Staff are always friendly, bar, restaurant, and front of house. Rooms are always very clean, tv, hairdryer, all facilities you need for a night or two.

Lovely staff but lots of problems with room. Food was great when you got it as they were short staffed and took ages to serve. My friend had eat hes by time i got mine. Such a shame as everyone was having a go at the staff and it wasant their fault. On the last day my friend asked for porriage and waitress said sorry the cook had a hissyfit and thrown it at the manager. We couldnt stop laughing although its not really funny. Nothing to do in the evening and bit far out to go anywhere. Wouldn't go again but staff were really lovely.

Only called in to a former colleague's funeral reception but didn't stay long. From what I saw, it looks very nice around the reception and function rooms.

The Park Hotel is just a great location close to the Aintree race course. With lots of transport links. The service here is just about average but could be better. Staff are polite enough, as you can expect. Rooms are outdated but fair enough. You have to make sure you register your reg number if you have a car. Otherwise, you will get a parking ticket.

With in 2 hrs we had 3 rooms, 1st room thick in dust 2nd room tv did not work nor did the electrics and we had a lovely view of a scrap yard, 3rd room the headboard knacker and a view of Aldi not very good at all.

We held our wedding at The Park Hotel on 24.08.24. It was perfect from start to finish. Peter, Bec,Paris, steph and all the other staff couldn't do enough for us. Ourselves and a number of guests stayed at the hotel for a number of days from the food to the rooms no had had nothing bad to say. If your thinking of getting married I would 100% recommend The Park Hotel.

My wife and I had our Diamond Wedding Anniversary celebration with 38 guests on 24.08.2024 15 of the guests were accommodated in the hotel for two nights. The organisation of the event by the hotel was first class.The attention to detail and help given by hotel staff on the night and earlier was very friendly and appreciated

There for a funeral tea, the staff were excellent, nothing too much for them, very welcoming. The hotel it's self was very nice though we didn't see the rooms. I can imagine they would be very nice.

Be very wary staying at this hotel, we spilled a little bit of bottled water on the bed, and the hotel after we left took £100 off our bank card for “a professional clean”, which is ludicrous for a bit of bottled water! There was no discussion or questions asked, just done, daylight robbery! The hotel itself is very run down and needs a good refurbishment. We were told on check in that breakfast was included then charged £12 each for the breakfast, and the bar is never open. Would never stay here again. The hotel is what it is, but the dishonesty and robbery at the end is horrendous.

We went to the restaurant for high tea and had a lovely selection of finger sandwiches and delicious sweets. We followed up with some quality time in the Grand National bar. Friendly service and excellent food and drinks.

The only attractive part was the price. It is in the middle of nowhere, but close to bus stop and Aldi shop. Music from restaurant was very loud every night. Rooms and furniture are dark and too old. Towels were horrible with a holes. Breakfast was ok, very limited options and choices . Staff are very friendly and polite.

Came here for an end of life celebration. The food wasn’t really nice at all. Low quality ingredients served lukewarm to cold. One of the deserts was inedible. They make a great fuss over registering your car. The location is the middle of nowhere.

Someone was having a rave in middle of the night bar staff need some hospitality training. Breakfast was very glad

I was having a pleasant stay until the manager (or I assume it was) come over to serve me my food. I was missing a chicken breast from my meal and asked if I could have it. He gladly brought it over. But he also challenged me about having alcohol with my meal. I'm a fully grown man and my company glady paid for my stay with beverages paid for. But this man made me feel like I wasn't allowed here. He was quick to get onto his computer and further challenge me about having alcohol. I'm shocked at the lack of customer service. I feel like I shouldn't be here. Very unwelcoming atmosphere, to say the least. I don't appreciate being challenged over and over. I will report back to my company with a strong recommendation that we don't make business with this hotel. It's a shame because I was enjoying myself until this event.

We used the Park for our daughter's wedding and we could not have picked a better venue. All the staff were totally committed to making the day special. It was like they were a part of the family....they were that determined to make the whole day go off as planned. A special shout out to Becky who was there from start to finish and a thank you too to Phil for his management of the whole day. A thank you to the bar staff and catering staff who without their hard work behind the scenes wouldnt have made the day the success it was. I am one happy Father of the Bride. Thank you all.

George Michael Tribute night was SUPERB! Brilliant singer followed by a great disco. We've had excellent service all night from friendly staff and enjoyed a delicious meal - thanks to all at The Park Hotel.

Loved our stay in Liverpool, the park hotel made it so much more easy & comfortable. They went above and beyond for my son and I.

