Great Wall in Peterborough

Just had my first meal from great wall and must say it won't be the last it was very tasty hot lovely crunchy veg plenty of meat thank you keep it up cu again soon

Absolutely disgusting.. the food smelt like raw sewage!!.. to then ring up and i was then advised the beansprouts were not right?? Then why send it??? Very expensive, and a awful taste!!! and my wife is now throwing up as I type!! Avoid this place trust me, never have I eaten anything so bad, was great a few years ago, when jim was the owner.. I will never order from here again and I urge anyone else not to!!!.. although they did resend the order but was to late, we were all put off by the experience.. I even let the delivery driver smell the food when he returned with the reorder, where he nearly threw up!!... unlucky for them my wife works at the food standard agency..

A bit hit and miss sometimes very nice, other times taste awful last lot of beef chowmein was horrible , they need to get act together otherwise we'll be looking for another takeaway

Been going to Great Wall for many years and never disappoints.

Really disappointed with quality of food.really bland prawn chow main, prawn dry and tasteless. Also the prawn toast burnt and dry, no sign of filling inside basically regular toast bread deep fried with seasame seeds on top.Disgusting that they charge people money for this.the sauce is diluted with water. Would not recommend and would definitely not order again from them.

Hot food collected or delivered

We had a very nice meal for 4 from the Great Wall. Everything went very smoothly with the ordering and collection process and they even catered for our special needs. The food tasted delicious. Thank you very much!

Really nice food. Been my go-to Chinese Takeaway for past 7+ years.

Not great. Very greasy in parts. Tofu was dry and seemed to be cooked for an hour! Chicken in the chow mein was dry. Prawn toast was mediocre. Egg fried rice bland. Roast Pork in Sea Spiced Sauce was the clear winner. Overall a disappointment.

First time ordering a takeaway from here. I must say I'm glad that I did. It was so tasty & fresh and hot. The delivery was so quick at least 25 minutes from ordering online. Amazing. Will be ordering again from here again and I would highly recommend The Great Wall. Unfortunately what I said before is now out the window as in the last two months the food has got VERY VERY Greasy. The Barbecue sauce that came with the Ribs had no flavor at all and the grease was swimming in the container, the ribs so so chewy. Will be giving this place a big miss the next time we order Chinese Take Away.

Been before and have decent food. Today asked for bbq spare ribs with the sauce separate but said they would charge me extra for the sauce…that would have already been in the box. Hung up, asked Happy Valley the same thing and they said yes of course. Good food, not the best customer service

One of the best Chinese we've had!! Will be ordering again!!

I have always ordered here for the last couple of years and tonight we'll that changed. I paid over £20 for my order and it taste disgusting it is reheated and greasy and so we're the sweet and sour pork balls I have ordered this same meal for the past 2 years and I have never felt so sick. This time there are just no words I am deeply disappointed they would do this. I will not be ordering from here again and I will make sure this never happens to anyone.. Reheated greasy and disgusting never again. And it was my wedding anniversary as well tonight and this has spoilt it. Just avoid £20 down the drain. You should be ashamed.

I have been going to this Chinese for a long time but over the last couple of months seems to be getting very bad I ordered last night for collections and when I got home I can’t believe how bad it was there was 2 prawns in 1 of the dishes and a couple of bits of meet the rice was not even the one I ordered can’t believe how bad it has got

I used to order from here a few years ago if you had asked me then I would of said best in borough but I had this evening and it's gone down hill massively curry sauce was so thick wouldn't come out pot chips were rock hard and it's like they've made no effort will not order again
