I have been very disturbed to witness theives feeling free to openly steal from the displays and no action taken by staff. Gregs should immediately bring in a bouncer to deter and stop this. It's a trend with other food stores as well.

Greggs in southend & Brighton usually have food there. Staff & food ok.

Conveniently close to the Train Station. I love the later opening hours, as I normally visit before a Night shift The food is always of good quality, and the service is always prompt. The staff were friendly and helpful and the store was very clean.

Good place for a quick snack and a cuppa...great sausage rolls.

Grabbed a fresh pastie from Gregg's. The pastry was great but the pastie was nearly cold. Service was good.

This is most definitely the dirtiest store I am ever seen The bins inside the store are overflowing with packets and cups lying all over the floor The tables I wont even mention as they were disgusting filthy and there was no one cleani g at all DO NOT EAT IN HERE OR IF YOU DO AT YOUR OWN PERIL

Cold food. Slow service. Complete lack of breakfast items.

Compared to London where 6 servers will struggle with 2 customers, this greggs is amazing.

Went here today with 2 friends at around 4pm and was served by a young woman who was incredibly rude. She heaved a big sigh when having to get my change, and after serving my two friends after me, she looked at me and said “what are you waiting for?” with such attitude it genuinely shocked myself and my friends. I told her that she forgot to give me my food i ordered- she got my food for me but was giving me the dirtiest looks the whole time. We decided not to eat inside the store because of the miserable atmosphere she created. She was on shift with another young man but he was fine. She quickly left the till and abruptly went into the kitchen.

Shockingy awful hot pastries barely warm

Went there yesterday and there was long queue literally from the doorstep. Was waiting about 10 mins to be served and only one person serving customers,’the other one looked like picking up the orders online. Because the queue wasn’t getting smaller I have asked the male who was preparing the online orders to serve on the till but he went very aggressive “that he is not standing but doing his job” which I never said that he was standing I just politely asked if he can serve people waiting in the queue for quite long! I found his response very rude and aggressive which I didn’t expect to receive. This male has definitely no idea how to deal with customers! Awful behavior.. won’t be back there again..

Ridiculous queue as always stretching out to the door, gave up in the end and left. One poor staff member serving everybody, another preparing what I assume to be online orders, Maybe hire another member of staff at breakfast peak trading times? I know the food is cheap but there is no excuse for queues this long and its like this everyday, don’t think I’ll bother anymore. Not a great experience.

Lovely & friendly staff and usually great food!! However, I visit 5 days a week, and almost every time I'm in there, someone will steal food, and very easily. They are often very rude to the other customers and arent afraid to barge you out of the way and because they get away with stealing each time, it keeps them coming back, which just makes it feel quite unsafe to visit ☹️ I think its happened one too many times now that I may have to go somewhere else from now on

Someone should buy this lot a watch . Quite often late open . Not a word of apology ever . No interest in the fact that others work to a timetable .

We were in Brighton on Saturday. It was very hot and busy. Maddie was in the shop on her own but despite this she worked really hard, making all efforts to serve the customers as quickly as possible and with a smile. Well done! :)

Although I have always loved Gregg's since they brought out the vegan sausage roll, the Queens Road store's estimation has gone down a lot in my eyes. I always ordered two vegan sausage rolls and two vegan pies before but a few days ago, the new "Mexican style" pies (the others were discontinued due to not being popular??) were less than a hit and both were cold and frankly tasted boring. The two vegan sausage rolls I asked for were the last ones displayed and they too were cold but also the pastry was dry and hard. I even asked if I could have just one so as to leave one for another customer but was told that a whole tray of steaming hot freshly baked ones were ready! Next time I am not going to try to be courteous and simply insist on two of the piping hot fresh ones. Gregg's really dropped the ball on this sale with me!

Has to be one of the best Greggs I've been to, can sometimes take a while when ordering multiple drinks and food items, but this one has a kitchen area where the fresh basin rolls were made, which allowed the server to concentrate on the drinks, which sped up the whole process

Often a queue, need to have more staff on shift

They never have any sandwiches made up to buy before 9am, the shelves are always empty, any passing trade can't get any sandwiches on your way to work, if you ask they will make them but it makes no sense to have no sandwiches made ready to buy before 9am.

One of my favourite was cheese and onion pastry.

We ask about slice pizza and the staff behind counter say it is going to take 10mins, we wait 40 minute then asked the staff again how long more we needed to wait and they said another 20 minutes. Worst place to buy snacks!

Perfect for a hurried solo stroll-in to grab the quickest coffee and a fluffy fresh doughnut. They were down to only one till with typical festive-season fun-n-games, and a never ending throng of eager customers for steadily serviced with zero irk or complaint from any of us, they were packed and struggling with technical limitations but the lady staff member was a true delight and did her workplace proud. Seamless integration of my needs to scan 2 separate O2 priority vouchers to get my freebies, curved my error like a meticulously-polite champion and never skipped a beat. Error-and-all I was in-and-out in under 6 minutes. Best Gregg's I've been to in southern England. Good job guys.

Limited breakfast combo with coffee, it will be good if staff can help to warm up other cold sandwich for more options to customers.

A Greggs so the food is frankly nothing special, the other reviews will claim that its the world's greatest eating establishment but its alright.

This shop is just at walking distance from the Brighton station. The food is fresh , good quality and quantity. The prices are moderate. The service is quick. The staff is polite and helpful. The baked goodies are really good in taste and small amazing ! The coffee is good too. They have a small indoor seating area. The entrance is not wheelchair or stroller accessible. The place is clean and hygienic. There is generally a small queue during weekends.

Ordered online from here twice, both times they forgot items of our order. Called them to chase getting a replacement on the most recent, and whoever answered the phone seemed more intent on accusing us of trying to get something for free than sorting the problem. Dropped herself in it and realised it was her mistake, as she packed the order wrong, but still refused to replace the item. Thoroughly unhelpful. Issue not remotely resolved.

Selling food as a hot and I received totally cold. And it's not a delivery issue or delay. This food definitely never was in the oven. Poor service. Never go there again

A couple of minutes from the train station. Nice clean Greggs with a good selection of cakes and hot pastries. Really friendly staff that were welcoming and offered great service.

Great service today. Got a pizza slice and the girl getting it got the most perfect slice. She's a keeper. Give her a raise Gregg, come on son.

One of the best additions to Queens Road in the last 9-12 months. Use there frequently as work just up the road from there.. ☺

Ok I admit it - I was a Gregg's breakfast virgin until this visit - but I was impressed... £2.25 for a sit in bacon roll, drink, and wifi. What's not to like!

A bit pikey. Greasy, salty food but an end to a means.

Good food at very reasonable price. Can be a little busy in the morning when they only have one person serving, but service is usually pretty quick.
