Ok ok. Fish and chips aside. I'm gonna let you in on a lil gem I discovered a few years ago. They do the usual run of the mill fish, chips , savaloy, kebabs. But the reason I travel a straight hour drive to get there is for the ribs. I know, I know, ribs at a chippy. Try them. Then tell me I'm wrong. Update (2024) - They still slap hard!

Brilliant service and the best fish and chips anywhere in Hayes. I live next to the rail station and commute especially to buy from here on the bus. The prices have gone up as you can imagine but food is just as tasty!

Used to use this chippy over 40 yes ago, it's still got great food when I visit my parents!

Normally get takeaway from grants one a week.Generally good food,yesterday my daughter went to get a bag of chips,they were not fresh,hard,probably from the night before.She ate them because she was hungry and now she has food poisoning and she can't eat anything because she is throwing up.Won't be going back there.

It’s so hard to find a decent fish and chip shop and Grants is the best in the area by far! I have been coming here for over 20 years and would not go anywhere else!! Maureen who has been working at Grants for years is amazing and is an asset to the shop, the team are always really friendly and efficient the shop is lovely and clean and most importantly the food is amazing try the Ribs there are delicious and not like anywhere else!!!

Great quality fish and chips always fresh and crispy and the pork ribs are to die for as they are so soft and delicious. Great value for money. There is parking outside. Staff are friendly and always smiling.

I rang to see if they're open as they don't have a website, they were kind enough to cook the food I wanted and had it ready for me to collect. So I could get in and out as quickly as possible Amazing food! Wouldn't eat fish & chips anywhere else! Lovely friendly staff.

Local to this shop so eaten there quite a few times. Generally food is good, staff especially the senior lady their is polite and friendly. Went there today young kids behind the counter polite , asked if the cod could be cut into pieces before frying the Chinese person who was asked was completely rude & dismissive.... the fool had the nerve to tell me that it is fried in different oil yet they fry the cod in front of you! He might be the owner but seriously lacks skills in manners, he's better off staying in the back as he looks terrible as the savloy that was given to me!

Very nice chip shop(old school) Chips are nice but most of all they do the best ribs ever. Bit pricey but nice.

I was born and lived in hillingdon and hayes and this was my local fish and chips as a kid, I live in yateley now and if I'm travelling near by i always pop in for good fish and chips.

I hear they changed their time. At least there could but the new time on the website since the dont have a menu with time. They could have made more notice of when there were and when they will be open. On the website would of been best.

Ribs are very nice but expensive £8.80 for large portion large chips £3.60 they close from Monday due to Government shutting non delivery take aways

I went in Grants Atlanta. Shop was nice and Clean staff was rude I get in and say hello to staff one girl one boy both have not replied, then I give them smile they were look like racist to me in the end the young boy staff give me change with unbelievable emotion less expression. I was surprised and decided not to go again.

Very generous portions of both the fish and the chips, and always nicely cooked. I have eaten from here on a number of occasions over more than two decades, and recommend it thoroughly.

A lovely establishment, very clean and the staff are quick and nice. The food is always hot and cooked very well. I return numerous times.

Yet again we visited our old neighbourhood and planned everything around lunch here. As usual they did not disappoint. Great ribs, great fish and excellent chips. Always a pleasure to eat their food and always a warm and lovely welcome. See you again soon.

This is by far the best chip shop in Hayes! I've been going here since I was a kid, the staff are really friendly and professional. Food always taste good and it is always very clean in the shop.
