Greggs in Shropshire

Greggs is always good for coffee and a quick snack. The staff are friendly and helpful. They brought our drinks to the table and took the tops off for us

Pleasant staff at the right price

Great food, and lovely service by the young employee. Manager could do with learning some respect and showing it towards her employees. She needs to learn to lead example, and not be so ignorant.

An amazing coordinated happy team, with well stocked shelves, which serve quickly and efficiently to keep queuing to a minimum. Don't walk out if you see a few people waiting as it won't be long before you're served here! 👍

Trying to cut down on the frequency of visiting as the food plays havoc with a low carb diet!!! Always friendly staff and great snacks, some healthier than others 😀. Avoid between 11:30-13:00 if you are starving or want to eat in as the queue is right to the door. Testament to it's popularity.

I'm a regular in Greggs. The food is lovely and really reasonably priced. The staff are fantastic, they are really polite and very friendly.

The Greg's ( at the mile end garage ) was very disappointing, bacon bap I had was cold and hard, and the hot drink was disgusting with a strange taste. Won't be going again.

Love Greg's always great when out and about shopping for lunch/brunch/afternoon tea.

Starting with a positive it’s usually clean, tidy & well presented but there are a couple of members of staff who are rude and the pastries are always cold whenever I go in, I understand you can’t reward them But at least make us aware before paying that they’re cold or tell me which ones are warm as I’m get to get a warm/ Hot one to date! Really disappointed!

Regular here,staff cheerful.Bake lovely Bread,cakes,pasties,tea,coffee.At Xmas 20 queue out the Dr,we asked for 2veggie 2vegan,2meat rolls.They were Put in 3 separate pks.Got home,couldn’t tell difference.Just saying Take a pen 😀

Clean and nice , I asked the lady at the Greggs to heat my pizza , an she said sorry no. I said okay this is last time I eat from here. I can't imagine is that hard to put the 2slices of pizza in the oven ? Or she just cannot be arsed.

Good selection of food, only suggestions is when we have hot food from the counter perhaps it could be actually hot

Good ol Greggs shop here on Church street, Oswestry. Very clean, lots of inside tables and has all the Greggs food, coffee and drinks as you would expect. Needed a "sausage roll" fix and their sausage rolls always deliver on taste and freshness.... Very friendly and welcoming staff, cheers all!

Always pop in for a sandwich to take out when in the area, great value sausage rolls too. Everywhere very clean and right in heart of the town too.

Oswestry Monday October 12th. Bought hot chocolate at 3.45. mud colour, tasted of nothing. Took it back. Told it comes through the machine ???? Given another one. Same mud colour/taste. Suggest you recalibrate your machine to give a decent cup of chocolate. Will not be returning.

Stopped to buy a sandwich/roll - all very fresh and tasty, had the Bavarian slice and was really tasty. Pack of 4 sausage rolls for £3 very good value. All very clean and right in centre of town.

I have been at Greggs Oswestry today, awful service! What a rude behaviour! If this lady is not happy to work there just to change the job! My little boy said bye to her and she didn't even look at him! Can't give minus stars for this service, that's why 1.

My husband has been sick everytime he's eaten a sausage roll from greggs in Oswestry and l had eaten a steak slice from there last as its normally warm other time l have been in there . So from that l want be eating in there again 🤮🤮

Helpful and polite members of staff. A variety of choice in the products that are sold in the shop and reasonable priced too. The only downside is when i sometimes visit,only one staff member will be serving even though there is a queue of customers.

Outstanding service - I left my coffee on the counter and realised 30 mins later - I rang to ask if I could pop back and collect. They went one better and made me a fresh one and didn’t make me wait in line - amazing. thank you for all your hard work

The tea was disgusting! So much milk, it was a flipping milkshake! If you like cold, milky, grey tea; greggs Oswestry is the place for you. The woman who made my tea put the flipping milk in first for Christ’s sake! No stirring either! Disgraceful! CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!!!!😡

Fairly typical Greggs, frienfly staff, all the usual choice of snacks, drinks and meal deals you would expect to find in this establishment.

