Grand Prix Cafe in North West Leicestershire

Be careful if youre buying a gift voucher for anyone for this place my daughter bought me one only to find out it can only be used in the grain store and nowhere else also checked with grain store and if you only spend £30 they won't give you vouchers back for the remaining balance. Dissapointing approach to customer service and loyalty however won't be buying or recommending anyone to buy a gift voucher for this place.

When with our son & girlfriend has she'd bought him a driving experience, Staff from Everyman was fantastic, so friendly and helpful well organised. Even though we had to wait an hr for his driving slot, it was good to watch others driving. The only downside was nowhere to buy hot drinks or food. Had we known, we would have taken a flask, or maybe they could take the feedback on board and have a van selling such thing's.

Great race circuit for track days!

Limited in places for viewing without fences in the way. Could do with a few photography points in fence like Brands Hatch. Other than that far better organised than Silverstone for club events. Could do with screens in a better place but I presume this is dictated by BTCC etc. Toilets now better than Silverstone. Well priced drinks and food in cafe though food at vendors is now more expensive than the Nurburgring.

We had a fantastic time at the BSB round at Donington Park on Sunday, despite a few minor hiccups. The racing was exhilarating, and the atmosphere was electric. However, the long queues to depart at the end of the day were a bit of a disappointment. We waited for over an hour and only managed to move a single car length. It would be great if organizers could explore ways to improve the exit process in the future. Overall, though, it was a wonderful day out that we'll cherish for a long time.

Garage 39 servers hot and cold food which is very good, but I only have a coffee, I usually go at lunchtime during the week

Enjoyed a couple of track days here (on own motorbike). Well organised. Helpful staff. Also attended BMB Race day which was great..except for queuing for 2 hours to get out due to no car parking stewards assisting..perhaps they all went home early?

Love watching the bike racing here. Good atmosphere. Food and drink wayyyyy to expensive. My advice. Bring your own

Brilliant track. So many great places to view and feel the action. Places to eat, drink and clean toilets. Awesome events. Easy parking.

Took my son to the 750 motor club event. Brilliant day out! Cost nothing for my son as he's under 13, and only £15 for myself. Very affordable, which is rare nowadays for a day out. Only knocked a star off due to lack of food in the cafe mid to late afternoon and the merch shop was expensive for what was available. Aside from that, what a wonderful circuit. Perfect track in my humble opinion. So many different places you can view the racing from. We will definitely come again to see some different events.

What a fantastic circuit. attended the BSB Sept 2024. Traffic into the venue was minimal (mass Traffic management/ diversions etc pte set up) Watching great racing whilst planes come over the top (landing at East Midlands airport) Toilets are dotted around the circuit. Great viewing spots all around the circuit. Traffic getting out was a nightmare, but usually is at all venues when thousands leave at the same time (be prepared for at least an hour or so deoending)

Great time highly enjoyable if you have a love of motorcycle, or racing in general. Plenty of parking and space to sit or stand . And view from different angles. The only thing I'd suggest is take a pair of ear plugs as the sound from the motorcycle's is so ridiculously loud.

Went to watch BSB last weekend. Was brilliant not the first time ive been. Plenty of food options on these big meetings, also the food in garage 38 or 39. Is pretty decent and affordable .

Great circuit, accommodating for all. Went to BSB superbikes and toilets stayed clean.

Disappointed by the open grandstand, although we were lucky that we didn’t get rained on. Other facilities for food etc were great, campsites were well provisioned with toilets, showers, dishwashing areas and waste disposal.

I Marshal for British superbikes and world superbikes at Donington, love the place, great track, great facilities. Its one of the best circuits in the uk and msvr are doing a brilliant job with it

Awesome day watching bsb and other races if you never been it's a must to get on start finish line at the start of the bsb main race.

My wife won a vip hospitality with Bennetts and Cheshire mouldings was absolutely awesome they treated us really well and the grid walk was mind blowing, this circuit is great you can have a great view wherever you stand around the track

Went to watch British Superbikes 29th September. Excellent venue and a full programme. Thankfully, it stayed dry.

The true home of british motorsport! Viewing points are amazing, the food is great and the action on track is always second to none!

Sort the carparks out exiting is diabolical spent 50 mins and not moved not acceptable

A large and popular track for any sort of driver, which allows you to pay to drive your own vehicle around the track on certain days. Several view points are available, Including a raised seating area or even right up against the fences. I look forward to driving around this one day.

