharged the previous time🥴 Good job this place is at the bottom end of the town so it was a 1 off visit, I’ll not have to visit again.

Lovely afternoon meeting old friends & one special friend from Australia. This is a hidden gem but could be improved greatly and 'COULD BE A UNIQUE' place for Sunderland. Firstly they need to get the phone line working. Three of us had tried to get through to pre order food but phone line does not work. Two lovely happy girls on service but they were overworked and looked stressed, they need a pat on the back . Couple of jacket potato orders were missed from one order so it was an extra half hr wait. Then 2 sandwiches came out with wrong fillings then they ran out of bread so no more sandwiches could be ordered. Not the waiting staffs fault but they got the flack. Then we were told there was no white wine left. Such a shame as we loved the place but it needs these things addressing. would still recommend as we need some unusual attractions in our city. With a telephone system that works.
