The chips are overcook and they give customers reheated chips bad service some of the other food is ok and the Doner kebab is bland they charge £7 for large and the guy just give you 5 or 7 slices not worth it for the price they charge.

Worst service ever! He shouted and raised his voice when I changed my mind about my order before payment was even given. The owner of this chip shop is extremely aggressive and we are three young girls just wanting chips! I told him that I can leave and he started screaming saying leave the shop and you wasted food. Ridiculous never going back again!😡

The owner of this shop is extremely passive aggressive and needs to relax. I just came back home with my sisters after being screamed at for wanting to remove something from my order. He put the chicken nuggets on before we had even paid and made our mind up. He then verbally abused us. Three young girls. And yelled at us to the point where we left the shop…. No one deserves this. This is completely wrong

Very disappointed by the staff. made my order and whilst waiting another person served and received the exact same that i ordered before me. This isn’t the only time this has happened. Disappointed.

We ordered food with them only to have the order cancelled by staff 40 minutes later with absolutely no heads up or correspondence. Then, as they were too lazy to make our food, they blamed it on us and said we would be too difficult to deliver to! What kind of customer service is that? They took no accountability at all. Should not be allowed to advertise if they are not willing to deliver what a restaurant promises - yknow, food. Didn’t think it would be that hard to get served food in a restaurant. Anyway, don’t waste your time.

The only chippy I go to since moving into the area a few years ago. Always friendly and the chicken curry is lovely. Annoying that they don’t accept card tho. Picture might not look the best but chips cheese and chicken curry is a top tier order. 🤪

Excellent Fish Bar...we have been buying fish and chips here for over 6 years...Fish is cooked on request and battered to perfection...it is the best you will get and when you ask for large fish it certainly is large....Chips are the very best around. Never had a poor piece of fish in all these years. We worth a visit.

Staff were decently polite and the fish cake and chips were up to standard but I asked for a fork which he said there was one in the box . There wasn't .

Not really a fan of this fish bar unfortunately. Tried here the other day. Chips were greasy. The batter had a bizarre texture and I can't say my tummy was all that good the next day. I don't think I'll be returning unfortunately.

been here several times and it never fails us. The food is piping hot, delicious (as fish and chips normally are) and the portions never cease to amaze our friends who we always recommend and bring here. Even our American friends said they never get this big a portion back home!! Friendly staff and we've never been let down by a pre telephone order - always ready for collection. Totally recommend this lovely gem of a take away

The quality of the fish and chips is the best in Cardiff. The batter is always perfect and the chips are light and fluffy. However, this is surpassed by the size of the portions - the large fish and chips would feed two people, and is worth ordering just to see the size of it!

The owner of this chip shop abuses his customers he is so rude the few times I have been there hes threatening and abusive to customers mainly elderly customers his language is vile he often gives large portions or extra and expects the customer to pay the extra whilst being aggressive towards then doesn't look too clean especially his apron

Good fish and chips (and curry sauce). Run by two quietly friendly guys, who give my son a lollipop when we go in. Conveniently next door to a wee shop as well.

Absolutely terrible. Only black Caribbean person in queue and only person asked to pay beforehand- what's all that about?? Walked out in disgust but food looked like shite anyways pity I couldn't give a lower score

Large but terrible cod - very thin and clearly not fresh. It was the first time I had had a bad serving of fish and chips in my three months in the UK. Not a very good first impression of Wales. Chips were delicious and portion was huge. Just don't go for the cod. Disappointing.

You don't get much better value for money than here

I passed this a few years ago and popped in, and discovered the best chip shop in Cardiff, if not South Wales. You may have to wait, but the food is always fresh, the fish portions are huge and the shop is always clean. The men who run it are great charecters, and you are always welcome. Finally the food is priced well, with special daytime deals - try it out, you won't be dissapointed.

You won't come across a friendlier place, it truly is a community shop. The best kept culinary secret in town is their delicious Spicy Cod. You'll never taste anything like it. Bring a wheelbarrow, the portion sizes are really generous!

Great little place for some good ol' fish n chips. Very good service and good value on the Lunch menu. Fish cooked fresh while you wait, very tasty. Will use again, just the ticket for weekend shifts in work. Thanks guys.

Im a semi regular and would reccomend. Sometimes a little inconsistent but never a bad meal.
