Very handy for a fast bite to eat or quick coffee

Lovely staff. I went in for an affordable coffee and cup of tea for the Salvation Army rep outside. Also got talking to someone sat outside - lovely!

Never waited so long in a greggs before. One member of staff taking and forfiling orders whilst you can hear other staff giggling behind the scenes. Poor girl, felt for her.

Always lovely sausage rolls and donuts. Coffee is OK. Friendly staff. Toilets could do with some cleaning . Not advised to use them at the minute.

Very short of staff, one lovely lady on a Friday morning tryst to serve lots of people.

This should not be open with the state of the toilets. There was food on the floor. The dust and dirt was unbelievable. The toilet brush was on show which was soiled. Disgusting for a place that is serving food.

Very helpful quick service at a competitive price

Staff clearly stressed/ overworked and seemed to disagree about when the seating area should close. Having sat down with our drinks and cake (after asking if it was ok to eat in,) another lady appeared, quite obviously annoyed and told us it was closed and began quickly pulling chairs away from tables. Some people got up but after speaking to staff were allowed back. I assume because, like us they had already paid to eat in. Greggs please display times your seating area closes to prevent customers unwittingly being caught in this situation again. Very unpleasant atmosphere.

Price very high compare with the same product you could buy somewhere else, and it’s even a Petrol Station. Greggs cost you £2.40 and Asda Petrol Station cost you £1.10

I always find that the staff at Greggs are really friendly. Service is fast and cakes and pastries are second to none. Who can resist a Greggs sausage roll. Yummy!!!

Steak bake is a must Only down side is there is 4 staff at the back and only 1 serving big queues now never used to be like this

I went greggs today. First time it wasnt so busy when it normally is . Don't matter the time of day. I ask for a vegan sausage roll. The guy that served me ask me if i only wanted one and i said yes. After leaving the shop , he gave me the wrong order . He gave me a normal sausage roll. I am forbidden to eat being muslim. I glad the other customers in shop could see his wrong doing.

Getting sloppy in there success, Food never hot no more, Slow staff, People buying just coffee? Disappointed, won't return for a while if ever I want a sausage roll but not if I have to wait 15mins

Great place nice food and good service, good place for catch up

Staff were lovely and friendly. Was very busy being the summer holidays. Took my mum who is in a wheelchair and really struggled to get around the shop and find a seat that we could park the wheelchair at the table. Ended up being squashed in a corner and quite stressful.

Not enough staff on a Saturday que is long and slow moving Didn't realise when u ask for a hot pasties it's pot luck if they are still warm as left to go cold as not allowed to heat them up again Which I get but surely they can keep them warm ?

So short staffed they had to close until the staff had a break and food Seating area was closed as they didn't have the staff to clear tables. Had to wait outside for 20 mins until they reopened

Good food but customer service not great

Once again, a typical Gregg's. They get extremely busy, and there aren't really many seating options to accommodate the number of customers. There are a few seats outside, though. The seating area was clean enough, but the bins were full, leaving a messy feel. Can't blame the staff, though... it was very busy.

Greggs is a popular place. When I went the line was going out the door. Friendly staff. Places to sit inside and outside. Wheelchair accessible. I had a Tuna baguette that tasted amazing. Good variety of food and drinks.

Terrible service even worse after the refit. If you enjoy queuing for ages and being disappointed this is the place for you.

Nice, but I don't like how you have to go into the shop to see what's on offer . It was much better when goods were displayed in the window.

Do love Gregg's wherever you go same quality same reasonable prices, my favorite drink is always the tea it's excellent matched with a big fat bacon salad mayo baguette 🥖 all for less than a fiver can't beat it for value, pleasant staff and clean surroundings very good

Not great to be honest. Ordered two sausage bean and cheese slices. Server said, "they're not very warm", so I said "oh, can you heat them up then?", "oh no, we can't do that, but you can!" Really? Come on, what's the point of pointing out they're cold if you can't do anything about it?

Good place in Maldon to go. Very friendly and helpful staff and as you would expect the sausage rolls are brilliant.

Create service, great food especially the sausage rolls. What is there to not like?

I have not been in the Witham branch for years but it was really nice and clean

Staff could be a little friendlier when serving customers - if you don't like serving people at least try and not make it look too much of an effort.

No complaints clean and tidy although not as many hot choices as usual but was lunch time. Staff friendly and places to sit inside.

The sausage rolls are brilliant and had cakes that were awesome. Not cheap but also not overpriced. Always crowded so have to wait but no big problem.Staff are always excellent and highly recommend this place.

Staff are lovely and food is yummy

Only had coffee to drink at the outside tables, which apparently can only be served in cardboard containers. Due to my condition this poses a problem for me. Other than the container the staff and service were great and would have got 5 stars.

Tea, coffee,sandwiches, hot pastries etc. Can eat in or take out.

Nice outside area, which seemed popular, and pleanty of inside seating as well, staff were friendly, there was a small que but I didn't have to wait to long to be served, food was tasty and seemed freshly made

None of the tables had been wiped clean before we sat down. This was done just before we were leaving.

Great little stop off for me once a week, ladies are always friendly and get to know you. Look forward to it every Wednesday. Good coffee too!

I got myself a Feta Tomato Pasta as recommended by a friend. It was really very very nice and very filling too. Great taste and easy to eat. Loved it! To top it I got a Belgian bun which was sweet and delicious. What a lunch!I 😀

Its was wonderful to have a bacon roll and a sausage filled roll and coffees. Only a few tables spread out to eat . The service was great and with a cheerful voice. Thank you.

Decaf coffee was tasteless and despite asking if the sausage roll was hot, it wasn't. The young lady keep saying darling, not for me, I will not hurry back

Well stocked bakers with lots on offer to have a bite in. Stringently following social distancing and track and trace procedures.

Sorry Greggs, but YUK! Bought pack of jam doughnuts; barely any jam, dry fatty dough, left an aftertaste in the mouth. Horrible and expensive - all the pastry goods seem to be oozing fat! Just look at the fat that soaks into the paper bag from their pastry goods. Never had a decent cake from here: supermarket cakes and bread are far superior to this so-called bakery.

I love going to Gregg's as the food is good. You can go for a snack hot or cold eat in or takeaway. The staff are very helpful and polite. This is in the Grove Shopping Centre Braintree. They also sell Bread and Cakes, Coffee Tea and cold drinks. They do offers too. There is parking at the top of The Grove entrance from Rayne Road. Prices are low and you get a lot for your money.

Could do better on price and make offers clear

Where are the vegan sausage rolls? I went here specifically to try them, so really dissapointed when they didn't have them at the Witham Greggs... please start stocking them

Its ok as a chain you know what to expect and generally they maintain the expected standards. Their breakfast roll meals are good value.

Sausage rolls, bacon sausage rolls, jam donuts, cheese and onion pasties, tea (fairtrade) all of the above are my favorite things ....
