Greggs in Brighton and Hove

Freshly made sandwiches, Good value and reasonable price. Very convenient to train station and prompt service but the shop is a bit messy.

I recently visited Greggs on Queen's Road in Brighton to buy something to eat and I was followed inside Greggs by one of the beggers from outside. This man was demanding that I purchase him something from within the store. I feel sorry for the young staff having to deal with this....you would have thought that Greggs head office would stop people demanding food aggressively in this way, particularly within the store. I understand that this is a sad situation but equally it would be very frightening if it were to happen to a female or a younger customer.

Can't beat £3.35 for a bacon roll and coffee for breakfast. It's not gourmet but hits the spot.

I haven't been to any of the 3 greegs in my town Eastbourne yet will eventually. But i tried the chicken bake in this greegs next to Brighton station yesterday really fast service and the chicken bake was really good always loved greegs best bakery in uk and saw some other interesting things in greegs like chicken strips with wedges👍

Could have been a bit cleaner lot of rubbish On floor toilets needed cleaning but they were busy

today i was having a bad day and then jack offered me a drink for 55p and sauces with my meal which i’ve never been offered before despite getting this meal before and he was really lovely and sweet and improved my day

driver couldnt speek english or understand it..gave me someone elses order and after chaceing him down for right food it was cold..whole point of hot food is ..you get it hot.

Had at least 3 people working, one out the back, 2 out front, however only 1 of them was serving. Ridiculous as they looked confused and unhelpful. Slow which made everyone irritable.

I've just stood in a queue for 20 minutes for my order whilst watching 1 food delivery guy after the next walk strait past us all to the front and not have to wait! Ridiculous!

Food cold when arriving also coffee spilled all over food

cold when it arrived. watched courier disappear off into Hove and stop somewhere for ten minutes before my delivery. tipped the courier as well 😕

Delivery driver sound as anything, and Greggs perfect, and neat packaging.

Charged me for two bakewell tarts and didn't send them. Had to request a refund from Justeat as one wasn't given by Greggs.

Pretty dead looking store tbh but besides the sweets are nice sausage roll is a bit bland but it's ok vegan ones slap tho. I think any of the bakes are ok as long as you get them within 10min of them being out the oven except the pizza it's actually better cold or a bit warm somehow tastes like nothing when it's hot lol as for the drinks very mediocre syrups help a bit.

I have been very disturbed to witness theives feeling free to openly steal from the displays and no action taken by staff. Gregs should immediately bring in a bouncer to deter and stop this. It's a trend with other food stores as well.

Bacon Baguette awful bacon was just fat and rind

Not the couriers fault, I ordered at 8.30am and my order was only ready for the courier to collect at 11:15. That’s an A&E style wait for just a breakfast baguette!!

The courier was super fast and very friendly and affable which made it a very pleasant experience 😀

Greggs in southend & Brighton usually have food there. Staff & food ok.

Conveniently close to the Train Station. I love the later opening hours, as I normally visit before a Night shift The food is always of good quality, and the service is always prompt. The staff were friendly and helpful and the store was very clean.

Time keeped changing going down up and then up again it took ages for it to come and when it did everything was cold and the bagguet was hard and the meat dry... I love greegs and have orderd many times but this time it was not good at all very disappointing.

Good place for a quick snack and a cuppa...great sausage rolls.

Amazing, everything came hot and tightly secured to stop anything from spilling, would recommend

Grabbed a fresh pastie from Gregg's. The pastry was great but the pastie was nearly cold. Service was good.

Every item that I ordered I didn’t get I got a completely different order and didn’t even ring me to tell me about my order this is nothing I ordered

This is most definitely the dirtiest store I am ever seen The bins inside the store are overflowing with packets and cups lying all over the floor The tables I wont even mention as they were disgusting filthy and there was no one cleani g at all DO NOT EAT IN HERE OR IF YOU DO AT YOUR OWN PERIL

Food was great so this complaint isn’t for the greggs team, I received my order almost 2:30 hours late I order at about 14:50 and received my food at 17:11 when my promise time was 15:20 and this was because the driver didn’t pick up my food.

Some how the sausage was missing from my bacon and sausage roll and there was ketchup in a roll with no sauce.

Cold food. Slow service. Complete lack of breakfast items.

The worst order ever over an hour. The guy was walking couldn’t read his own map despite calls saying where to go!!!! Everything cold. Hot chocolate barely any left and cold. Not good enough at all.

Initial delivery time slipped as did the second estimate! When the food was delivered the hot food was on top of the caramel slices so the chocolate and caramel was melted. Not the worst thing in the world but not great!

Drinks where spilt but driver was very apologetic food is always good

Compared to London where 6 servers will struggle with 2 customers, this greggs is amazing.

Went here today with 2 friends at around 4pm and was served by a young woman who was incredibly rude. She heaved a big sigh when having to get my change, and after serving my two friends after me, she looked at me and said “what are you waiting for?” with such attitude it genuinely shocked myself and my friends. I told her that she forgot to give me my food i ordered- she got my food for me but was giving me the dirtiest looks the whole time. We decided not to eat inside the store because of the miserable atmosphere she created. She was on shift with another young man but he was fine. She quickly left the till and abruptly went into the kitchen.

order took over 2 hours and arrived cold with items missing. I want a full refund please

Shockingy awful hot pastries barely warm

Utterly terrible greggs put our 2 hot breakfast rolls inside a bag with 3 ice cold drinks literally sitting on top of them, food freezing cold also ordered hash browns and got sausage roll instead???

