Great food with good customer service. Very reasonable priced and good portion sizes. We all ordered the chicken Gyros and all enjoyed them thoroughly.

As always, it delivered. This is one of the best places for a gyros wrap in Brighton (and that’s coming from a half Cypriot greek) we look forward to having another on our next trip to town. Definitely recommend the pork gyros!

Absolute tourist trap of a place. Ordered Kebab Gyros and got served absolute dog mess. I had paprika put on top of my gyros which made it super dry and unbearable to eat. The guy was on his phone and didn’t even ask me properly what I wanted or not. Also very overpriced for what it is.

Estaba muy contento de encontrarme con este lugar de estilo de comida callejera griega en Brighton. Después de probar los giroscopios de pita reales en Creta, siempre quise encontrar el lugar auténtico más cercano. Pedí los tradicionales gyros de cerdo en pita con patatas fritas. Fresco, bien presentado y delicioso. La única queja menor sería que la carne estaba un poco demasiado salada. Lo recomiendo si le gusta la comida griega, le encanta probar la comida de la calle o si está en movimiento: tenía mis giroscopios mientras caminaba en Brighton. El servicio fue cálido, amable y rápido.

He tenido muchos Gyros de pollo y nunca me ha decepcionado. El pan parece espeso y a primera vista, pero no lo es. Cohete de relleno, chips finos y crujientes encantadores. encantador

Some of the best food i have had in England, recommend the chicken gyro have not really tryed anything else i did have the lamb gyro and the pork personally the lamb is not something i enjoy but the pork and chicken gyro's are a must try.

Looking around Brighton for food we came across this van but thought no we would sit inside somewhere, After walking round we couldn’t get the idea of the food from here out of our minds so went back and the food we had was amazing (pork gyros and halloumi fries) the only thing I can fault was unfortunately the service after taking the order there was no interaction as the two staffed just joked about themselves having there own conversation as if we were not even there so much so that they forget who ordered what so our food was handing to different people and had to correct them. Don’t get me wrong amazing food but interact with your customer more the it would be 5*

Centrally located outside Churchill Square Shopping Centre. Lately food trucks can bring some anticipation of bringing high quality food to you and not the usual fast food concept. A variety of specialties and ethnic menus, have become particularly popular and this is where Greekatessen positively surprised us. We had a great greek meal from this truck and their Pitta Pork was especially lovely. Service was friendly and efficient. No tables, but you can choose to find a place on the surrounding square or bring it with you to wherever you find suitable.

I’m absolutely flabbergasted at what happened at this place today. I’ve eaten there a few times and the last time the food wasn’t that great but today my 3 year old wanted the halloumi and chip pita bread as shown in my picture below. The man in the photo was incredibly rude to my 75 year old mother when she asked before we had ordered what the halloumi fries were, rolling his eyes at her cause she was so stupid! Anyway, he was talking to his friend and we were waiting for our ordered pita outside the middle of the small trailer, there were no other customers waiting but we were obviously annoying him standing there so he shouted at us to move down we took the whole 2 steps to wait at the bottom of the trailer. The food was given to me (pls zoom into the last photo) it had 3 tiny soggy sautéed potatoes In it, two small bits of halloumi and loads of salad, looking nothing like the photo shown below. I said innocently “this is supposed to have fries in it like the photo there” What followed was absolutely disgusting he started shouting and arguing saying why did I choose that for a child if he had known it was for a child he’d have done “horrible fries” I said I didn’t need to tell you who it was for I pointed to that photo and would expect more or less the same as it is shown below not with completely different potato’s and no chips in it at all. He started saying his new potato’s were healthier and not full of rubbish and I wanted rubbish unhealthy food! I said I wanted my money back, he was shouting the whole time “there’s always one like you every 20 months”! He was then shouting at my mum and his friend on the street was telling her not to shout at him obviously it was ok for him to shout at us! I then took a photo of the food and he grabbed my hand and wrist trying to get my phone off of me and he then came running out the trailer and took my photo, he was mad wild and disgusting, first of all to behave like this let alone in front my 3 year old and baby, horrible man that doesn’t deserve to have a successful business please avoid!!!

Love this place! We love our Greek holidays and always miss the Greek food when we’re back home. Their gyros/souvlaki are perfect and the taste takes you back to being in Greece.

Greek food is my favourite food, I enjoy it and it makes me happy. Today I saw the food truck and I headed over, I ate the wrap, it was really nice. Whilst in Greece me and my woman we are the Greek food, I liked the koftas I made on the bbq, I liked the side salads we had every time we ate out, lamb stamna was my favourite dish, baked haloumi closely followed. This food truck took me back to Greece and I was happy. I also like the film the three amigos starring Steve Martin, Chevy chase and Martin short.

Really delicious food but a bit overpriced compared to the amount of food.the chicken pitta tastes like heaven.

Ordered on Deliveroo, ordered the gluten free gyros and halloumi fries. Sadly, the food arrived cold despite it being less than a 5 minute journey for delivery, and the portions were tiny, with no gluten free wrap replacement. The meat itself had hard chunks in it and overall was very overpriced for the amount of food I got. Very disappointing and a waste of money. Will not be eating from here again.

To be honest I picked this out of the options of street food as I’d just come back from holiday from Greece so Greek was still fresh on the mind, but is was definitely the best decision there! I had the pork Gyros pitta, and it was amazing! Such an authentic look and taste, with a local price. If you’re in the shopping area of Brighton I really do recommend this gyros here. Good job!

This place is amazing, especially since they recently started doing delivery. The taste and quality of the food is superb. I was pleasantly suprised by them, to the point where I realized that they actually make better souvlaki than many places in Athens Greece! Good job, please keep it up!

Its one if my regular take away spots ! Definetely the best gyro in brighton ! Plus lots of vegeterian options the hallumi fries are a must try!!

Simple, cheap, delicious Greekatessn is definitely a place to check out. Food was hot and fresh and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Was looking for something hot and yummy to take on the train and bumped into this truck on a detour to the station, had the halloumi sticks! Defo did not dissapoint! Was good value for money! Good portion

Greekatessen is situated in the vibrant area of Churchill Square in a cylindrical silver food truck. As a veggie I was happy to find such a range of veggie options, and even vegan ones! I chose the Spinach and Feta Philo Pie and the Halloumi Sticks, which were cooked on the spot. Very affordable prices too. I would really recommend this food truck to anyone in Brighton, whether you are meat eaters, vegetarian or vegan!

So while walking past here a few days ago with a friend, our eyes ended up being drawn to the displays of food not the counter and I can honestly say thank goodness it did. I have always been a fan of Greek food and this particular place didn't disappoint. Great tasting food was combined with wonderfully friendly service, cheap prices and a guarantee from us to return again soon. Even better, I found out recently that they are on deliveroo so I can now enjoy their stuff from the comfort of home!

Had a coffee here today and as there were no bins around I walked back to ask if I could give my cup back for them to put it in their bin. They were busy serving, so not wanting to interrupt, I left it on the counter ledge and then walked into the shopping centre. One of the servers came after me into the centre holding my cup and rudely asked me if I thought it was OK to leave my empty cup there. I apologised and explained why I had done so. He continued to question me in a rude manner so I asked if he wanted me to take it back - he said, 'Of course, it's yours'. I won't be going back.
