My flight to China was delayed until the following day - so a half-mile trek down a tunnel took nine business class passengers to the Hilton Heathrow T4 gratis for the night. The Hilton's interior surpasses that of its rather bland exterior; however, on arrival, the lights were somewhat dimmed as no meals were available apart from Room Service - a menu comprising of pizza or curry that had to be paid for. I chose the curry, but it seemed it was flown direct from India as it took an age to arrive but, to be fair, it tasted equal to the very best of India - but at a price, so it should - and while partaking in this culinary delight I was trying to access the WiFi without success - frustratingly, time flew by as did two online diplomatic meetings - until the entrance lobby receptionist tapped in some unfathomable codes at 4 am, taking me back to the reality of the world wide web and all the self-made troubles and mischief that has so sadly befallen this planet. But in the words of Clark Kent: "That is why I am here, Truth, Justice and a Better Tomorrow!" Let's hope I get to China tomorrow before it's too late.

I like the convenience of the location and the rooms and service are always good. This is my go to when flying out of Heathrow.

The artificial scent they use in the lobby and gym is overpowering and headache-inducing. Two dispensers facing the cardio machines. It's awful. Otherwise an adequate hotel.

I picked this hotel strictly because of the convenience to the airport. We did have some issues locating the entrance , and ended up turning around and approaching from the opposite direction where it seemed easier to locate the entrance. Check-in was easy. The room had been prepaid. We were able to park our car right outside the door to unload our luggage to our room, prior to returning the car. We had no issues having dinner in the hotel restaurant as there are plenty of tables. The room had a large king sized bed which was very comfortable. Plenty of easy to reach wall sockets for chargers. There was a desk and swivel chair, as well as a second chair for sitting. The bathroom was large with a good sized shower. Large bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. We were able to change the temperature to our comfort level. Wi-fi required signing in through hilton. The signal worked fine. A tea kettle and coffee machine were included as well as a safe and ice bucket with wine glasses as well. The room was surprisingly quiet considering its size. We heard no hall noise, which is quite unusual. We were given conflicting information from the staff regarding getting to terminal 2, being told that the easiest way was to take a shuttle that one paid for. However, a second person suggested that we go through terminal 4. We chose that option, and it appears that most people in the hotel do that. Not sure why the first concierge suggested a taxi or a shuttle. Perhaps since we are mid 60's, she thought the walk would be too long, but it was not a problem. One walks down a tunnel located right next to the door, that is clearly marked Terminal 4. It's a relatively long walk, but easy, and down hill. You take an elevator down a level, go to a machine and push for a ticket. It issues one at no charge. No credit card tap, just push for the ticket. Then, to the left, is the entrance to the tram. In our case, we sat on it for 15 minutes until it left at 6:00 AM. I'm not sure if there is a timetable regarding this tram. This timeline worked for our flight. Once in Terminal 2, it is once again, quite a long walk, up and down escalators and elevators, until you actually get to check in the bag, and go through security. But it really was not complicated. Just involved a lot of walking and was a bit of a distance. And you are pretty much following a group of people doing the same thing. This hotel is perfect for flights out of the airport. It seemed high end despite the price that we paid ,which really was quite affordable. The room was very comfortable, but not something I would personally want to stay in for a longer stay if vacationing. If I was there for a conference, however, it offers everything one needs without having to leave.

I visited there for a walk-in breakfast buffet only. So, there are no comments about the room. The staff in the restaurant were nice and polite. There are plenty of choices: pastries, full English breakfast, fresh fruits and salads, hot and cold drinks, porridge, cereals with no-sugar almond milk (suitable for people who don't like sugar), and instant-cooking omelette (meat and vegetarian) by a chef. The price (less than £20) was reasonable for a 4-star hotel in Heathrow Airport area.

As with all Hilton hotels we've stayed at, this one is modern, clean, and well equipped. The hotel is really convenient even though we were travelling from T3. There is plenty of parking space to leave your car at a reasonable price. My only criticism is that after parking your car , you have to carry your luggage up some flights of stairs to get to the level of the hotel entrance. However, to be fair,I understand you can request a staff member to collect your luggage in the car park or drop off your luggage at the hotel entrance before entering the car park. An elevator or ramp would be ideal. A 5 minute walk from the hotel under a covered walkway to Terminal 4. Just caught the underground to T3. Total time 30 mins to get from Hilton T4 to Terminal 3. That includes waiting time for the train. If you don't want to walk and catch the underground, there is a regular hoppa bus H2A That picks up outside Hilton T4 and drops off at T3 and T2. This has a charge, and as of May 2024, it was £6.80 per adult one way. Travel time was approximately 20 minutes to T3

This is a standard high end Airport hotel. Quality and service are very good, but overpriced due to the convenience of the location near the airport. Overall the experience is very positive and if you are on a business trip or have visitors coming to Heathrow, you won't go wrong with this hotel.

