Appear to have got our order confused as was missing 3 dishes and replaced with 2 we didnt order.

the food was cold, the duck was over cooked and did not have enough for the six pancakes and the spring onion and cucomber was also not enough

Very small portion size for the price. We also asked for the food to be spicy, but hardly a chilli flake was found.

Always have a delicious takeout from Great Wall. Very good Singapore Noodles, tender Duck Chinese Style, Sweet and sour Pork, Ribs Cantonese and egg fried rice all very tasty, delivered quickly and still hot. The price is pretty standard and portions spot on. For a take out highly recommended!

I always order from Great Wall whenever I fancy a chinese. The food is always piping hot and always tastes super yummy 🤤🤤 My order varies from an easy Chinese chicken curry and rice to some noodles with brocoli and beef in black bean sauce. And it never disappoints. Always super fresh and yummy. they look after their locals and regulars by giving you some free prawn crackers... and they give away more as your order gets bigger! Meal for 4 = 4 bags. Wouldn't ever dream of going anywhere else 😊

Lots food are cold and lack of quality

Food was excellent. We had beef in black bean sauce as part of our order and the beef was so deliciously tender! Rest of the order was superb too.

Had the crispy shredded beef, boiled rice and crusty seaweed, one of the next Crispy shredded beef's I've had in long time! Rice was fresh and clean and the crispy seaweed was really nice. They also gave me a free portion of prawn crackers!

Long wait but to be expected and arrived at time stated (though this was later than the 60-75 mins specified on the order page). It was definitely worth the wait though. Yum!

Order regularly, kung po chicken and salt and pepper chicken are my favourite! lovely customer service and everything has a lovely smell. Best Chinese in hemel in my opinion!!

Very poor salt and chilli chips very dry and under cooked with no chilli whatsoever. Salt and chilli ribs chopped into tiny peices mostly bone no chilli taste whatsoever. Crispy shredded chilli beef again no chilli flavour whatsoever small portions not very hot and a very rude driver will not use again

Wouldnt order off this Chinese late and taste was horrible , please sort this out

Excellent flavour, fresh, the vegetables were still so crunchy and all round tasty! Good value for money!

Chicken balls had a bad smell and 1/2 duck was mostly bone.

The delivery driver was rude and asked me to come outside to collect the order but wasn’t even outside my house and I had to walk with no shoes on ti collect it

Food was great, driver accidentally delivered someone else’s order but a quick call and they got the driver to come back with our order. Will definitely order from them again

Food was chewy despite being labeled as crispy; butterfly prawn, prawn toasts, even the “crispy” seaweed! either was cooked and re heated before delivery or over cooked. The Thai green curry was far too oily too. Only decent thing was the egg fried rice and prawn crackers.

After trying all the Chinese restaurants in Hemel and Berkhamsted this one is the best. The dishes are much lighter, not so glupy and fresh tasting. Delivered earlier than time slot given and was still nice and hot. The price is right for portion sizes too

The Great Wall... The Salt and Pepper Chicken was the highlight with its crispy and explosive flavors, securing a solid 8/10 rating. Indulge in the abundant portions of Beef with Ginger and Spring Onion, and relish the perfect balance of sweet and spicy in the Kung Po Chicken. Szechuan Pork hits the spot with a firey kick back and tender. However, the Chicken Chow Mein falls short with its thin slices and lack of seasoning which really let the meal down. Despite this, the Great Wall shows promise worth revisiting.

food was ok but very long waiting time only to be told it was going to be delayed.

Over 2 x hours wait on food delivery for party of x6. Duck was like boiled slop and guests didn’t want to eat much of it. Wasn’t crispy duck at all and all so of congealed together. Not great and not worth the wait unfortunately.

Honestly the best chinese in Hemel. It's what I call 'clean' food. Non greasy. Tasty. Good portion sizes. And at a very reasonable price.

Lovely food, could of been a bit warmer though

After 2years of searching for nice Chinese food in Hemel Hempstead, FINALLY! Hot, fresh, tasty, good portions, not drenched in oil. Didn't make me feel rough for days afterwards. Will definitely be going back. AND, reasonably priced. So so glad I found this place.

Chicken wasn't cooked properly

Salt and pepper squid was clearly out of frozen bag; it was chewy and tasteless. the foo hung was fine (but cold). Special chop suey was disappointing as there was almost no meat or shrimp: I had to really pick through it to work out if it was an accidental prep of a veg version or whether an insignificant amount of all meat had been included. Delivery was just over an hour later than earliest time and 35mins after latest time. Very disappointing!

We ordered on Valentine’s Day so was very busy, but the staff was very lovely and apologetic. Always come to this place, always amazing food and amazing service! Highly recommend!

Food was tasty however not amazing quality and only slightly warm. Was nearly 2 hours from order to delivery.

unfortunately food was cold even though 45 minutes early. Had to microwave everything which made the battered food soggy and greasy! also the food was quote bland, very little flavour, I ordered spicy dishes which were far from spicy. extremely disappointing and a waste of £30
