YO! Heathrow T2 in Hillingdon

The food was tasty and I like the sushi belt format. But we were charged a service fee for no reason. We were just seated, took food ourselves, and no service was provided. I don't think it's fair and I'm not happy with that. UPD: The team got back to me and refunded the service charge. I appreciate their quick response and help.

YO! Is a nice place to grab sushi, katsu, and other great dishes while waiting at Heathrow. The seating attendant, Sonia, provided great service before, after, and during the meal. The atmosphere is nice with some pop music playing at a level just loud enough to enjoy, but not too loud to have to shout over. The sushi prices are a bit on the high side, but this is an airport and the sushi is very fresh and tasty.

Absolutely brilliant service and lovely staff. And to the wonderful woman who was taking the payments (sorry didn’t catch your name), thank you for making our meal such a good experience. First time at Yo Sushi, more staff like yourself needed service with a smile thanks again!

This was our first time ever dining at Yo Sushi - decided to do it as a little holiday treat. Swati our server was welcoming and informative, she helped us choose our dishes based on our preferences and was attentive throughout. When I'm next in T2 I will be coming back

The menu was reduce having just chipper items in the menu but you still pay as you per better quality brands like sticks on sticks. They really need to reduce the price or have better quality

Why does there always have to be a vegan tax despite the products being cheaper to produce and far more sustainable? There's no vegan selection box, just small ones, so you end up paying 50% more having to buy multiple small ones unlike the fish selection boxes. Please sort it out and contribute positively to the environment and society.

Plates are dirty, there was hair in my food and then they tried to make me pay for items that never came. Terrible service, terrible food.

It's the worst. I ordered ramen, but no matter how many times I asked when it would be served, they didn't give me an answer and it didn't come out for over 30 minutes. I asked someone like the manager and he confirmed it and complained once, but instead of apologizing, he confidently said that he would send me out from now on and told me to never come. It's cute. It was the worst experience. I ordered ramen, but even after repeatedly asking when it would be ready, I got no response. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I asked someone who seemed to be the manager, but they didn’t even check. When I complained, they didn’t apologize—instead, they confidently told me to leave. Never come here. The way they handled things was absolutely terrible.

The restaurant has moving belts from which you can pick your items of choice (cold food). The various plates are colour coded and you get billed according to that in the end. This is all very cool and it is one of the few restaurants in Terminal 2. However, sloppy service and inattentiveness of the staff really ruined my experience. I almost missed my flight due to their long delay. I had ordered hot food which took an extraordinarily long time to be prepared. Moreover, one of the items I ordered wasn't delivered. The food is okayish. Portions are quite small.

Decent sushi place with fresh fish. You can pick up sushi from the conveyor belt or order hot items via QR code. Wish the sushi rice is less soggy and packed, it took away from the sushi nigiris quite a bit. I ended up giving up on their nigiri’s and ordered hand rolls at the end. Offers unlimited refills of hot green tea.

Overall a delicious experience. Sushi and sashimi were delicious - But rice quite dry. For the teriyaki beef, I thought it was more in the salty side. The service was grate, the food was good. I would suggest more attention to detail in the cleaning. Specifically the bits and bobs of the tracks and countertops. All the best!

We were very dissatisfied with today's visit. The staff barely noticed us, and we didn’t feel comfortable. The staff informed us that it is self-service, that we order and serve ourselves. Okay. What annoyed us in the end was the bill, which included a SERVICE CHARGE??? For what??? I do not recommend to anyone.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic experience at Yo! terminal 2 LHR , and a big part of that was thanks to Anna! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Her warm personality and excellent service made my visit even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and her recommendations were spot-on. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you, Anna!

YoSushi in Heathrow Airport is a real eye-catcher - everything is nicely decorated and cool music is playing. You can sit directly at the line and get sushi. At the end you stack the plates above yourself for the billing. You can also order what you want using your cell phone (even without an app) if something isn't on the line. I tried that too and it worked without any problems. The food is very tasty and, in my opinion, offers the most interesting way to eat in this terminal. Considering that this branch of YoSushi is in the airport, the prices are okay. You can sit there comfortably and spend some time. I found the employees very nice and they were very quick. You pay by card.

