Coffee sausage rolls and empire biscuits all good service good had to wait for a table. Only thing I could say bad cobwebs hanging from the roof toilet not very clean. Tables not cleared by staff after customers have left.

Wondered why the lovely lady was so keen to not let me see my pizza before handing it to me! That’s supposed to be a pepperoni pizza; or severe lack of. Pretty pissed off is an understatement. I kind of feel I’m partly to blame, next time I’ll make sure I see my food before leaving.

Easy to see why Greggs is such a success. Great food at great prices. Somewhere to sit and friendly staff. Shame about the uninviting face mask signs.

It is not uncommon to see a shop or cafe with a notice demanding masks must be worn. Inconsistent with anti covid laws and anti disability discrimination laws these signs are illegal and unwelcoming. Why not a polite “Please wear a face covering if you are not exempt “? Lovely friendly welcoming helpful staff let down by idiots at head office. Great food at a great price.

Prices on the board says breakfast baguette and drink £3.35, and nice pic of full breakfast baguette, which in my eyes is egg bacon, sausage, like the picture , but no, in there eyes this is one item, so it should say, bacon baguette or sausage baguette or egg baguette, this to me is diseaving. So they call a hot dog a breakfast baguette.

Before heading for the main event of the day (my granddaughter's graduation) we stopped off in Gregg's for a quick snack. It has been a long time since I had visited Gregg's and i was more than impressed by the range of food and drinks on offer. We arrived at lunch time and although the place was very busy we were served quickly and found ourselves comfortable seated to enjoy our delicious baguettes and drinks.

We stopped at Greggs for tea before leaving St. Andrews. It’s a restaurant that you order at the cashier, pay, and bring your foods and drinks to find a table to sit at. It suited us as we didn’t have enough time to stay at a full service restaurant for afternoon tea. There’s a Starbucks across the street but of course we wanted a local eatery!

Visited this place both mornings during our short break and the filled rolls with bacon, sausage, lorne or omelette are delicious and also great value. A hot drink can be added for only 25p extra. Sit in is also available and it sure beats cooking if you're staying in a holiday home.

Not happy! Greggs is your standard place to get a quick snack whilst out shopping or sightseeing if you don't want a full bar lunch. The prices relate to this, however a latte and a double roll (the choice of 2 things, bacon and egg or bacon and square etc.) has just been increased by 25p. Now they are £2.25 and yes you will pay more than that just for a latte in most other places but that's not the point. Less bacon smaller sausages and rolls and a 25p price hike, think I will be buying elsewhere at dinnertime.

I was recently working in the Perth area with a business associate and at lunch we decided to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. The person I was with was lactose intolerant so knew what coffee to get from Costa, we bought our Costa coffee and headed over to Greggs as I like the selection. I sat down on the stool with the small bunker and my associate grabbed the food as I had bought the coffee. As I walked in the lady behing the counter gave me a strange look but I didn't think anything of it. So the man I'm with goes and spends £12 on our lunch as is informed that if we were sitting in it would be an extra 20% on top. Please note we both had coffees and were in no way hiding this fact. So he comes and sits down and no more than ten seconds pass before the same woman comes over and tells us we can't drink Costa coffee in the shop. I also get that, my problem is that she had numerous chances to let us know that this was the case before 1: charging more and 2: embarrassing us. To me I feel it was petty and a little bit malicious and it honestly ruined my lunch. A couple more things, there was nobody else there so it wasn't like we were stopping other customers sitting down. Charging 20% per item to sit in a wind tunnel with a member of staff gleefully scowling at us as if we had personally slagged off her beloved grandchildren I think you are off your rocker Greggs, your shops are not a comfortable place to be and I will Never sit in again or return to your establishment. I hope this lady is happy that she didn't need to clean up after us and the only advice I would give her would be to get whatever chip that is on her shoulder off. Pathetic and embarrassing behaviour from a woman old enough to know better. Very poor Greggs Very Very poor

Popped in here just for a light breakfast before commencing on another day trip tour of the town.First impressions were that the staff were polite and friendly.I chose a bacon and cheese wrap and opted to sit in the café to eat. There were a good few customers about buying food and drinks to take out, and some were sitting in, even early on in the morning. To sum up, the food was good, very good value for money, and if you are on a fairly tight budget then Greggs might just suit and fulfil your needs.I would certainly have no hesitation about visiting again.

Cheapest place in St Andrews for a light lunch you can get a latte, sausage roll and a apple danish for under a four pounds. There is alot of healthy foods to choose from as well as soup and cold drinks. In the mornings you can get a hot drink and a morning roll with bacon, sausage, egg or square on it for £2. The servers behind the counter today, Saturday, were polite, well presented and very cheerfull. There is seating and tables available but there is a 20per cent charge to eat in, no charge for take out.

I regularly eat here as it is cheap and cheerful. The staff are friendly and sometimes under pressure but they do a great job. The food is typical Greggs fair which is tasty and cheap. They offer some very good deals. The only problem is that sometimes they get so full of students and local schoolkids that the staff are under pressure and do not have time to clear the tables but it does get done when the rush is over. I really like it here.

Firstly, the place was absolutely manky. It's was filthy, the public area was dirty with food etc and the toilet was really, really bad. Secondly the staff were polite and apologised immediately about how dirty the place during was. We popped in for a shared Thai checked sandwich and spicy chicken and sweetcorn soup which were both very tasty indeed. We understand how busy you will be with students etc but it doesn't have to be this bad. Overall though great value but at what cost?

Went into Gregg's last Thursday for a quick lunch. Very smart refurbishment so expectations were high. Unfortunately not. Long queues, no trays to put all your stuff on till you got to the counter, nor a plate to put a cake on. All the tables were grubby and had not been wiped down, and the floor was filthy. There's obviously not enough staff as the girls struggled to get everyone served, but no-one appeared on the restaurant area to check up on things there. We won't be back, and felt the 'old' Gregg's was much cleaner and more efficient.