Location was good for getting in and out of Liverpool. Rooms were clean and beds were reasonably comfortable. Our room was at the front of the hotel and quite warm but due to noise out front until around 1:30am from a function, window kept closed. Not that it made much difference. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed a drink in the bar area. Bar staff were very helpful.

Inside hotel is lovely, rooms are a bit dark, could do with more lighting in the rooms, and our room was roasting hot. But function rooms and bar area are lovely. Breakfast, was continental with full breakfast too , food was lovely. Location is handy for motorway.. only negative is the actual grounds of the hotel- there isn't any outside space , but this is because it's location is on a main road and was probably built for convenience of the location .

Room was not cleaned just dumped the bedding and toilet paper in front of the door.

Very nice hotel, reception was nice and friendly. Food was love. Room was clean. Gave four star for location because our room was facing the main road so bit a traffic noise early morning but apart from that I would recommend staying here again.

Looking a bit tired. Decor old, bathroom toilet roll holders useless, rolls kept falling off. Light switches only on one side of a twin so had to get up to switch on and off. Disappointing evening meal, kept being told items from the menu weren't available despite stting down to eat at 20:00.

Attended a 21st there was fab. Toilets were clean, friendly bar Staff and a nice outside space! Loved the party lovely venue x

Completely collapsed mattresses and extremely poor noise isolation. No air con, no smart tv so no Netflix, next room was having a coughing fit all night and it actually echo’s into the room and laying in the mattress is basically laying directly on the bed base as you can see from the picture where there’s nothing on it but the quilt. This was in the executive room as well. Ended up leaving at 1:30am and taking the 2 hour drive home. The staff are nice as is the venue but the room itself was abhorrent.

We came up to watch a Liverpool match, and the hotel was included in the package we ordered. After reading some of the reviews we were slightly sceptical but I’m not too sure how someone could review it badly. Great location, close to the motorway, Aldi and Tesco and petrol stations. Lots of parking at the hotel. The staff were super welcoming and polite, the receptionist was lovely and the breakfast was great. Room was very good for the price. We both left saying we would stay here again if we were to come back to Liverpool. Thanks guys! 5/5 stars!

Stayed here one night. Positives: There is an Aldi located next door. Lots of parking at the hotel. Gentleman at the reception was very nice. Negatives: Small room. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Be aware... there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The windows can be opened, but there was a raucous party going on in the restaurant area below us with loud music and singing until midnight, so we had to shut the window, but that still didn't really help with the noise. Between the noise and the worst hotel bed in which I have ever slept, we got little rest. I would not stay here again.

I had my wedding in the park. The staff and event planing team were perfect. They were very professional and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble .

This is a must-visit-hotel. Food is amazing, bar is amazing, service is amazing. Very very nice hotel. Highly recommended

I went to the Mother's Day lunch today with my family. 4 kids and a baby, 6 adults. We all had so much fun. The food was great and on time. The bar was fully stocked. The best part was the children's entertainment. The entertainer was hilarious! Surely he is a comedian? He had the adults in stitches for 2 hours and the kids enthralled with games and jokes and prizes. It was absolutely brilliant and well worth the money. We are all coming back next year! Stayed for 3 nights and it was a really nice place. Rooms clean and the bar and catering very good. Food was very reasonably priced as was the Guinness. Would definitely stay here again if I was over in Liverpool

Good food and lovely staff the hotel was impressive looking but the rooms were small and needed updating the view wasn't great (although there's not much they could do about that!) and wallpaper hanging off the wall above the window . The walls were very thin too and we could clearly hear next door in the throes of passion Saying that the restaurant was good food tasty and breakfast was lovely vegetarian options available but limited wine selection apparently due to impending change of management, after an update in the rooms this would be a lovely hotel.

Firstly a BIG thank you to Paula on reception! We had such a lovely welcome by her and helped us with suggestions on getting to the lfc game. Hotel was lovely and clean room bit outdated but clean and comfy. Only downfall we felt the breakfast is very overpriced for £12 a head! Other than that we had a lovely stay and would definitely return! The park hotel is very lucky to have Paula as a member of staff! (Please let Paula know Gemma and Dave did not lost)

We had our wedding reception here and we literally can’t recommend it highly enough. Genuinely could not fault anything at all for the planning through to the actual day. All guests where absolutely thrilled. Food was incredible, all staff where just wonderful. Bridal suite was divine and even breakfast the following morning was lovely. Thank you to everyone for making our day so special we couldn’t have asked for more.

