Had a nice brunch/lunch here - staff we encountered were friendly and the food was nice. We had booked a table which didn't seem to have been reserved, it was totally fine as there was only two of us and space so maybe that was why but just something to be aware of if booking as a bigger group at a busier time. But overall it's a cool place with the distressed warehouse sort of vibe.

Visited The Green Room in Leeds recently and overall had a great time. The rooftop bar is definitely the highlight – nestled between tall buildings, it feels like a bit of a hidden spot in the city. When I went, it was absolutely rammed (thanks to the good weather), so if you're hoping to get a spot up there, go early or pre-book a table to be safe. It’s certainly moved on from its previous life as a strip/lap dancing club – now it’s a much more polished and relaxed venue. That said, be prepared to queue at the bar – drinks were decent, but the wait was definitely on the long side due to how busy it was. Toilets were clean and well maintained, which was impressive given the sheer volume of people there (this was on a hot sunny Saturday). Worth a visit, especially on a sunny day – just plan ahead if you're aiming for the rooftop!

Quite a new bar in Leeds, just off City Square. Nice layout, and decent beers, but way overpriced, £6.80 a pint, is a bit too much. See attached beer menu. Also the toilets are strange, the ladies and gents merge, with just a sheet of wire mesh separating them. So the gents can see the ladies cubicles and vice versa, a weird planning decision, and people I spoke to didn't like it. Too expensive for what it is, I won't be going back.

Booked a table for lunch at the green room a few weeks ago which was useless to put it politely. There was nobody on the door or to take you to seating, so anyone could sit anywhere. This meant that it was packed on arrival & our “reserved” table was being used somewhere / not reserved at all. After failing trying to find anywhere to sit, we went to the bar to mention there was nowhere to sit & explain due to my mobility issues I can’t stand/walk for long periods of time hence why we booked. Instead of explaining that they had some sort of mix up or didn’t reserve a table at all, my group were spoken to rudely accusing us of being late when we had been in the establishment on time for over 20mins. After this we left having got no food or drink & never even being able to sit down despite booking a table for 4. Possibly the worst place I’ve been to & definitely will not be coming back Wouldn’t recommend especially if you plan to book a table or have mobility issues

This popular bar has an unusual lay out. The front of the building has become an outside seating area...with trailing plants. There are several different floors and stair cases ( not sure if there is a lift), a roof terrace & and a bbq area. Ground floor bar has unusual moving light bubbles...and quite a large brick step up to the bar area. There is a cellar bar too I think & guest bands. The design is unusual & and quirky. Exposed brick, & wood, metal beams & pipes. Lots to see ! Including unusual sinks in the toilets. Nice n' busy place, good atmosphere. City bar prices.

Incredibly slow bar service - took 40 mins to order 1 soft drink and 1 glass of prosecco and when I got to the bar I was only behind one person. Unfortunately the bar staff then chose to serve big groups of people who had all pushed in ahead of me with one group even ordering and eating their food before i’d even got my drink and i’d been there atleast 20 mins before them. Poor bar staff not recognising who is actually next in line. Really disappointed.

Really busy on a Saturday afternoon as you would hope and expect. Great atmosphere for an afternoon drink in the sun.

First time my wife and I visited today (Sunday afternoon) and although the venue looks great, the service was terrible and non existent. After 25 minutes of standing at the bar while the 3 girls served everyone but us while we were stood at the front of the que we decided to just walk out. They didn't even look up and acknowledge us. If you don't want our money, then that's fine, we'll take it to another bar who does. It's a shame as we were scouting places for a large group event and this kind of service is not what we are looking for.

Visited the bar first time today as the entrance looks lovely and the ambience seemed nice. However, we left extremely disappointed. The service was terrible (missing completely). It was a fairly quiet Sunday late afternoon. I waited at the bar at a min for 25 mins and was ignored throughout by the bar staff. People behind me, beside me, around me, all got served but I was left unacknowledged by the bar staff. I can’t be invisible to the bar staff for 25 minutes and that too standing right at the front after having respectfully joining the queue (small queue of 2 people, if that)?! Very disappointing. Obviously we decided to walk out.