Jack of all trades, master of none. Was anything outstanding? No. But Yo! serves decent sush, noodles, and miso soup to take the stresses of travel away. Slightly concerned with hygiene with the amount of uncovered, untrimmed beards and hands without gloves behind the counter. Please be careful. But hey, still better and probably cleaner food than my usual business lounge food.

If this restaurant were a movie it be called “hunny I shrunk the sushi.” Tiny rolls at extortionate prices. Chefs making food also not wearing beard nets or gloves. Yuck.

Came in for the breakfast and the breakfast ramen was spot just what i needed

The indian servers are incredibly RUDE! I was kick out as they want my baby to sit beside me. I asked them, how will I eat, that is why im choosing the dine in option is to be able to eat as we have a 30 hrs long flight. This people are extremely not suitable to be in customer service. Btw, i asked them if they have a high chair and they dont have one. Do not eat here! Racist rude servers.

Enjoyed a delicious meal before my flight on 26 November at Terminal 2 - the spicy tuna, salmon, avocado hand roll and cucumber maki were all freshly made, delectable and the service was on point. Thank you to VG and her co-workers.

My son had 3 servings of the salmon sashimi. He said he really liked it. I tried the Korean fried chicken, but it was a bit too saucy for my taste. Service was great though, from taking the order, explaining how the conveyor system works, bringing our food, and payment - it all went well, all done promptly, as we were waiting for our flight, and we couldn’t afford any delays.

I ordered a curry rice dish expecting a generous amount of curry sauce, but I was very disappointed. The box had barely any curry at all, just a few small patches, leaving most of the rice plain and dry. The flavors were there in the few bites that actually had sauce, but overall, this felt incomplete and unsatisfying. Please improve the portion of curry in this dish to make it worth the price. I’ve ordered 4 to 5 times and it’s the same issue always.

I came in after having had the longest day and couldn’t have the mental capacity to decide where to go, so therefore sushi is the obvious choice. Noel, the manager, could probably tell I didn’t have the best day, and whilst he helped me find popular options that suited my taste, he threw in a free side, which I’m forever grateful for. First time at yo, and I liked it .. pocket friendly too. We had ordered green vibes (mix of veg sushi), seaweed salad, veggie yakisoba noodles, veg fried rice… food was nice and tasty. Staff was cooperative.

This place blows. Sushi is really really mediocre, but OK fine, it’s sushi at an airport. I thought the staff was really rude, basically just threw my food on the counter, and asked me to bag the food myself. Prices were Ok ish for london, but it was a really bad start to my flight.

2024/10 Of course, sushi is important to the Japanese, but surprisingly, there are strong conventions and ideas about what it should be. However, this chain in London cuts out the hassle and makes it very simple to eat sophisticated sushi made with Atlantic salmon that you can't get in Japan.

I came in and ordered food, and after paying, I went to sit and wait for my order. A waiter then approached me and said I couldn't sit there because the price was different for dine-in. I was willing to pay the difference, but they insisted that I would need to get a refund for the original payment and reorder everything. At this point, I was frustrated and asked them to cancel my entire order. Although I had opened a can of Coke, the manager, Dominic, refused to refund it because it was open, even though I hadn't drunk it. Instead of being apologetic for the inconvenience they caused, they wanted to charge me for the Coke. Now, it's been two weeks, and I still haven't received my refund of £54 for three people.

So fun! Server was polite, helpful, and always available when we needed her. The atmosphere is great- everything is so colorful and fun (especially the conveyor belt), and the interior design gives a spacious illusion. Lots of delicious vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, just a little hard to pick out from the belt. Overall vibe is fun and the food is great. Definitely coming back next time we’re passing through.

Had a really good meal here considering was the airport. Better than my local Yo that doesnt have as big a menu and always has lots out of stock. Recommend the popcorn shrimp, teriyaki beef and seaweed salad
