The food quality was disappointing. The pizza arrived cold and stale, making it inedible. There was no achaar on the pizza and lacked any pizza sauce, and the peri chicken lacked flavour. The onions and peppers were undercooked, affecting the overall taste. The crunchy burger was dry and stale, with barely any sauce to enhance it. Better attention to freshness, seasoning, and preparation is needed.

i want to take this time to say to everyone reading this, let me tell you all something, if im wrong? Correct me! But.. this is the Reality of takeaways... Next time you all visit a takeaway? just ask them where do they get their Meat from or either check their kitchen out.. whats the point of opening a *Business* and wasting customers time and money when the food wont be nice. I've never tried Chesters food apart from a burger, let me tell you all the chicken burger from inside is all Pink!! Never in my life have i had a chicken burger thats all PINK from the inside its Gave me Food Poisoning!! and left with stomach pains!!! I dont know what makes us people out here having the urge or crave Takeaway food! After today Tauba Astagfirullah its Rizq but this is it never eating from outside again, home made food is the way to go!!! Who agrees with me?? The only people who crave takeaway food are the ones who cant be bothered eating at home!!.. its the truth💯%!! only a few weeks back one of my good friends brother past away because of takeaway food!!! So to all who Read this Unless you want to get *FOOD POISONING* dont eat from Chesters, avoid it at All Costs! Makes me laugh how people are rating it 5 stars! I wish it gave me the option to rate places like this NO STAR rating at all!!

Alhamdulillah very good experience, Their food, service everything was excellent.

The food that I ordered wasn’t cooked well. We order two full chicken we spends £26 it wasn’t cooked and we didn’t eat we never come back again

Exceptional service and quality food.

I brought 9 inch pizza and pitta peri chicken amd in total i paid £10.98.For that much money i was expecting a nice big portion.When the food came, i was shocked and disappointed because the pizza was too small and especially the chicken peri pitta was as small as my hand.

Would highly recommend this takeaway after trying various different takeaways and burgers always tasting burnt I decided to give this a try and I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed the burger was lovely and fresh also the muffin was lovely and fresh also chips were lovely and crispy they weren't soggy my friend also had pizza and they too was lovely and fresh this is now my new go to

Waited over an hour for my food ordered on Uber eats. When it arrived the chips were soggy and and Parmesan was cold ! Also when you try to get through to the takeaway they put you through to an external team! Very unprofessional they won’t even check your order and will just give a fake time !

Had to leave cuz no one paid attention to me in about 10 mins few guys behind counter served Asian style well done

Chesters you need to take off your offer you have on the window, came in last month asked about the offer I was told offers not available anymore, I've told them to take off from the window as it is misleading customers, even today after a month I came in I could see offer still on the window same thing I've asked them, and same response offer not available, guys you need to take action immediately.

Got food poisoning from here from ydays food! Thought we would give this place another chance since last time we found a hair in the burger...NEVER AGAIN! STAY WELL CLEAR and they portions have gone smaller....go further down to Red Roosters! Miles better places to eat than risking ur health at this place.

If I could give 0 stars I would , disgusting food first ever time I’ve had bad food from here. Chicken burger was pink and it was the thinnest fillet I’ve ever seen and it only covered half the burger other half only had salad in. Disgusting 🤮 won’t come here again had to throw it all in the bin waste of £9

I will never order from Chesters again!!!!! Worst service ever. Kept their website orders live so I paid TWICE for my food (online and then over the phone) and had to wait 72 hrs before I was refunded the first order. I wasn't even offered a price match to the website as I was told the prices on the website are old prices. There is nothing on their website to say online orders aren't taken anymore direct on the websitem I was then told I still had to wait 45 minutes for my food because I am placing a new order. Disgusting service and food isn't even great. Do not order if you want to be robbed of your money and eat mediocre food. Far better places to eat from!!!!!!!!

