We have been to Greenhouse on a few occasions now and it has always been phenomenal. Usually, my partner and I will choose to go to Greenhouse on a Sunday morning for breakfast, as it is our favourite breakfast spot in Powys. There is a huge variety of options to choose from and we are always leaving with very full stomachs. Greenhouse are also very happy to customise orders if there is something that isn’t specifically on the menu. I appreciate this, and the helpfulness of staff does not go unnoticed. I also really enjoy visiting here with my elderly Nan, who loves the change of scenery, and the garden centre next door allows for a lovely morning out of the house for her. The cake selections are also wonderful, and these change quite regularly so we never get bored of indulging in these. I also want to point out how wonderful the iced vanilla lattes with oat milk are. I don’t know what Greenhouse use as their secret ingredient, but it never fails to impress me. Often, I will pop into Greenhouse on my way home for this iced latte in a takeaway cup. I also prefer supporting smaller businesses for coffee, rather than the usual likes of Costa, McDonalds, or Starbucks. We are regular visitors and, of course, will be back!

We visited the Greenhouse Cafe & Kitchen whilst touring in the area and after a visit to Montgomery. The cafe is dog friendly on their covered terrace and we enjoyed the most wonderful brunch from an imaginative menu which showcases local produce. Our meals, the Greenhouse Breakfast and Bacon 'N' Greens were simply excellent in every regard and matched by attentive and friendly service! A must if you are in the area and one we shall revisit when we return.

Visited here after staying at a nearby holiday lodge park. Eggs royale was one of the best I’ve had! Great service and lots of delicious pastries too. A lovely garden shop opposite also! Would 100% come back if nearby again. Highly recommend.

This cafe had been mentioned in conversations a few times in a couple of weeks, so we decided to go for lunch with our granddaughter - not quite two - midweek. Hands up, we are NOT gardeners and so wouldn't normally be frequenting a garden centre, which is maybe why this just hadn't crossed our radar. What a lovely environment. Set to the front of the plot and separate from the garden centre buildings, this is modern and light, with a covered terrace running around two sides and easy access for wheelchairs, buggies and the less mobile. Not a huge number of covers, but a variety of seating, with room between tables for manoeuvring and, of course, the tables outside. High chairs are available and are well sized to place the child at table height (not always the case). The biggest surprise was the menu. I had done the cafe an injustice in assuming that it would be the usual fare of baked potatoes, paninis, a few burgers etc but this is not the case at all - lots of really interesting plates, bowls and salads, many with a distinctive Asian twist. My other half went for the beef burger, made with locally produced beef, and is still raving about it and hasn't chosen a burger at any setting since going to the Greenhouse, because he feels that the bar has now been set very high - juicy and full of flavour. I was tempted by the Korean dishes but, having visited Korea often, was doubtful whether they would stand up to the 'real' thing. Having now sampled other dishes on the menu, I would be confident to try them. My choice of the day was Beef Quesidella which was a substantial lunch, a tortilla folded over a mixture of minced beef, black beans, sweetcorn and cheese and served with a lime salsa and cajun potatoes, which were deep red, and covered in a warm spicy mixture. Staff kindly filled our granddaughter's bottle with fresh milk and she was happy to eat her grandfather's chips! There is an extensive, healthy children's menu, with just enough on it for little ones to feel that they are adventurous, with plenty of familiar things too. Just a great experience, and we shall definitely be back. One last plus - if you are a fan of breakfast food, the entire menu is available during serving hours, so you could indulge in a late breakfast.

Our breakfast experience at The Greenhouse Kitchen was absolutely delightful. We opted for the full breakfast, which showcased the finest local produce. It was a fantastic experience that left us eager to return. I highly recommend The Greenhouse Kitchen for a delicious, high-quality breakfast in a lovely setting.

What a place!! Truly epic food, very reasonable prices and great location. Family friendly, lovely coffee, plenty of parking, when we visited it was a very busy Bank Holiday, so you’d expect a bit of a delay, the staff worked really hard to serve everyone. Really can’t fault the people or the place. The nursery is an impressive place as well, it’s huge. This is a real find

Lovely place. Decor really nice. I had the vegetarian breakfast, was really tasty. One minor thing a jug of water would have been nice rather than the small glasses.

Sit back and enjoy good food and coffee. Everytime I visit the service is good and the food never disappoints.