Went there yesterday and there was long queue literally from the doorstep. Was waiting about 10 mins to be served and only one person serving customers,’the other one looked like picking up the orders online. Because the queue wasn’t getting smaller I have asked the male who was preparing the online orders to serve on the till but he went very aggressive “that he is not standing but doing his job” which I never said that he was standing I just politely asked if he can serve people waiting in the queue for quite long! I found his response very rude and aggressive which I didn’t expect to receive. This male has definitely no idea how to deal with customers! Awful behavior.. won’t be back there again..

Ridiculous queue as always stretching out to the door, gave up in the end and left. One poor staff member serving everybody, another preparing what I assume to be online orders, Maybe hire another member of staff at breakfast peak trading times? I know the food is cheap but there is no excuse for queues this long and its like this everyday, don’t think I’ll bother anymore. Not a great experience.

I ordered a chicken meal for one and a bag of 4 jam doughnuts. All I received was 8 individually wrapped jam doughnuts. What???? If some of my items were not available why was I not made aware?

Lovely & friendly staff and usually great food!! However, I visit 5 days a week, and almost every time I'm in there, someone will steal food, and very easily. They are often very rude to the other customers and arent afraid to barge you out of the way and because they get away with stealing each time, it keeps them coming back, which just makes it feel quite unsafe to visit ☹️ I think its happened one too many times now that I may have to go somewhere else from now on

No stars for delivery as it was over 2hours late and some bits was missing Will never order again

An hour and half for 2 breakfast baguettes (as well as some donuts which were likely already sat in the window) and after the wait one of them was wrong.

Greggs didn’t have the lucozade ordered but kindly replaced with lucozade orange instead, which wasn’t a problem!

Took longer than should have been from when ordered, but I assumed greggs were busy, so no fault of the driver, who was professional and polite.

Greggs this ain't your fault I'm sorry for the review I really am but I ordered £20 of food to watch the footie with, and the driver never delivered it who ever picked up my order to deliver it to my address has stolen it I will never use just eat again. I have cctv that no driver has arrived, thankfully just eat has refunded the full amount. But the driver should be ashamed of himself. Never again.....

I waited 2 hrs for 2 coffee just eat driver wad NOT on scooter he was in car and he turned off tracking

Food took an hour to be delivered. The driver waited at the restaurant for half an hour - how can it take so long to bag up things that are on the counter. nothing even has to be cooked. horrendous service. thoroughly disappointed in greggs

Hour and a half delivery, cold food and dreadful customer service, couldn’t even get a full refund.

First of all the a person a greggs rang me up and explained there were no Caramel shortcakes left and asked if I'd like to substitute them for doughnuts - to which i accepted. Upon delivery tge driver arrived with only half of my order.. the other half missing, I rang greggs back and they had sincerely apologised and said if I placed a small order I'd be able retrieve my missing items and they'd put extras in as compensation.. an hour and 25 minutes later, nothing?!?! I'm still sat here waiting.. and when I attempted to call them up (Yet again) to get an update on the order, they are refusing to answer the phone now?! Very poor service!

Only downside the 2 x ring doughnuts were missing !!

Delivery driver went to wrong address. Was lucky that I happened to open the door and saw him doing so in time otherwise order would have been lost.

We were in Brighton on Saturday. It was very hot and busy. Maddie was in the shop on her own but despite this she worked really hard, making all efforts to serve the customers as quickly as possible and with a smile. Well done! :)

Good range of vegetarian options

best Greggs in town. Always greeted with smiling faces, especially from supervisor ed! Food is Greggs :)

Although I have always loved Gregg's since they brought out the vegan sausage roll, the Queens Road store's estimation has gone down a lot in my eyes. I always ordered two vegan sausage rolls and two vegan pies before but a few days ago, the new "Mexican style" pies (the others were discontinued due to not being popular??) were less than a hit and both were cold and frankly tasted boring. The two vegan sausage rolls I asked for were the last ones displayed and they too were cold but also the pastry was dry and hard. I even asked if I could have just one so as to leave one for another customer but was told that a whole tray of steaming hot freshly baked ones were ready! Next time I am not going to try to be courteous and simply insist on two of the piping hot fresh ones. Gregg's really dropped the ball on this sale with me!

Never showed up after 1.5hrs wait !!! No option to call anyone and now the order it's saying delivered but there is nothing delivered

I am i xchicken and bacon baguette short on the order apart from that all present and correct please can you arrange for the baguette to be delivered before 1pm today

Has to be one of the best Greggs I've been to, can sometimes take a while when ordering multiple drinks and food items, but this one has a kitchen area where the fresh basin rolls were made, which allowed the server to concentrate on the drinks, which sped up the whole process

Unfortunately my drink was spilt but delivery was quick and food still hot! The lady that delivered was very apologetic regarding drink. Great delivery

our hot chocolates came smashed and got all our order wet we couldnt eat anything it was all covered in hot chocolate. demand a full refund

Was down to missing driving unacceptable I had to get a flight

1 bacon baguette had ketchup in it and I didn't ask for ketchup, I had to throw it away as don't eat ketchup. The omelette and bacon baguette didn't have extra bacon, it only had 2 peices.

The hot food was stone cold the bacon was cold and like rubber totally disgusting

They never have any sandwiches made up to buy before 9am, the shelves are always empty, any passing trade can't get any sandwiches on your way to work, if you ask they will make them but it makes no sense to have no sandwiches made ready to buy before 9am.

One of my favourite was cheese and onion pastry.

Waited ages and then they forgot half our order.

Late delivery but not the drivers fault. Restaurant took ages to prepare 2 items that should of been on hand. I can appreciate the Restaurant might of been busy but I had somewhere to be and thought it should be a quick task as it's Greggs.

Why does the menu state 4 doughnuts plus 4 free but you don't get the free ones with delivery

Sadly no coffee's,apologies from the delivery guy, stating they had tipped over in his bag due to condition of the roads ( he was on a bike bless him)said he would report missing drinks
