Greggs in South Staffordshire

As a truck driver I use Greggs all over the country’ today I went into Greggs at the Hilton park services on the M6 south bound’. I ordered a large tea’ and asked the girl there, could you please put 2 teabags in the cup’ as the tea is a bit weak at times’ but the girl said to me’ sorry you’ll have to pay another £1.75 please’ Really I said. Don’t bother, how much does a tea bag cost? 5 p silence 😳 Apart from that I love Greggs’ good value and most of the staff are very friendly. John 👍

Went for a hot chocolate with partner (coffee). Staff very friendly.

I have a free snack and drink expiring yesterday and thought I would use it up. I picked up a snack and headed to the till for a hot drink. The young chap bwhing the counter tried to charge me £3.40 odd something for the snack although it should of been free. I just asked for the coffee instead. I was the. Told the machine wasn't working and could only get a hot chocolate although I asked as soon as I arrive i asked if the coffee machine was working and was told yes. I left with no snack and no coffee and also lost my reward from spending with them. I left the shop and thanked them for wasting my time and money and left unhappy.

Bought two 'bakes' both were cold, not fridge cold, but left out for hours room temperature. This is unsafe. Food should either be chilled or kept warm. As a result the pastry was soggy and the contents cold and tasteless. Staff were clearly 'new' to UK with no clue about how to handle food or customers. Greggs is at fault for hiring cheap African labour and not providing training or management. Greggs isn't what it once was...

I am surprised Greggs in general has so many clients. The food is bad and coffee is just coloured water.

After standing in a long queue, I was hoping to get my free coffee on the app. The lady with the nasty face said the app was down today, I paid for my coffee and left disappointed, it was clear they were just lying.

Refused to heat the sandwich up with a stupid excuse. Read all the comments about the same problem. Avoid.

Got there at 10:15, queued for 15 mins, told me when I got to the front that breakfast had stopped. I advised the woman that they still had the breakfast board up advertising it was available. Don’t know her name but she was very rude! Went to Costa instead - very friendly and helpful

Samantha was absolutely smashing it on her own, dealing with a massive queue and still giving workd class service incredible 🙂

Cold sausage rolls, cold chicken bakes, no sos an bean melts, asked the lady what food was hot because she was listing off everything as being cold. Ended up getting myself a breakfast baguette as it was either that or a vegan roll and asked for a bit of red sauce but its all dripping out the baguette because she drowned my baguette in it. Would 100% never go again

Absolutely shockingly bad! Told food wasn't hot and it had cooled down a little, it was actually freezing cold! No discount offered and server was rude! £5:20 for 2 inedible "food" Will not return.

Cold sausage rolls, couldn't even put them in the microwave when asked since you would figure sitting under a heat lamp they wouldn't be cold.

Can't leave a review because at 07.50 its still closed and no staff about.

Good food not to long od a queue polite staff

Poor customer service very aggressive. We asked for two pepperoni slices, was told there was none, so as we were looking what else she decided to try and give us cheese and tomato ones we said no three times before she listen then she dropped them on the floor. We then asked for 2 sausage and bean melts £ two sausages rolls which we had to repeat a futher twice. She was aggressive as she put our food down. All in all it has made me think twice about using the north bound greegs here never ever had a problem with the south bound.

Useless. Tried charging me twice after the manager had already got my order wrong. Wasted my free breakfast on something I didn’t want

Bought a sausage roll, chicken bake and a sausage and bean bake. When I got back to the van both the chicken bake and a sausage and bean bake were cold! Not impressed after doing a 13 of a 15 hour shift!

Awful bacon rolls. Overcooked and solid bacon in a roll. No quality control at this stores

It's greggs, mire or less the same wherever you go, at least the guy who served me was pleasant and actually smiled

Waste of space. Place was untidy, no sausage rolls, no bacon baps staff no joy. Didn't enjoy my motorway stop

I stop at this service station a lot and always nip in for a greggs unfortunately the hot counters always got bear minimal in it. And it's away cold

A Qood Quality Lunch , On The Move

Huge ques every morning. Staff is barley moving.

No rolls or baguettes made just cakes in the display cabinet

Bacon always burnt and crispy covered in fat never enough staff on duty. Only 1 Person serving so had a queue of about 20 waiting. Another staff member came out looked and disappeared back into kitchen area.

Rude staff no smiles once we had said thanks and the ham and cheese melt shoved in the bag so when opened one slice had rolled up and fallen off. Smiles and courtesy costs nothing

I can confirm after visiting North and Southbound Greggs in store and Northbound in the petrol station, pasties have always been cold in the morning.

Worst Greggs ever! No care or customer service. Impression given from staff is that they can't be bothered and not interested in anyones custom. Costa is next door, recommend you stop there instead.

The staff were nice but they dont even have the deals on that every other Gregg's has I got a baguette and a coffee and it was £5.65! I would have just gone somewhere else if I had known. Normally get the deals which is alot cheaper.

Very good food and great value for money..

E few times in row there is nothing from breakfast menu.If you see you sell out earlier maybe you should made a bit more??

Not impressed having to wait to be served as a member of there staff chatted away to a friend about some wedding and totally ignored me I gave up eventually and left.

Closed before 7pm,says 9pm online.

One of the best cake shops in most towns

Clean with friendly staff. Usual Greggs menu is available at a reasonable price. Their coffee is fairly nice. Although Costa is next to it should you prefer.

They don't keep food hot so unless you are lucky and it has just come out of the oven. If there is a pound bakery in the area I would always go there.

Greggs in the service station sell hot drinks and cold drinks, Sells pastries, pies and desserts. Toilet facilities available and seating areas. Same Greggs they also sell sandwiches and panini. Pizza slices and crisps. Have fun

They have a great allergen book that's easy to read. A lot of other food outlets could learn from Greggs. Also, the food is always so tasty.

Friendly enough staff but the sausage rolls and corn beef bake were awful - we chucked ours away. Also noticed that the 40g packet of crisps advertised that we bought for 80p per packet were actually 32.5g packs. I love Greggs normally but this one was very disappointing!