First impressions were excellent - the lobby is fresh and airy and we got a cheery greeting and efficient check in from Niomi. This first impression was therefore good - very impressive and helpful. We were told we were being upgraded to a deluxe room which seemed a nice gesture but it proved a somewhat false hope- we looked at a friend’s “standard” room later - nearly exactly the same as ours but the standard room was on a higher floor. The room was small and reminded us of a slightly larger Premier Inn type offering but I suppose this is standard fare for airport hotel overnighting- and it was clean. This sort of room is what you get for the relatively low Airport hotel price - I’m sure they have bigger and better rooms but for an “overnighter” it’s not worth moving up to that level of pricing.Nothing special about our room but nothing really bad either. We had a “fountain” view, for what that was worth. The free wireless internet worked but suffered signal drop quite often. Plenty of USB ports - well done Hilton. The AC worked well but seemed to turn itself off during the night- this is a common ploy in hotels to save power but it drives me crazy when I wake up in the middle of the night and feel too warm. Bedding was comfortable and adequate but the bed linen could do with freshing up a bit - bleaching and/or lightly starching linen would liven things up. The small bathroom had a good, roomy shower, but in keeping with current trends, no bath. This is my biggest issue with current bathroom planning, I do love my soak in the bath. Hilton have made some considerable effort to provide friendly staff. Without exception all were really friendly and quick to react to our requests. No problem at all there. Restaurant service, in the large outlet (OxBo) on the ground floor, was super friendly by Karen and Shenell but so very, very slow. Three food delivery staff, trying to serve food to well over 100 people in the large lounge bar and adjacent restaurant, is an impossible task. This was exactly the same problem when we stayed here 10 years ago and it seems nothing has changed. The delivery staff tried really hard to get food to us promptly but they were clearly seriously understaffed. This also meant that food was not served adequately hot and some of it (like my chicken pie) was clearly “bought in” and not made in their own kitchen. Breakfast was very different - plenty staff and good buffet - great greeting and service from a really attentive and jolly Sumara. What an asset the hotel has there. They have a gym and health centre but we didn’t use them so no comment.

A nice place to stay and good for terminal four...i was there working for a week and got a tad board of the menu, there's nothing wrong with it, the food i did have was really good, I just struggled with a bit of a lack of choice...nothing else really about so you are kinda tied to the hotel unless you fancy a big trip out. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive...always smiling, which was nice to see... If anything I would say it is quite expensive...and evening meal for one person with a couple of drinks could cost about £70...a large glass of one of the cheaper red wines was £18...oh and for the majority of my stay only one out of three lifts were working, so it did get quite busy at times...

Huge thank you to Edward whom we had a pleasure to meet and be served by at Oxbo restaurant in the hotel lobby. I stay at this hotel often with work and while it is always a good service, Edward went above and beyond to accommodate us and was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Thank you.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this establishment with my partner and young son on the 13th-14th of February. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made us feel right at home. Their interaction with my son, including involving him in the Valentine's Day activities, such as guessing flower petals for a draw, was particularly delightful, and he was overjoyed to win some prizes. He constantly referred to them as his friends any time he saw them. The check-in process was smooth, and we found the accommodations to be spacious, comfortable and inviting. The culinary experience surpassed our expectations; the food was not only delicious but also served with great care and attention to detail. Throughout our stay, the staff remained attentive and friendly, further enhancing our overall experience. We were truly impressed by the level of hospitality and service provided and regretted not booking a longer stay. However, we have already made the decision that should we find ourselves in the area again or need accommodations near the airport, there is no doubt that we will choose to stay here. Overall, our time at this establishment was memorable, and we would highly recommend it to others seeking a positive and enjoyable stay

A typical airport business hotel. 5 minutes walk from terminal 4. I had an executive room - was very convenient and large enough. Water stream in bathroom was very weak and disappointing. I got access to the executive lounge. Don’t have experience with many of them so i don’t know what the norm is but this one was mediocre at best and definitely not something worth paying for an executive room to get access into. Gym was acceptable, but as this is quite a large hotel was rather busy through the day. Breakfast was your typical big chain hotel breakfast - quite varied if a little on the boring side. All in all a decent airport hotel for T4, nothing especially fancy or boutique about it, probably convenient if you are a Hilton member and can enjoy some perks.

Haven’t finished my stay yet but it’s already been such an amazing experience. Stayed in room 292 which was in immaculate condition and had lovely interior decor. Also encountered potentially the best customer service I’ve ever had from both the very generous and informative front of desk staff as well as the chief of operations. Overall, a beautifully decorated and calming hotel with kind helpful employees

Executive lounge is understaffed- (remodeled is a plus) and Oxbo restaurant is extremely slow with respect to service. Rooms have been the same for many years- OK. Best aspect of the hotel is the connected walkway to T4 and train services to other terminals and central London.

An accidental mistake turned into a funny surprise game. Me and my partner both got two large hot chocolates, and I asked for marshmallows in mine. However, the kind lady forgot which one she put the marshmallows in. We laughed about it and said it was okay. It turned into a fun little game of who has the marshmallows. Let's just say I didn't win 😂