Comfortable room, shower not the best but adequate. Just fine as a place to stay a few nights provided seek entertainment elsewhere.

I hate leaving bad reviews but our stay was a bit of a joke from the start. Firstly I'd like to say the receptionists are lovely. Good first impressions when you walk in, however it's only down hill from here really. Firstly empty hand wash dispenser in bathroom? This wasn't replaced until the next day although we did mention this at reception straight away. No hot water( it was luke warm) and the plug was broke so no bath. Not that I'd want to with no hot water. Also, no heating!! The walls are paper thin you can literally hear everything. Constant banging in the night, obviously other guests are selfish but still the walls don't help. We got moved to an executive room for our second night but by the this time any enthusiasm has gone and honestly dreaded trying to sleep for a second night so we checked out a day early. The rooms are ok but a bit dated. I could live with this if we could get some sleep and hot water. Sorry, won't be returning.

We celebrated my retirement party , it was a Grease Dirty Dancing night. The hotel was clean and of great decor, the food was beautiful , the staff couldn’t do enough to help and welcome us. Andrea the events co ordinator couldn’t do enough to ensure everything went smoothly. The entertainment was fabulous we had an amazing time I would definitely book again . The afternoon tea looks gorgeous I will certainly be giving that a try x

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the fantastic reception staff. We had booked a stay over with a grease tribute night. Absolutely brilliant from start to end. Great 3 course meal, absolutely fantastic entertainment and a superb atmosphere. Breakfast the next morning was perfect: wide range of continental and a piping hot well-cooked full English. Staff again were really friendly. Room was great and spotless. Would definitely recommend and will be back!!

Family reunion. We always stay at The Park when meeting up with family. We settle in the bar from arrival and chill, bar lunches through the afternoon and then dinner in the restaurant in the evening. All the staff are great, professional but more importantly friendly, they do everything they can to make your stay the best. The food is delicious from the bar meals to the restaurant. Compliments to the chef, delicious meals every time.

Stunningly beautiful hotel , top class service.

The 1 star is for the bathroom which was clean and I just about had a shower after waiting 10mins for the water to heat up. The rest of the room was terrible, the bed was awful and the room was like sleeping in a furnace as the temperature control valve had been removed from the radiator. I couldn't even open the windows because of the lock. Needless to say I didn't get a wink of sleep.

Staff were super friendly except the receptionists. Both night and day shift. They were alright but not as friendly the other staff were though. The waitress at the restaurant was so kind and helpful. I wished to make my breakfast a bit different dish out of their menue and she did.

Nice friendly staff, comfortable bed, 24hr reception

Awful. We turned up and were blown away by the design of the reception, alas that where is where the pleasantness ended. The room is very outdated, chair had stains, not properly dusted, as you will see in the photos the room had mould coming through, the extraction fan, I'm amazed actually worked. The bathroom was never cleaned properly. We had the room cleaned every day and everyday those stains were on the sink. There was an old header behind a wooden frame, no fan or air conditioning. And we only had two working lights. We had one meal at the hotel and that was enough. The breakfast was small and limited, not nearly enough, the continental buffet was a selection of five cereals, no oats, yoghurt, pastries or anything. And for what you got it was far too expensive. The staff were not particularly friendly, and just took thing away from the table without asking. Quote possibly one of the worst places I have ever stayed in or eaten at.

My daughter came here to wedding fair almost 3 years ago now, seeing what they had to offer ( & the wedding packages/ offers/ & prices ) her & her fiance booked in there wedding & date there & then. My daughter & son-in-law were extremely satisfied with all aspects of their special day, before/ during/ & after, so thank you very much to all the staff at The Park Hotel, who contributed to making their day a special & memorable occasion!...

Room smelt stale, 2 lights not working, no soap in dispenser in bathroom, broken toilet seat. Couldn't fault chambermaids and waiting on staff. Breakfast OK. No one on reception when we arrived, no one on when we left. And when he was there we found his manner very unprofessional. Needless to say we won't be returning!

We had our wedding here on the 24th of Sept 2021,from the very beginning when we 1st went nothing was too much trouble at all,the hotel is nothing like the outside & quite surprising,also knew the minute we walked into the aintree suite this is were we want our wedding.Everyone from the bar staff to the front desk to our wedding planners Emma & Andrea to Keith the hotel manager.Food was great especially the canapés after the ceremony.The day just flow almost seamlessly & into the night.Thanks very much from ste & sharon pickup 👍

A cracking venue for a wedding reception 👌 excellent staff, there to help with all your needs