What a complete disappointment! First time since lock down and will be the last. Went In for a baguette and cornish pasty. A youngish lad served me, whilst all the time talking to an older lady, very bad customer set e!! The pasty was freezing cold, couldn't eat it!! The baguette was OK. Won't be buying anything from here again. Staff were rude!!

Very good selection of breads, cakes and sandwiches to eat in or takeaway - very easy to find on main street in Oswestry.

Staff could have been more cheery. Food was the usual Greggs standard but was pleased with the overall service and food.

When I go shopping in Oswestry and I am feeling a little peckish I always head here for a quick coffee and a chicken bake. The place is clean, busy, the staff are friendly and there is a wide choice of things to eat both sweet and savoury. There is also a large choice of things to eat on the go too or take back to the office. Well worth a visit

Bought a few ready made sandwiches for lunch Very good value and plenty of choice. Hot pies,pasties and sausage rolls available too. Shop all very clean and staff are so freindly, Centrally loacted right in the middle of the town centre area.

Lovely food cafe could be a little cleaner though glad they have takeaway cups as cant use other peoples cups .

It is a small area which mainly deals with in and out orders caters for children who come in after school the food and drinks are good

I go here at least once a week and the staff are in general fantastic, very friendly and helpful. If Nicole is working then there’s always a song in the air too! The food is always nice, especially the hot pastries. For £2.35 you can’t go wrong with a sausage and bacon bap with a cappuccino! Good work everyone!

Went in at Lunch time in the week and all that was available were sausage and bean melts and sausage rolls, not what I wanted but I was hungry so asked for these. Apparently the sausage rolls had already been sold. Didn't know you could reserve food at Gregg's!!? Awful service, awful planning by the staff not to have anything available at lunch. Walked out and took my money elsewhere.

Any Gregg's I visited had the same quality of good food and friendly staff.

I had some time to spare so popped into Greggs for a coffee. I was greeted by a friendly young lady at the counter who served me a cappuccino. The tables in the centre were a bit cramped. There were some more comfortable seats along the wall but all were taken. The coffee was tasty and I enjoyed it. However, my enjoyment was marred by the shop playing a radio station that played rap music - not a genre I care for. I realise that this is my own personal opinion but it will prevent my visiting again.

My wife and I enjoy Greggs and have been to many around the UK when we travel as we are always guaranteed a good breakfast snack. We visited the Oswestry branch today and faced the most unfriendly staff out of all the Greggs we have visited over the years. The staff told us in no uncertain terms that we were not allowed to eat the multi pack of sausage rolls we had picked up for a snack for our daughters inside the cafe with our coffee and rolls and made a big deal over using 2 tills to take a combined eat in and a take out order. They were impatient whilst we decided what we wanted to eat and drink and even sighed when I accidentally dropped a pound coin when handing over payment! We were watched like hawks throughout our breakfast just in case we decided to take a nibble. We were glad to leave and most certainly will not be visiting Greggs Oswestry again. Greggs management should really sort out the attitude of the staff at this store.

The service is really good and there food is amazing.

My wife and I were meeting with our daughter and we decided to have a steak slice at Gregg's before we met up usually at our local Gregg's in Tamworth the food is usually hot but the Gregg's in Oswestry the food was cold the queue was out the door so we couldn't go back in to complain so rather than eat the slice we threw them in the bin and found a small bakery around the corner and purchased a fresh cooked and hot slice they need to get there act together as I will not be using this shop again

Only problem is staffs attitude dirty floor worn out seats

Went in after 2pm for a hot drink still a good choice of hot food the sandwiches were low but that did not matter to us we went for hot food and drink and got what we wanted

Went in to Greggs today as usely get good service but today I was disappointed with the service as I was pushed into buying something I didn't want and had to argue with one of the lady's there over this she wouldn't stop asking after me saying no about it six times and was extremely rude and had to buy the items to shut her up when we went to eat our what was ment to be hot food was cold seconds after being given it. now if that's the costumer service people get then there gonna be going out of business very soon!.
