Great fish and chips cooked fresh. Easily the best in Hemel

Really disappointed- the fish portion sizes were tiny, chips were overcooked & dry. Everything was completely overpriced. We won’t be going back.

Visited on Friday at 1710 hrs the fish was great not so the chips I think they were reheated from lunchtime service, not the standard you would expect at todays prices.

Fabulous, freshly cooked Fish & Chips and superb service. A 10 minute walk from the GU canal so we'll worth a visit if passing.

Had a great lunch from here today. Chips, battered sausage and the Korean BBQ Beef & Pork dumplings, they were a little expensive for what you get but they did taste really good.

Best fish and chips in Herts. Have been going out of my way to get my fish and chips from here for the last 25 years. Always delicious. Cooked to order so you wait a bit but the food is so fresh and piping hot. Everywhere else is a disappointment in comparison.

Local fish and chips, bar stayed near by wanted a quick meal in the evening. I found that the main the fish was very nice, but the chips were mixed with very old dried up inedible ones at the bottom covered buy fresh ones on the top few inches. Felt cheated with the portion as could only eat the top ones after leaving walking back with the paper cone. Would check quality of chips underneath before leaving if I were you.

Paid £15 for a meal only to get it home and find half of it was missing and the other half was not able to be eaten as it was rotton and not cooked correctly. Would never go back hete again

Just had chips, really really good... probably the best I've had since Mum's made from home grown spuds in the '70s... yes, that good, will be back to try the full menu. Lovely people too!