Great circuit and some fantastic vantage points, food and drink is a total rip off as you would expect (I guess you need to take a view on expense vs carrying the picnic). Biggest bugbear is major events exit plans for cars. It’s basically madness for an hour. Unless you pay for grandstand seats find the best views by googling vantage points and comparing to a map. Some lightweight camping seats are a worthwhile investment and a battery bank to keep your mobile charged listening to the commentary and getting results.

Great days racing at the BSB. But it took over an hour just to leave the car park as all gates apart from one was closed

I've been going to Donington since I was in the womb (literally.) I've seen good times and bad times. However, I can safely say that the circuit has never been in better shape and the new grandstand is fantastic. There is FM radio for the commentary, so bring headphones and FM receiver or phone. It would be good if the circuit allowed parking in the tarmac lake area as the new entrance is a little distant. Overall, a great place for a day out and the best circuit in the UK. Season ticket is good value.

The viewing area for disabled visitors is brilliant here - the elevated parking area at Coppice gives visibility of so much of the track whilst sitting in the comfort of your own car, something that many places don't offer. There's also an accessible courtesy bus with a chair lift that can take you into the paddock area that pops back and forth regularly too.

Basically the best circuit in the UK!

Attended Convoy in the Park. Great race track, lots of places to view the races, facilities up to date and accessible, very few queues and they have a very efficient exit setup when everyone is leaving the circuit. It was very quick and painless. Was brilliant to see so many trucks on display and the races were run on time and with no fuss. It meant the action on the track was the focus and maximised the excitement. Will definitely return, one of MSV's best tracks.

Annual visit to Donington Park for Convoy in the Park Truck racing event. Never disappoints with plenty of on track and off track entertainment to keep everyone entertained. Excellent weather this year again added to the occasion 🌞

Had a great saturday out at the masters series. Track was well organised and clean. Ample toilets and fantastic access to the whole way around the circuit and even the pits. Will be returning in the near future. 5 stars

Fantastic experience for WSB. One of the best circuits in the country for watching the bikes.

Had a fantastic time at Donington Park watching the Ferrari race! The track is huge with great views, and seeing the cars skid and burn rubber was thrilling. There are good refreshments available, and you can easily enter the circuit through the infield tunnel. Parking is free, and booking online can get you a discount. I've attended two weekends in a row, first as a present for my dad and then as an unexpected birthday present for me. On both days the circuit has been freindly, staff helpful and the access unparalleled. Prepare to walk or roll in my case across very accessible paths, I can say it is possibly the most chair friendly venue, even the garage's were accessible or atleast simply to nose into. I can also say, the feel of the venue is just a nice calming one and the toilet situation is far better than other large tracks I've been too which may begin with an S. Great day had by my dad, myself and my partner (who wasn't looking forward too but loved all the same). A small note, if you are booking the masters event simply for the F1 action, make sure you enjoy the other racing as the classic F1 is nothing more than a fast Virtual safety car with the odd showmanship pass to disguise the fact they are short shifting and driving like there out grabbing milk. Calling it racing is insulting to the cars themselves and the other races happening throughout the day. On both weekends being classic events with mostly older machines. Due to the value of some Vs the amount of money the individual owning has to gamble dictates the paces, this isn't to say it's dull, it could not be further from the truth but just to prepare you for the fact your favourite vehicle might be on paper much quicker than the vehicles it's competing with. Worth a visit and deffinetly will be returning.

Great weekend watching the Masters historic racing! A wide range of cars and some good racing! Staff we're very polite and welcoming and the venue is clean and tidy. No problem finding good spots to watch the races. Even managed to get a closer look at the cars in the pits. Parking was quick and easy and no queue to leave the venue either. Only negative was the price of food, £14 for a burger, fries and drink. You can take your own food though so its not all bad. Would highly recommend!

Donnington is one of the 3 UK Masters Classic car race circuits (along with several in Europe). Interesting selection of 20th century racing classics - from F1 to Lotus Cortina's. Track is undulating, and infield viewing (via the pedestrian tunnels) recommended, as then you don't have the catch fencing between you and the cars.

A great venue for all motorsport events. I attended the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Clubs (VJMC) Classic Show 26/27 July 24. A fantastic event £40 for the whole weekend that included camping if you were exhibiting. Well worth attending. Garage 39 restaurant and bar is excellent too.

Fantastic race track. The grounds are kept impeccably. Loads of brilliant places to watch the racing.