Health hazard ordered texas chicken burger only to find half a fillet in it, tasted more like a cheese ploughman's spicy sandwich again horrible taste and having read the previous reviews I totally agree how these lot are even allowed to sell food is beyond me DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON FILTH LIKE CHESTERS SHAME ON YOU

Went into shop Tuesday for 2 cheeseburgers,got both orders wrong. Ordered via Ubereats Wednesday,veggie wrap was 2 potato croquettes with the tiniest bit of veg and sauce,no flavour. Other part of order was wrong,they refused to do anything about it. All in all,food was not good and service was terrible. Won't ever order from there again.

Served with popcorn chiken small portion for the price. Taste ok Chiken wings were useless has distinct ouder. Had to return back

Used to go to this place regular when in Rochdale, it has been gradually deteriorating. Today was the final straw. The peri chicken had this nasty tangy and salty sauce drenched over it. The chicken was all bruised up under the skin. Never again!

Food was dead, chicken burgers no flavor at all, dry like cheese, peri chicken tastes like lemon juice, pizzas taste like over powered ketchup can't taste other toppings. Hot wings were stale and dry like dates. Only thing that was ok was the fries. Would highly recommend NOT to visit this store or franchise...

Food was disgusting chicken taste like lemon, burger was drier than the Sahara dessert the pizza looked like a slob of tomato the chicken wings looked hundred years old there’s rats I saw one and the toilet smells there is poo left in the toilet , smells like the sewer will not recommend keep your distance only enter if u want water go in if u dare !!

Excellent service. The young lad behind the counter is the best thing about Chester; add up the food, it's an experience you don't want to miss. Somebody give that young man a pay raise please. Highly recommended.

Use to be the best chicken shop😞Totally disappointed and waste of money ordered 2 family buckets and chicken wings it’s absolutely ridiculous the chicken is not cooked properly and it smells sure it was old chicken feel very bad for my family who came from London for a weekend visiting treat them with old disgusting food none of them eating which is end up embarrassed won't recommend and stop going useless shop not even worth for 1 stars

I got the peri wrap it was disgusting! Literally plain white chicken slobbered in warm mayonnaise. I’ve also tried the filet o fire, smallest peice of chicken in a bun, not worth the money!!

Ordered lot of food but they messed up my order because they don't understand English. I asked for meals and got single wraps, not once but 3 times in the same order. I ended up ordering more than I needed and they wouldn't apologise. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM CHESTERS ROCHDALE OR YOU'LL LOSE MONEY.

Food was obviously old it was dried out and stail the garlic bread just didn’t taste right was just horrible. When we rang to complain he was rude and just kept saying it was fresh. It definitely wasn’t told them we will never eat there again. Was then told they have loads of customers they don’t need ours

Good tasting food. However, on one occasion, my brother ordered some burgers as a treat, and he ordered it as a MEAL. But when it came, only the burger came, no chips, no drinks just the burgers. And he paid full price for it, haven't ordered since.

I ordered a family bucket from here and once I got home me and my family could not eat the food as the chicken was undercooked. As soon as I took a bite, it was very pink and chewy, my family members experienced similarly. The chips were also undercooked. We even called to complain, however no solutions were provided and the worker became very defensive and insisted that it was well cooked even though it was us who had to experience it. A complete waste of £25!!

Food is decent, Some staff friendly, greet you with a smile, some staff not so friendly, do not seem to have much customer service skills unfortunatley

The Tex Mex was absolutely lovely and the cheese burger was not the average beef mashed together that's tough as tyres! Again very flavoursome.

Orders two half peri chicken meals .they sent 4 small chicken legs for two half chickens was dry no spice to it . When I complained they passed the phone over 3 times then put the phone down on me in the end absolute rip off rude staff will not be going back

Ordered on uber eats and it was late into the night got a mega mix burger was just deadd!! Dry tasteless dixy do it better. And half&half pizza they added a big range of toppings that weren't on the pizza description and just created a mid night mess wouldnt recommended. Maybe their different during day light hours.