I was waiting at the bar for about 20 minutes waiting for this bartender to serve me. After 15 she severed my friend and took 10 minutes to make her two simple cocktails. Then she proceeded to server her friends before me and eventually when it came to serving me she refused to serve me my cocktails because it was last orders. What absulter BS never coming back and never recommending this place get new workers who will actually do their job.

Had a class night at Green Room in Leeds! Just wanna give a special thanks to the bouncers Harry and James top blokes . Proper respectful and sound, which is rare to find these days. Good vibes all round, definitely coming back.

Went and ordered a dissarano and coke , I received a dissarano and Pepsi max after asking for coke I was forced into buy actual coke which tasted much better , be careful of there scams

Relaxed vibe, got there late dinner time as the starting point for our party and very chilled relaxed atmosphere downstairs where we got our drinks then we made our way upstairs to the cup tennis that had patio heating so very nice for socialising as not too loud upstairs so can have a nice conversation

Green room is an excellent bar that we have loved visiting. Unfortunately we had an incident whereby a bouncer was un necessarily aggresive. The other bouncers on the main door were excellent but as the bar grows it will only be as good as the staff it employs and the staff experience that they facilitate.

Thank you to the members of staff at Green Room who showed me and my friends care and compassion last night. Namely Harri the bouncer. Fantastic bar, great atmosphere.

Stumbled across this attractive little bar during a recent visit to Leeds. Only stayed for one drink which appeared at first to be tasty. The drink then returned with a vengeance. Mine came straight back out my ringer and my partners came straight back up and out her mouth. Won't be returning. I think the juice in the cocktail was off.

It's a cute spot for bigger hang out spot for sure but gosh, the tables and chairs aren't really comfortable and kinda rickety. The food was great (Korean Fried Chicken pancakes (£14) were surprisingly really good, 10/10). Tbh I would go back for those pancakes. Chorizo hash (£12) wasn't too impressive. Iced matcha was really lumpy and matcha wasn't great quality. Perhaps stick with their cocktails? Overall it was meh, probably more of a hangout spot for cocktails rather than anything else

Came here for the first time today for a drink and all I can say is the service was terrible. The bar wasn't even busy and 4 separate customers managed to get served before us. And these were customers who got to the bar after us! Me and my partner stood at the bar like lemons! The bar staff didn't even acknowledge us or even ask if we were being served. In the end we walked out and went somewhere else. I could understand this happening on a busy night but this was Sunday daytime with only a few waiting for drinks. First impressions not great

First visit to Leeds & Green room. Friendly outgoing staff, a beautiful venue & a great light lunch choice from their pop up kitchen. I will definitely be back to see its nightlife vibe whilst I’m in the city.

Best bar in Leeds hands down, always has great music and vibes but the new downstairs bar has really made sure there is something for everyone! Can't wait to come back already.

Super vibey place for drinks and a light bite to eat! You order food & drinks from the bar. There’s tons of lights and since we went during the day there was jazz music. Not too loud so you can still hear the people around you talking - which was great. It’s super cute, so great if you want to take pictures and the vibe is just really good. The food was quite simple but super tasty and we didn’t wait long at all - and it was quite busy, Saturday at 1.30ish! The staff were lovely - no one to seat you when you come in though. We had a reservation but there was no one who asked about that or reserved signs on tables - so not too sure how that works. The new bathroom situation is interesting - the ladies & gents is separated by a mesh fence/wall, with essentially a big basin in the middle. So you can see into the other bathroom and are face-to-face when using the sink. Super fun for big groups but probably not everyone’s cup of tea

Wouldn’t go back to Green Room Botty B in a hurray! Was meant to be 4:30-7:30 for £50 but ended up getting cut off for drinks at 6:30 - only got served 4 drinks max at that point as staff were so slow and the food was more of a starter than a main (and that’s pushing it). Music was good but was too loud so struggled to talk to friends the whole time. Very disappointed on the opening weekend of the new expanded area!

