Greggs in Redbridge

Certain times can take awhile to get served not always enough staff.

Rude customer service, rude staff, not polite, Stratford greggs and the greggs near ilford station have very good customer service and nice staff.

What's there to not like about greggs??? Love the flat white I buy everyday and the pastries are absolutely delicious every time!

Worst service and most of the time their card payment and greggs app are not working. They say if you scan the greggs app their system will collapse . It's not a instance and happens many times and today as well. I thinking to uninstall the gregg's app.

Utter rubbish!! Staff are very rude. Once again there app and card payment not working today and they opened 2 hours late!!!

We had a bad experience. The lady dropped the food on the floor and used the same box to put 2 chicken strips back , she forgot to add the coffee and when we told her she charged extra for coffee but it was with our meal deals . Don't recommend

Extremely slow service, not a lot of choice most days in the sandwich and hot food partitions, unlike other Greggs. Time to close this one down I think.

Food is as good in any other Gregg's but member of staff very inspirational, rude and unhelpful. They refused to mix two tyes of donuts in the same little bag..when l told them why they did it last week. The lady said to me " if you are not happy with my sevice l can send you another person to serve you" but she also added " I will not serve you ever again" This is just appalling this is why l am not getting anything else from this shop in particular. They should prove customer service skills before working in a food place Just disgusting

Dry, over cooked, rock hard bacon. Couldn't eat it through fear of losing my teeth..... First and last time I'll visit this Greggs

very rude staff .I asked for pizza and was told after 6 minutes. After 6 minutes I came back and the pizzas were ready, but they didn't sell me

This Greggs is not staffed properly and is very unclean which poses health and safety concerns - their vegetable pasty bakes made me nauseous and the staff refuse to help/bag your items for you if you order a lot/need a bag - not a good service and the food in general made me sick. Other Greggs nearby would be a better option.

I don't understand 70% of thr time I visit the store they don't have cream éclair which I like the most what is happening here. When you guys know there is demand for this specific item why don't you make more

Went to Greg's eating area was disgusting, messy food on the floor. Asked a member of staff to wipe the tables. Didn't bother was to busy faffing about.

Need to provide trays for eat in customers especially with covid eating off the counter is not very hygienic from wrapper or paper bag provided hope this issue will get addressed quickly as possible .

Service and food is good but the cleanliness is very poor. The sugar station is very old, grim and dirty. The shop overall is very dated. Need a revamp and clean.

Ilford greegs are terribly short staffed they always have one member at the till and a guy in the back doing Uber orders this is very off putting as the cue is always huge and slow sometimes having to leave without getting food worry about turning up late for work

Very rude member of staff. Argued with me about having milk in black coffee as we asked for white..instead of being professional and polite he argued with me insisting I asked for black. Really rude man! I'm not going back there again. I've been to several Greggs and they are polite. What makes this one in Ilford any different? He was Such miserable so and so.

Greggs is a stable and their varied menu has improved immensely recently. I popped in for breakfast was very positively surprised, as my order was made fresh and hit the spot perfectly! The only downside of this Greggs is that they don't put many of their sandwiches out, as, unfortunately, people help themselves to the produce without paying. Signs of the times I guess?!

Went to greggs after going out shopping. My mum had ordered 2 steak bakes , 2 margarita pizzas, a sausage roll and a star cookie. We go outside to eat the steak bakes and to our surprise they were chicken bakes, I take them back and he goes to me that I will have to wait 10 mins for them, considering that we had already paid for them and was supposed to get them the first time, we didn’t wait as we were just grabbing something quick. On top of this, he also tried putting other things into the bag that my mum didn’t even order. Need to listen more carefully to what is being said and what the customer wants. Bad customer service, as normally they are quite good but today was absolutely ridiculous.

Bin area was dirty..no tissues were given even though we said eating in and paid for eating in..

All I can say is they do not make enough of the vegan baguettes, consistently don't have them or have run out. Today it was 12pm and they had run out, and sadly they were not interested to make any more.

