Greggs in Colchester

Didn’t open on time, no selection of sandwich’s or wraps (flat bread roll). Staff late. Website shows 0600hrs opening, if you are going to be late post a message on your site!!

Horrible and not expected. Bacon roll had more ketchup than bacon, porridge was stodgy and very little water put in and two lattes watery. Disappointing!

This must be the worst experience in Greggs feering on the A12 .first when asked about the steak slice are they hot !! Yes was said!! Big lie.stone cold. Can I have a ketchup ? No ketchup. Do you put ketchup on your breakfast rolls? Reply yes . The guy should not be serving here . No customer service. No personality. Would I go back to a Greggs . No unless I was in a desert starving

Visited at 3pm on Tuesday 27th June . Closing time of store 4pm . Were told could not sit inside and in fact they had packed away all the table and chairs and were also packing away all the outside table and chairs . We were given two chairs reluctantly to sit outside with hot coffee and no table . We are in our 70’s and had no choice but to put our coffees on the concrete ! At 3.30pm I went in to use the toilet only to find the door blocked by table and chairs . Instead of them moving them I was told I would have to go to the Coop to use there’s . My need to use the toilet was urgent and needless to say I couldn’t get to the toilet in another store that I hadn’t been in and didn’t know where to find it . Customer service in this branch of Greggs is non existent . My advice . Do not go there .

Busy Greggs outlet. Nice outdoor area for dogs. Staff need to wipe surfaces more often would you eat off a dirty table?