Everything you want in a bar. Music, atmosphere, vibes and outdoor seating in the summer. Food by B*stards Bistro too - mega.

We were thirsty and ordered drinks. They had almost everything but no fresh juices as their blender was broken. The staff were very polite and friendly. Apologetic for not being able to serve fresh juices. The bench seating is okay for a short time before it becomes very uncomfortable. Due to all the hard fixtures and furnishings, the place was very noisy even when half empty.

This has the potential to be a brilliant bar…but It’s in Leeds not Greece or Spain so it needs to work a wee bit harder at keeping the elements out!

It is a very cool place in an excellent location. My family and I (over from the Canary Islands) stayed above in one of the two beds. Highly recommend both. Hasta la Proxima

Nice looking bar upon entry. Wine was lousy. £12.80 for two medium merlots. They change them for two mediums merlots that tasted just as lousy. Left them, won't return, regardless of the nice welcoming frontage. Invest in some decent wine for your customers.

Green Room is a great bar with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The open fire creates a warm and inviting vibe, perfect for unwinding. They also have an excellent selection of drinks to suit all tastes. Highly recommend!

Dropped by Green Room on a chilly Sunday afternoon for their Sunday roast, and it mostly delivered. The cauliflower cheese? Pure magic—hands down the highlight of the meal. The truffle mash was decent, but the roast potatoes? Let’s just say they missed their crunch quota. Overall, a cozy spot with solid flavors.

A nice bar near the train station. Cocktails are reasonably priced for a city centre but very tasty! They have a terrace upstairs which is fab in the summer. There is a great atmosphere here and we will keep visiting :)

Fantastic Barcelona-esque bar. Went for some drinks for a work social. The fire pits are a great addition. Great selection of drinks and a very nice house lager.

Server gave us two non alcoholic beers and refused to refund them when I went back - very unprofessional and clearly don't care about their customers

Actully went here for a pint in the summer and the venue is great for a warm day. Bar was packed out still reasonably quick to get served. Amazing conversion on the building to make this into a fun and vibrant environment.

Received an email a week ago about a free meal for 4. We went in and were told that it has expired (no date on the email). if they’re sending out marketing about free meals they should honour them not turn us away with no good explanation

Love this place anyway, but love it even more due to the experience with the staff! Last night we were at Green Room (all young women), there was a guy at the bar harassing us. He then got kicked out of the bar by staff. When we left later on, the creepy guy was still outside and me and my friends said we felt uncomfortable walking past him as he was waving and smiling at us. The bouncers overheard this and walked us to the bar we were going to next which was like a 10 minute walk. Very happy that women's safety is clearly a priority at this bar! Would recommend to all my friends, great drinks staff and all round lovely place!!! Thanks green room for making us feel safe!

Worthy of all the good reviews previously. Visited early on a Sunday evening and received a great and friendly welcome from the staff. Opted for the signature IPA, which was outstanding, wife Opted for the signature lager, agin very good, would visit again

Very disappointing, good food ruined by terrible service. I think some more training days need to be organised for the staff. The space was really nice and unique (although the bar top was ridiculously sticky at 11am) it was very cool/edgy however I think you can very quickly go from cool/edgy to pretentious/rude which unfortunately was the vibe you got off the staff. We were completely ignored as we walked through the door, there was no communication about bar service, servers would walk past us and completely ignore us & avoid eye contact, after ordering the wait for 4 drinks was atleast 20 minutes and when they came we were missing one and met with “I didn’t get that through” instead of an apology and offer to make the missing drink. They then re-charged us for the missing coffee. After observing some interactions with other customers it genuinely felt like customers being there was an inconvenience for them, it unfortunately wasn’t just the one bad server it was all of them which definitely spoilt the visit. The food was lovely however (the leak and black pepper sausages are gorg!) but unfortunately the service was lacking.

