Came with a few friends for a Sunday lunch and couldn’t fault it, food was amazing, service was up to standard and all staff were so friendly and helpful. Perfect atmosphere especially in the summer, highly recommend!!

Best pub in the area, definitely come by for food and drink when you’re around. Fabulous burgers and pub classics! Always a great time when we’re around!

I’ve always had excellent food here, and the service has always been impeccable. Staff are friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. Can’t wait to be able to sit out in the lush pub garden in the summer with an Aperol !

One of my favourite pubs! The staff are all so lovely and polite. Service is great, and the food is delicious. I have moved abroad now, but I always pay this historic little pub with bundles of character a visit when I'm back in the UK 😌

Obnoxious and overpriced, won't accept cash. The staff seem too interested in their phones than helping or acknowledging customers. Been a patron since they had cats in the bar and brought many people, alas I shall never go again. Used to love watching the fellahs playing cricket next door. But there are other pubs with better service and prices who accept the king's money

Lovely staff and setting but food isn’t great. Menu is very limited and extremely overpriced for what it is. Wouldn’t eat there again but as a pub for a drink it’s nice.

Great food and eve better Guinness

The pub itself has a lovely setting laden with wooden beams creating a warm atmosphere. However their Sunday roast was bland and tasteless. Dry meat, underseasoned vegetables and a pretty boring, standard gravy. This experience has actually put me off Sunday roasts which is quite sad. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Lovely 17th century pub with huge garden area. We came here as a big group of 10 adults/4 children for a Sunday lunch in the barn. The starters were delicious, the beef/chicken roasts were a good size and hit the spot. Service was excellent and the atmosphere enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We came here for a family dinner, the food was good. The staff, though, were super friendly, and the atmosphere was really nice and cozy.

Lovely outdoor area with lots of seating and now has decking area with very comfy seating. Staff were friendly and efficient. We did not pre-book but they were able to accommodate. We will definitely be going there more often.

The food was amazing. Myself and my husband had the beef roast and it was amazingly good. One of the nicest roasts I have had out. My son had the kids fish and chips he cleared his plate and he's a fussy eater. Will definitely be back again!

Great atmosphere and excellent value for money.

The food was good. Service was good. Not much options for vegetarians. One pizza and one pasta vegetarian option which is limiting. Pizza was good.

We visited for a family birthday meal. The setting is beautiful, the food is good although I did have to send my steak back as it was well done when I asked for medium rare. To be fair to the kitchen the next steak was cooked beautifully. What really lets this place down is the service. There seems to be no guidance from a manager which leave the young bar and waiting staff trying their best to accommodate a busy bar and restaurant. There is no system which means that unless you are pushy or know the staff you get overlooked whilst waiting to be served. Hopefully this gets resolved as we would live local and would like to visit again.

Cozy pub and mostly regular local customers it seems. Lovely sitting arrangement inside and specially outside with beautiful decor and tables. Food is nice as well and the service was great despite the busy evening hours and sunny weather!

oldschool pub located in Eastcote. With free parking space and nice, clean and well maintained setting outside. Quick service. Polite staff. Just pop in for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon which was bit busy, we had a chance to enjoy our drink on the outside sitting. So far so good, planing to come back to try food also.

Pre ordered food did not arrive for two hours from my he time table booked for. . Poor service. Under cooked food. Extremely disappointing experience and would not return.

Is £28 a lot for a bottle of Pinot Grigio? I think it is for a pub.

Lovely meal chicken pieces and salad and very friendly service

Visited for lunch and came back wanting a better food experience. I ordered the grilled artichoke hummus with pita and Asparagus and peas pasta. Both dishes lacked flavour, tasted sour but also bland at the same time. There was no sign or flavour of grilled artichokes and garlic in the hummus and I had to add about 3 sachets of salt to my pasta to make it palatable. In terms of service, it was nothing superb, but since you pay upfront for the food without seeing an invoice, they automatically charge for service. Since I requested my main to be served when I was finished with the starter, I was asked to come to the billing counter and inform the bartender that I'm ready for my main!!!? That was definitely an odd experience and I was left wondering what service I'm paying for since I ordered my food on the counter and had to inform the staff to serve my main. The location and atmosphere is good though, so you can visit for a pint but don't expect awesome food or service although you will pay higher than average prices.