I bought 3 chicken meals today for lunch! I was shocked to see the burger! The chicken fillet was so slim hence why it was chewy. In all my life I’ve never had that sized chicken fillet it was barely 1cm thick! Seasoning was ok tho I give this place 2* as I was disappointed.

Very very poor service. I went in and paid for a chicken fillet meal. After 15 mins of waiting I was told my order will be ready in another 5 mins. After waiting a further 10 mins, the chap said I have to wait "abit" longer. They was only focused on ONLINE ORDERS and not on the customers inside!! After waiting a total of 30 mins I just walked out (without refund), I had enough. NEVER AGAIN!! 😡

Quick service and good value for money

Before the pandemic the food and service has always been great, now after the lockdown has eased and Iv started to get food from here very sad to see they prep the food without wearing gloves, what’s worse is the chefs at the back you can clearly see them sweeping cleaning then my order comes and they just start making it with using gloves neither do they wear masks, customers come in without masks and they don’t say anything the owner with the big beard and Afro is so ignorant that he won’t even say thanks, it’s as if someone one has stolen all his chickens he needs to learn some good customer service skill

Ordered food at 5.30pm, said it would be 45 mins, it had been over an hour so I thought I'd ring to see where our food was and was told it's on its way will be another 10 minutes, thought fair enough we will wait, been 10 mins and no one had come so rang again giving them another 10 minutes so waiting another 20 minutes in total and said they weren't aware where delivery driver was. Anyway the delivery driver came near to 7 o clock, we told him to wait as we wanted to see if our food was cold as he had taken so long but food was ok, not too cold or hot. Delivery driver was on the phone to someone who works at chesters to say he is being humiliated standing waiting for us while we check our food, saying it had been 10 minutes now standing and waiting when really it had only been under 5 minutes. Food wasn't as good as we expected it to be, we ordered a boneless meal in which you get 10 popcorn chicken and we only got 7 and the popcorn chicken was fried too much and therefore was hard to eat. Burgers were ok, nothing too special... Edible as we were really hungry! First time ordering and definitely is my last! Never ordering from here again 👎🏼 very bad first experience! Wish I had cancelled my order when I rang the 3rd time to be told they don't where our order is!

Amazing chicken burgers....best I've tatsed in Rochdale...Most chicken burgers you get are too thick and salty batter. This is complete opposite. But I would recommend the staff pay attention to detail on the orders, on a few occasions my orders have been incorrect. And also the main seating area could do with a thorough mop on the floor general hygiene in not great. Bins have always been overflowing. Poor in these areas.

Mouthwatering options. Excellent food very good prices and a nice seating area. They have some healthy options on their menu which are mouthwatering. Make sure you get their red salt on the fries!

Legit. Probably better than Pepe's. I got a Tex Mex Burger Meal and the burger itself was more than filling. Not too spicy. Plus you can get an option of red salt on your fries if you want.

Made a telephone order, was told it will be delivered in 40mins. The food arrived 10mins earlier, which was great. Food was nice and fresh. I requested red salt on my chips, but they forgot. Overall good service.

Ordered fish and chicken fillet burgers wrong cheese, no red salt as asked and the chicken wings were sat in a pool and brown lettuce a waste of money as its gone in the bin..... All after spending 5 minutes explaining to the employee what I wanted. Will it be rectified... Probably not

Guy behind counter wearing shirt (seemed like the boss with beard) was sucking his fingers. Probably after eating some chicken. This is totally unhygienic... basic food training needed. Wont be going back. Prices higher than other branch Food wasnt bad. Had better fries which are thinner in cheethamhill chesters.

I usually am a fan of Chester's...food is good but this branch only deserves 2 stars... 1. They don't take card, only cash... 2. Staff think it's ok to talk behind your back when you step outside for a quick vape 3. During the month of fasting; I'd expect the staff to exhibit some common sense and have some dates available for customers to break their fast without having to ask!! especially if the staff are predominantly muslims who are also fasting!! Sort it out please, you are bringing down the reputation of the Chesters brand