I've been here a few times drinking, and it's a smart bar!! Great location near the train station! It's been styled really well with a modern, industrial vibe. They serve some really good beers, and quite a large range. There is tonnes of seating with great rooftop seating available too. They sell tubs of "Yorkshire Crisps" which are superb. Great bar overall and I would 100% recommend

A quirky indoor / outdoor / indoor space with a cool industrial feel that's punctuated by disco vibes and greenery. Really friendly staff, a good selection of drinks with tempting cocktail offers and lots of seating inside in the downstairs space or up in the open air section (that gets covered in winter). When we visited upstairs was busy as it was a sunny day but downstairs empty, it seemed odd then that the upstairs bar was closed and the downstairs one open but the trips up and down the concrete stairs were good exercise. The bench seating feels quite perilous, especially if you're at one end and someone stands up, it's also quite intimate when someone sits behind you but it's a nice space. It's handy location near the railway station means it's easy to find and I think they do some good food options at certain times too.

What a lovely lunch. The chicken caesar wraps were enormous and apparently absolutely delicious but the BLT was the best I've ever had. I should know. I've eaten plenty. Bravo. :)))

Came for lunch with some friends. Bali bowl and spicy watermelon margaritas were great! Only downside was a friends food order arrived wrong, she ended up with a salad with chicken bits in when she is vegetarian and ordered without chicken. Other than this slip up it was great. Very warm up on the terrace on a sunny day!

Really nice place! Nice deco and drinks are good! The service was really bad though, staff are sooooo moody and complain at you for ordering 2 different cocktails 🤣 Went at 7pm on Sunday 4th and was served by a girl with a claw clip and travis scott t shirt - very moody mean girl vibes unfortunately :(

Nice bar in Leeds sat outside upstairs nice atmosphere, liked the fire pits out at the front.

The location is good. If you want to sit, it is too difficult to pass through others or move out once you are seated. Too many tables in a tiny space made it so worse. Moreover the benches are very risky to seat. If you are at one side and someone from the other side left, it will be a seesaw. There is no TV inside, so waste of time if you go in a match day.

Found two pieces of metal wire in my full english, which was very dangerous and I nearly swallowed .They said it was from cleaning the grill and they would refund both of our meals. They only ended up refunding half and didn’t say anything further.

Payed a visit to this lovely bar a few weeks ago and I must say everything was perfect! Will for sure be visiting again very soon and a special mention to I think his name was Bruce on the bar who was extremely friendly and welcoming, always working with a smile on his face! Would recommend to anyone looking for good vibes and happy atmospheres

10/10 bar in Leeds! Been a number of times in the year since it opened and can’t fault it. Incredible roof terrace in the summer turned winter garden through the winter months where a cover is put up over the terrace with heaters. Super versatile, I’ve been in for a coffee with my laptop to work during weekdays, I’ve been for day drinks and/or food on a weekend and for a night out as well. Food is lovely and served quickly, brilliant selection of drinks. Ideally situated, if you come out of the train station you can see it literally 1 min away. Very popular place to be, can be busy at weekends particularly in the summer.

Been here a few times and can say it is really good for food and drinks, I especially liked the pizzas. A great location due to its suntrap making it a really fun environment. Will definately be going more.

What can I say, wow…. After one of the bar staff, Nick, recommend the Green Room as an a great place to take the family for Sunday lunch We gave it a go, easy to find, great atmosphere, wasn’t too noisy for a family get together and food was 👌. Looking forward to spending a late Saturday night on the terrace sometime soon

Found this little gem of a place while on a shopping trip, great location and only a stones throw from the train station. Stopped in for lunch and cocktails, and was so surprised at the quality of the food as it was so reasonably priced. The atmosphere is so chilled and relaxing, and the cocktails are to die for. The girl who served us was just adorable, she was bright and bubbly and made an amazing cocktail, didn't catch her name, but if you see a tiny gingered haired girl and cool tattoos, grab her as make a mean cocktail!! Will definitely be visiting again.