Who doesn’t love Greggs? Their vege bakes, vegan sausage roll, cheese and onion bakes, sandwiches, pasta salads and mouthwatering fresh cream buns and cookies, are just delicious! The medium sized shop in ilford centre used to be very busy but not that much over the last few years. There are empty shelves even during mid morning which needs to be stocked regularly. I would have given 5 stars but I didn’t because of their customer services assistants being quite a grumpy bunch. The new ones are sweet and friendly but the ones that have been there for a while don’t seem to want to be there. If your are in any kind of customer facing role the least you can do is smile. Customers notice little things so try not to lose them to your competitors.

Greggs is and will always be the best place for hot sausage rolls and their hot chocolate in my opinion. Went there a few ago and brought 16 hot sausage rolls and they was very shocked but really helpful and apologise because I had to wait 10 minutes for them to cook .Staff are always cheerful and happy to help with their hot baguettes. Highly recommend .

Lockdown bacon sarnie on a gloomy Thursday morning. Hot coffee standing under the awning - a little joy from Greggs on a cold winters day. Lovely!

Friendly service, nice food. Shame you cant sit down even after lockdown.

Stopped for coffee and a snack. This one had the hot food section with nuggets and wedges. Not bad, nice size greggs with all the greggs food and drinks that you expect.

There's something about the seating area I just don't like so I've stopped going. I prefer more private areas to sit and eat and at Greggs it's very public and open.

Brilliant staff and one of the few good things about Ilford.

Maggie is always a pleasure to be served by, amazing customer service skills. Someone I would hire and I have even offered her a job. She is the main person in there keeping the place lively and energetic and always has a smile on her face. Some of her colleagues including the management need to learn a thing or 2 from her especially when dealing with customers. Raymond is also a great guy who always has a smile on his face and nothing is too much for him, always willing to help. These 2 are probably the best staff in there and I’m always going in hoping to be served by one of them.

Quick and fast service especially around busy lunch periods!!

Very good golf course even in not the best of conditions well able to play it and post a good score even on my handicap of 28

Who doesn't love bakery? Bakery lovers will never get bored of this place. I've come here my whole life and it still hasn't sickened me😏

Cannot live without Greggs. Its the meaning of life. Coffee is 10 times better than all those so called best brands.

Great convenient place right next to bus stop hubs. Friendly staff with indoor seating and nice layout. It has an open welcoming atmosphere that you can grab a sandwich, coffee and sit & chill or takeaway.

I brought tuna baguette and for some reason didn't taste as fresh tasted almost like a basic range supermarket sandwich. Bread was soggy and prepared in a rush.

I love the sausage rolls and the staff so helpful I was served by a small boy called dean he was so helpful and nice wish I could he’s number I be going back there if I see him I get he’s number plus he’s hot like the sausage roll was

Walked into Greg’s and got a coffee and Stark bake and did not mention I was eating in and the second I sat down a gentleman called Raymond said I had ten minutes.5 min later he shouted to me in front of other customers. Extremely humiliating as he walked up to me and asked me to pay 50p more for staying. Shocking customer service

I've just left here and thrown the cold undercooked steak baked in the bin. Customer service was diabolical.

Cheap eats if you Like sausage rolls and steak bakes etc. Coffee is decent and only a pound. Nice little seating area with electric plugs. Smaller bar seat area with high seats.

I loved going to this place until today (11/12/2016) and I won't be returning. I ordered a margherita pizza slice which the woman serving me, dropped on the floor. I had to wait about fifteen minutes for another one, which was slightly burnt, and before I left, I see one of the workers put the floor pizza back in the display unit! She was a moody looking indian lady - bit tall. Disgusting hygiene standards. You can not be doing things like that. She had no excuse as I saw the other worker tell her it fell on the floor.

I've often had take-out from Greggs but this is the first time that I've actually sat in to eat. Friendly staff, clean environment, lots of choice, fair prices, tasty rolls and good service. Won't hesitate to eat in again.
