Greggs in Birmingham

I never thought I’d find myself writing a review about Greggs, but here I am 🤷. I was taken aback by the unbothered attitude of a female staff member during my visit. When my friend asked about the deal in their purchase, they were unnecessarily cold and unbothered. To add to this, she threw the sweet treat on the counter with such dismissiveness that, although it may not have been intentional, it contributed to the overall unpleasant experience. This stood in stark contrast to the usual service provided by the two male staff members, who are always friendly and helpful. I hope this feedback encourages better training for all staff, particularly around product knowledge and customer interaction. A little friendliness goes a long way ❤️

Agree with other reviewers, only the Asian guy server is extremely unpleasant.

food order was completely wrong and the food was cold by the time it arrived due to it being placed in the same bag as the cold drinks. usually orders from here are good quality but I feel really let down on this occasion

As the manager told me she's the manager As a customer I walk into the shop to the manager talking to another customer a private talk BTW about a key for the shop had wait over 10 mins for another staff member to seve me to which she didn't listen my orde lr correctly as she was talking to sed manger whole talking my order I then pay which the manger yokk payment for the staff member to say " have u not paid ??? " now the manger and the staff are too busy chatting and not listening to customers wat are customers meant to do then the manger proceeds to say I'm rude I'm in this greggs everyday the normal especially the tall lad are brilliant this manger sucks

orange juice arrived room temperature which wasn't great considering they didn't have far to travel but the food was good

cashier was making a big deal out of his religion saying that it isn't a sausage roll and trying to lecture me? I just wanted my sausage roll, not useless venting. Anyhow, sausage roll was alright, not good nor bad.

After booking it was an hour & 10 minutes before we got the food

my delivery driver was stood outside with my food in his hands no bag to keep warm and it's _4 here today so I now have cold food

The delivery took over 20 minutes to arrive from Greggs..it's a 10 minute walk...the food was cold when it arrived

we ordered early in the morning and we recieved very fresh and still hot food. It was soo good the family wanted order again the following morning. Great quality and service. Thank you.

Usually the food is of good quality, but this time the pizza and wedges were overcooked and the bakes were cold. Disappointing.

I spent over £10 today at greggs. I asked for an extra dip and was even willing to pay for it, I was refused repeatedly by an Asian man. The other members of staff usually have no problems. I am a very regular customer to this branch and I feel very let down.

First and last time ordering 1 pasty was missing if none were left you could have sent another 1 of a different flavour I already ordered. Idiots working there, obviously!!!!!

We ordered about 11:30 and only received this order at 1:25. We rang lots of times but no communication of what was happening.

Was waiting for the orchestra at the nearby concert all. The costa opposite was not yet open so thank God this was open . It’s Gregg’s so you know what you will get. Staff was friendly , unfortunately they didn’t haven’t any cash change so need to pay by card. We stayed a while and they was ok. Cheaper alternative to costa across the road,

Forgot half my food. Has happened multiple times.

Ordered food and they only gave half of it, try calling and they didn’t answer absolutely fuming, not enough food for my family to eat

Staff were attentive and friendly and our take-away food was sorted quickly, though we did see a few people waiting for their orders even though it didn't seem that busy. We didn't stay long but it looked clean and tidy and will be happy to stop by again next time I get a craving for a Greggs sausage roll!

Ordered donuts very delicious so fresh and tasty . We had few guests we thought let them Greggs bakes the best donuts and not forgetting other items I would advise to order any one order from Greggs the donuts you cannot fault them

Ordered muffins Double chocolate muffin was very moist not dry and very tasty not forgetting the new cinnamon muffin they were tasty with hint of cinnamon taste good with a cup of tea do order try for your self from Greggs

I'm a regular customer of Greggs. They are very prompt and the food is great. There was an issue today with the delivery and they contacted me. They were very polite and sorted it all out. I'm really pleased. I would definitely keep ordering from them.

The bacon was really overdone, hurt my teeth to bite into it.

Always excellent! 5* The delivery drivers are always lovely! The food is always hot! The drinks are packaged up very safely to avoid spillages, which is great for the drivers and the customers. Shows that Greggs care. I always order from this branch because I trust it. Never had a bad experience. Thank you once again.

Second time this happens. Today 35 min late, last time several hours. Needless to say there's no clear way to complain or request any compensation. Hard to avoid the impression that these big companies have nothing but contempt for their customers.

10/10 management and customer service! There was a mistake made with my order today so I went back disappointed. A staff member who I see there regularly when I go in who I can only assume is a manager was fantastic! Quickly rectified the situation and has always been great whenever I've seen her there. An absolute credit to Greggs!

Yes, that's right it is my choice to buy food from you but if i am spending money on it for your service so it doesn't mean that i can't get it, it's your responsibility to give good service & quality food to everyone who choose your food and give you money.... If you can't make it warm or bit hot then no meaning to buy and spent any money on you........

Half the time good half the time really annoying. Now stopping ordering coffee from there because last 3 times it’s been crusted on the top and today they forgot 2 packs off sausage rolls. Don’t ask me to leave a 6* review if you haven’t checked your order correctly because you might not like the review you get instead

Food arrived earlier than expected which was great. Also the food was very hot when it arrived and also the service was amazing.

I didn't collect anything, things weren't in stock, greggs said I need to sort it with just eat and not them. No refund given as apparently I collected it!

Love ordering from here but lately they keep sending me the wrong items last time i ordered it was they sent me coffee instead of hot chocolate now they've sent me 4 muffins instead of the triple chocolate doughnuts i'd asked for. If they keep sending me wrong items i'm just not gonna order from here anymore. At least double check items before sending them off to the customer, and if you don't have the items i asked for - take the time to call your customer to let them know instead of sending them substitutes, thank you.

They gave me coffee instead of Hot Chocolate with my Regular Breakfast deal.

Between 8:00-9:00 pm there is never hot food. Pointless and Silly, as it is in the heart of Aston University Campus and next to Local Government buildings. Who wants a cold pasty or sausage roll in the morning before work. This is easily one of the busiest times of day. Greggs should review the management at this location and implement measures to fix this.

My steak bake was hard, burnt and inedible. Not impressed.

Can't beat a greggs can you. However do not come here at 7:45; you will be waiting almost 15mins for a sausage roll, the lines are crazy.

I did not receive one of the drinks. It was a caramel latte. We order from this Greggs every Sunday morning and the order is never correct there is always things missing, the service is poor and they never have any egg!