My favourite pub. Excellent to sit out in the summer. Warm and cosy in the winter. Staff and beer always outstanding.

12.5% service added for eating burgers in the garden on a quiet lunchtime! Talk about rip-off Britain. I'll never come again. Shame, used to be my favourite local.

Nice place, kept in good condition. Food is good. You have to order it at the bar and they'll bring it to your numbered table. Nice choice of beers and beverages. Sitting inside and plenty of sits outside. Some with umbrellas, some without. You can watch TV for sports. There is party room with lovely wooden features .

Good menu - but if you like simpler food this might not be the eating place you want. I prefer gammon and chips too for example (though I’m not a Gammon lolll). The service was great and the staff were friendly and responded well to my gentle humour (such as it is)

I’ll banned for leaving this review (as that’s how the Pub works) but that’s no problem for me as I’d never return in the first place. The Woodman is walking distance and is a fantastic option for a family atmosphere.

Lovely pub with lots of original features and open fire. The flat iron steak was spot on and it came with a good portion of 5* chips cress salad and tomato served with a rich garlice butter, food was super fresh! Service was 100%! Will definitely return to try the menu! A real gem near Pinner!

Warm and nice pub with good food and drinks

Great place and the servers and waitresses were amazing. Only downside no steak knife for my brother with his flat iron steak, however this doesnt affect the 5 star service and the Haddock tasted fresh.

I went in hoping to enjoy a drink on the 5th December. Whilst trying to order, the young barman took a decisive look at my breasts and touched himself in front of me. I was absolutely disgusted and ran out in shock. Having called the pub twenty minutes later, I spoke with a manager whom simply denied any such incident had taken place! He's lucky I didn't call the police. Appaling.

Really like the atmosphere here. Free car park also good. I only had a glass of mulled wine so can't comment about anything else. It wasn't the best - tasted a bit too sweet and of liquorice. Also not really hot after having been warmed up in a microwave so not ideal. I would definitely go back for other things though.

I've been here twice for a Sunday roast and I've settled on 3/5 for food because it was a firm 4/5 on the first visit and a 2.5/5 on the second. Hopefully it'll be like the first time when we go again. It's a nice pub in lovely surroundings and the staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The issue with my second visit is the beef was chewy instead of lovely and tender like the first time, and the gravy was watery and lacking flavour when it was decent if not amazing before. On both occasions, the roast potatoes were average, but the overall quality of the meal was certainly above average the first time around. I do recommend coming here for dinner but, need it be said, that's based on my first experience. I hope my second visit was an off day rather than a sign of inconsistency.

'Barn' area which allows pets. Few pubs do so. Food generally good but pork 'roll' was disappointing as no crackling

Tried to organise to have my mums 50th celebrations here. Emailed them and they came back straight away but then never replied again. Rang to double check all was still ok and they said they’re now fully booked and can’t accommodate me AT ALL. Communication is key in hospitality and this place lacks the ability to do so. Cannot express how disappointed I am as this USED to be my favourite place for a drink. Would NOT recommend you try and organise anything here.

Lived in Harrow for over 15 years but first time actually eating here. Great roast, good portions and great service. Will now be a regular.

Nice setting, lovely inside; very snug/multiple rooms, full of character. Lovely staff. Food excellent, although the pumpkin tortellini (presented beautifully) is slightly bland (needs nutmeg/sage/chilli/lemon, something..). Delicious garlicky mussels. Dogs welcome, which enhances any pub. Top marks for very low volume music (some atmosphere but not annoying at all). I imagine parking could be trouble when it's busy. Hope to go again.

It's OK but find the beer a bit expensive for the area.

