Greggs in Bolton

Bolton interchange. Pasties are cold at 7am all the time, not just a one off. Sometimes my coffee cup is half full and it’s never been hot.

I fancied a pie breakfast. But it was more of the same.as 3 months ago. I had 15mins to catch a bus. Huge queue and 2 people serving. Despite folks leaving the queue I only just made my bus. The lady serving was nice but explained they have NO warm pies and not enough staff. I had a similar experience last month at Gregg's Manchester Piccadilly and there they just shrugged their shoulders as youths walked in taking the drinks for free as they pleased. Something not right at Gregg's. Won't be back any Gregg's. Old review: the staff are pleasant and hard working. But there are never enough if them on a morning so if you have a bus to catch avoid Greggs as you will likely miss your bus waiting in the queue. The bacon butties can not be classed as such: dry bacon not warm enough to even melt the margarine. Decaff coffee disgusting. Next visit a many months later. Fancied a pastie. I didn't get to.eat one as I waited that long in the queue without getting served that if I had waited any longer I would have missed my bus. Some things never change.

I'm disable with mobility issues and ask if can I skip the queue and the staff ask me to join like everyone, but I'm not everyone I'm disable.

About the one at Bolton interchange,already from early morning dirty tables and chairs. The pasties are dried up,not fresh at all. DISGUSTING hot drinks,don't get me started About the bacon. It's so dry that it's not edible 😩. Money wasted, staff not friendly at all. I advise you to spend your money elsewhere 🙏🏿.

Staff seemed to not listen to customers. Most customers are repeating themselves because it's noisy and they are being distracted by what's going on around them.

I always come here to get myself vegan sausage roll, and sometimes i get myself mayo dip with it, i asked the working old lady with glasses to give me mayo dip aswell, hearing that she was giving me odd look as if she didn’t want to give me the dip, she was fed up by the fact that i asked her for a mayo dip, greggs need to work on customer service as the old & new workers need to listen to it’s customers & to not be rude & not be incoherent.

Always been here and I’ve never been so annoyed till today where I got served by a woman at the till called christvie and her attitude stunk, she did not seem like she wanted to be there or serve any customer, she spoke like rubbish to me which I do not appreciate. I work with customers myself so I know how you should treat them but she does not and I am not one bit happy about it so I will be taking this further but I recommend to people to be prepared for her attitude if she’s on the tills.

Been in a few times, today a pretty blonde lady served me. Very nice woman. Helpful & polite. However the other girl (of dark skin) was abrupt and rude to a friend of mine

Served by a nice guy who was extremely friendly, asked if I had the app but I didn’t. Sausage rolls were perfect, golden and hot!

Was served by a lovely pretty blonde lady. Her badge said trainee. Very polite, lovely manners. I guess they train their staff very well.

Worst ever quality of food had today, no one even dared to put it in mouth. They fooled me as front was looking ok. Only 1 pastie and sausage roll was edible.

I have free coffe from my o2 priority every week but the old lady out there says we are not accepting it even she wasn’t try to scan my qr code.

Your female staff with a tattoo on her neck on tonight's shift could use much more customer service training. Extremely cold and unfriendly. Wouldn't even respond to salutation and straight-up unreceptive. Was a second away from asking for a refund. She needs to do better. I only came to patronize the business!

I was here earlier on today and the ladies at the shop were beyond despicable, extremely rude and made fun of a customer that was having issues with her card. Instead of helping out the one attending to her was making snide comments the rest were cackling off like a pack of hyena. I did call her out and she tried to give silly excuses.

Second time: no sausages on a Sunday morning.

Slow and coffee was cold enough to be served to an infant.

Asked for my snack to be heated up after paying, but staff snorts that he can't since he already told me the snack wasn't very warm. When I asked why, he dismissively says that there was no microwave.

Great friendly and helpful staff.

Used be 5 stars had it every day but then they changed machine last uear (2022) and now it tastes completely different not nice anymore such a shame.

Seriously gone down hill recently, alot of food not available, ovens always breaking apparently, servers repeat your order back to you and still get it wrong and because they are lazy they can't be bothered doing more hot food after 5pm despite being open till 20:30

Disgraceful staff.... Accused of taking a sandwich by the HUMONGOUS mess behind the counter.. When i blatantly walked up to the kiosk with it prior... Never again

Clearly frustrated member of staff who had plenty of attitude in tone. Also gave me a cold bap in the breakfast roll deal.

Great pleasant staff but I really don't mean to be rude but on many occasions when you have a bus to catch and the que is getting longer and longer in the morning I have stood in the queue two older lady's on chatting as they serve great but just serve a bit faster,this morning I was in queue poor lad only just joined on his own queue was massive

20/11/22: I cannot buy food after seeing a young member of staff adjusting her hair net and running her fingers through her hair. Do Gregg's emphasise hygiene I their training?

I come here regular but today on 23rd December 2021 at 5pm I came and asked for a cheese pasty on a barm. Was told they have barms but don't want to give me 1. When asked why can't I have 1 I was told 'i can't give u a reason rite now'. I don't understand why they would say that. Poor service the decision was made by the young lad working on this Thursday evening. Ridiculous

Service atrocious... no staff huge queues walked away..

Convenient place to get refreshments as situated within the bus station. Time on google says until 5pm mon but I'm reviewing on Monday and i was told by server that they close at 8pm. You can eat in although it's in station so not particularly warm yet you pay slightly more at the till for sitting. No sugar available so less stars.

I had a long wait for bus at Bolton bus station. Went to Gregg's bought a hot chocolate drink and 2 cakes. Paid a little extra so that I could sit at one of their tables. At the age of 86 I needed a nice sit down

Greggs is good for a quick snack or a lunchtime sandwich. Coffee also available and accessible for the bus station. Couldn't be more convenient.

Wonderful staff, for the price the food is mostly good. Delivery can be very hit and miss.

Ordered via JE, and was told to contact the restraunt. All they had to say was "your order isn't here" been waiting for 2 hours, staff was unfriendly on the phone and not helpful at all. This store is apparently run by a money grubber who's happy to take payments but not willing to even call their driver to chase a "lost" order.

I am almost 9 months pregnant and asked for a tap water and they refused to give me some and was very argumentative.

I enjoy going to greggs i enjoy their pies especially the pastry and i enjoy their salad bagette top stuff.

Horrible member of staff here, Blonde hair and braces, threw my change into my hand and moved away quickly while pulling her face at me like I have some kind of disease. Sausage Roll was ok and the chicken bites were cold

Really convenient for any time of day even open till 9, had a great experience staff are always nice even when really busy, witch they get especially in the morning.
