Grand Tea Lounge in South Ayrshire

Here with friends for morning coffee. Staff were friendly, helpful and very courteous.

Food was lovely but they got the order wrong, we had cups that were not clean and we had to ask when we wanted more tea/coffee. Usually in a 5star rated place the server doesn't let you notice your cup being empty

My friend and I had afternoon tea yesterday I was terribly disappointed with the sandwiches and sausage roll, I felt the bread round the edges was not as fresh as it should have been, perhaps they were not completely covered in the kitchen. I had to ask for some more tea as it was not pipping hot. I feel for a 5 star hotel it was quite disappointing and not good value for the money paid. Gleneagles slightly more expensive but far superior. The staff however were very friendly.

Disappointing service at breakfast this morning. Went to get juice and waitress took order at table saying she would be back for mine but never came back. By the time another waitress noticed I still had the menu and asked if I wanted to order I didn't have time. Not what you expect from Turberry!!!!

Was lovely! Food and tea was fantastic.

Entertaining to sit in the lounge and watch the piper in the evening, but unfortunately it meant enduring very expensive unimaginative beverages. The food selection was something you would expect to find at a cheap drive-in theater. Lame.