I stopped going to this pub as they do not accept cash. Although this is a lovely pub, the drinks are expensive so now I have taken my custom to Wetherspoons where I can enjoy an evenings entertainment at a fraction of the cost and pay in cash.

Really enjoyed Sunday lunch here! We found the place on a whim and it’s one of the nicest pubs I’ve been to in a while. The service was spot on and the pub itself is lovely both inside and out. The salads are very fresh, the chicken was very tender & juicy, the squid & wings very well seasoned and the kids loved their fish fingers too. We didn’t try the Sunday roast so can’t comment but all in all, a wonderful Sunday pub lunch!

Another very nice evening sitting in the garden. We also had some lovely food lemon sole and grilled chicken. Not forgetting all the beers to choose. Dogs a welcome and there's a beer barrel filled with water and a pile of dog water bowls for your 4 legged friends.

Had dinner on Saturday evening. Got a table inside that was by the kitchen, and the atmosphere there was slightly gloomy. The service was good the staff friendly

Went here on Friday night had the barn area. Its lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly although we felt a bit rushed to order food as kitchen closes early. Service was great and food was OK.

Really good pub with decent outdoor space with tables on grass and on decking. Beer seems reasonably priced. Can bring family with young kids too as there is a park opposite where kids can play too. Didn’t try food so can’t comment. Ample parking space. Would visit again.

Fish & chips was OK, parma ham starter had some tasteless veggy patty. Everything could use more salt/spaces, otherwise you condition with mayonnaise and catchup as we did. Maybe the large garden is good for families and bigger parties, but food price ratio was disappointing. Maybe the wedding party took away the attention the other guests would have expected and made us wait for 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food.

Friday evening on a sunny day was well spent there. The crowd was good, food choices were limited but good in taste with smaller portions.

I think £3.30 for a glass of coke is a complete rip off.

In our party of 10, 4 of us had our food served luke warm. No apology from the staff. We won't go again, nor recommend.

My meal was basically awful. Chicken and leek pie: nice pastry almost pureéd filling tasting of nothing, boiled new potatoes dry and seemed reheated/fried or something, gravy was beef stock cube with overpowering worcestershire sauce flavour - with chicken and leek?! The whole meal was barely warm. Peas, almost mushy but not quite - again cold.

We often go there with our son, daughter in law and their young childrn. Lovely atmosphere, outstandingly caring and efficient service. The food is usually very good, even thogh there is very little choice for vegetarians. Last Sunday, we went with more members of the extended family. The meat eaters said the pork was excellent , but the rotisserie chike was a bit dry. My vegetarian pithiver was OK. Basically chopped mushroom an butternut squash in a puff pastry case . Same as what I had last time. I wish there was something more roast-like I could have tried. The roast veg was disappointing. The broccoli was rock hard, and could not be cut with a knife, or crunched with the teeth. It would have been better off lightly steamed, and served on the side. The carrot took well to roasting, it was lovely. Roast potatoes had also been too long in a hot oven . Insides were nice, but the outside was hard rather than crisp and golden

A great local pub. We visited with our dog which was welcome in the garden (water bowl provided) as well as my parents who are vegan. The menu is simple but with some pub classics but fantastically made. The pork belly is highly recommended, as was the vegan option. The kids menu was well portioned with a winning dessert. Main dessert menu is also a winner with a lovely Eton Mess and other choices. We'll definitely be returning.

We attended a family party and they had hired the barn room for us all. There was tea and coffee in flasks. Sandwiches, chicken and wraps available to eat. The bar area was separate and easily accessible. The ladies loos were just round the corner, not the cleanest of facilities, they need abit of a revamp. The guys loos were apparently further round the bar area. It cost £8 for three juices and ice. Not a local pub for us but pleasant and quite busy with regulars.

Staffafw friendly and the roast chicken incredibly tender and juicey, best I've had in a long time. The lamb was nice but lacking a bit of flavour, same as the chicken pie but the pastry was nice but a little underdone. The squid starter was fresh.
