KFC Peterborough - Ashborough Road in Peterborough

Very clean, bathrooms, tables and windows, friendly staff, food was served very quick in a great athmosphere. I would say this branch is over most of KFC restaurants I vidited.

Occasionally I pop through the drive-thru and with my meal I like a hot drink. This restaurant still does not offer hot drinks (they use too but machine was broke) and has been for some time. Additionally, no ice cream either. As you approach the window, the screen by the booth no longer works. In general it appears run down and shabby.

I had to change the lunch because there was hair in the chicken.

Love KFC it seems being served by an actual person is being discouraged in favour of using the self-service kiosks. You used to get a choice but now there are big signs on the counter telling you to use the kiosk. Don’t like it.

Never got it had to fetch it myself total rubbish.

Only gave us half the order. Went back to resolve the short order. Explained the issue with the girl on the till. Then the manager wanted me to repeat the issue again as which I was not happy to do. Did not feel valued.

The lady that was giving the food was being argumentative after I have given the working code, as well as walking into my house without permission!

I saw the new shake on the app and decided to get it from here, i came with my little brother when i got it i was disappointed as it looked sad and dull compared to the app and when i tasted it it just taste like ice and the texture was only crushed ice and i went to the counter to complain and i just left with 2 shakes on the counter i didnt even drink them wasted 5 pounds. One of the staff told me its my problem and i just told them leave it and walked out. I know they are just working there but they cant serve me that never have i ever complained to any staff like that my first ever time complaining very disappointed

Normally fine we have been going for years however yesterday after having the kfc I have been having the worst food poisoning of my life NEVER returning, also the service has increasingly become worse over the years

After a mess up from the team last night and a refusal of just eat refusing us a refund, I went in today to speak to management to get it rectified. Shane came and spoke with me in a very polite and patient tone, looked at my evidence from just eat to prove they had denied the refund and looked at my receipts and pictured. As I had just been food shopping I thought either a refund or the correct food would be sufficient to satisfy the complaint. With no questions he gave me fresh food to take home, a sincere apology and a roll of the eyes at just eats behaviour. Shane thank you for sorting this!

We have ordered from this Kentucky before and it is has been ok but tonight the food was dreadful !!! I had a tower box meal and the chicken and hash brown were both burnt !! The chicken piece was also very hard, as if it had been standing for a long long time. My husbands chicken was very dry and also very burnt ! I am very dissatisfied and disappointed as this was not cheap.

I recently ate at this kfc and while I was eating my chips I was disgusted to see a staff member putting there grubby hands in the fresh chips ready to serve to customers and start picking away chips and shoving them in there mouth after witnessing this I couldn’t stop staring in disgust and then I saw another staff member chomping away on them too but worst yet one of the staff members put the half ate chip they recently ate back into the fresh chips a chief did point out how disgusted he was when he saw them doing that but they just ignored him and carried on eating the fresh chips. I know kfc’s slogan is finger licking good but that’s revolting that staff take that slogan and mix it in with other people’s paid food.

Been ordering from here for nearly 3 year they are the uk worst kfc there wings are drys and tiny consistently Allways over cooker there burger are pathetically small your charging near 12 pound for a chicken box meal burger and your lucky to get half a chicken breast what is the portions size for a fillet burger because it ain’t a chicken breasts it half one , that’s all kfc with there pathetic burger sizes look nothing like photo never bigger than the bun , soggy chips also consistently , I have sent many burgers back at driver through also as now I inspect every burger I get from kfc and send back if it’s too small this is ongoing issue at this restaurant and staff don’t really care I’m have never gone that was nice or I enjoyed that this place deserves a 1/10 terrible Thank good the uk now has Popeyes chicken that is 9/10 this is 1/10 shocking hope KFC go out of business but that won’t happen because of yum brand they need to step up there game they are worse than you average chicken shop

Will not be buying from here again. Chips cold and one pack of chicken was obviously fresh cooked and the other reheated as it was solid and inedible.

Food arrived late and the lady delivering didn’t even have it in a warm bag just in the paper bag. No cookie delivered, and no beans in the ricebox this is my second order from KFC Ashbourne road in a couple of weeks and I won’t be doing so again that order was cold, if you can provide a service then either call or cancel the order

We had a KFC first time in ages but wasn't impressed. The normal chicken was fine the boneless chicken for our small grandchildren wasn't good at all very dry and too crispy. The chips were awful.

Why don't they double bread the hot wing properly anymore at this store? Everytime I have to ask a member off staff if the hot wings are double breaded! I used to work at this store as a cook for 2yrs and I always done my job properly and followed the KFC breading procedure. So I expect the same guality when i visit to get food. No matter how busy it was i never took short cuts! Today I got 10 hotwings and they was not double breaded! I had to ask the manager to make them properly and then had to wait 10 minutes for them to bread and cook them properly.... I don't know what has happened to this store but it was not like this when I worked here.

It's just okay really. Easy to order on the screens and both times we have eaten in, the tables have been clean and the restaurant pretty much empty. Chicken was good but chips not great. When I went back to get a drink they were scooping them into packets ready to give to people except nobody was there or driving through and so I wonder how long they would sit there. Staff seem to be having a party as they are bored. Lots of messing around going on and they were on their phones. Will probably be back purely as it's the only one in Peterborough that isn't halal.

Sweetcorn tastes like dishwasher fluid. I suspect it is the plastic they microwave it in. That supercharger zinger sauce is too hot for the mediocre flavours KFC is serving up. Obvs these aren't issues specific to this branch but oh my god how the mighty have fallen. With Popeyes opening over here now, I don't think KFC will be able to rest on their laurels.

My fillet burger was dry, I couldn't eat some of the coating as it was tough and chewy so feel it was somewhat 'old'. Same with the coating on the piece of chicken I had (the chicken drumstick itself was ok though). Delivery driver was friendly and on time though!

Bought a family bucket, paid almost £22. The chicken were horrible overcooked, the chips were overcooked and it definitely didn’t taste fresh. So most of it ended up in tge dustbin.

Decided to eat in for a change and regretted it. None of the tables had been wiped down, nor were they wiped down while we were there. The toilets are a little cramped. Food was good though, so recommend sitting in your car and eating.

Wrong delivery offered. Had to explain what we had ordered before she returned to the car to get oùr delivery. To be honest, my experience of justeat has been rubbish!

4piece chicken meal got 4 small chicken legs, so all dark meat didnt get chicken breast or any other cuts of chicken meal isnt cheap and litteraly got the smallest amount of fries, disappointed for the cost
