Food was cold. Tasted nothing like Lebanese food.

We were very impressed when I dined with my family yesterday in the Grand Lebanon restaurant. Excellent food taste and presentation. Waiting time was very little, very friendly staff and the place is very clean. We need more restaurants like this and no one should miss to try their food and this nice experience. Congratulations and well done Grand Lebanon!

Horrible attitude of the service there from the manager, and always shouts without no reason. We ordered last night thru just eat and cancelled the order and kindly called him to let him know that we cancelled the order but he didn’t respect us and was very rude and impolite, asked where are you from and been bad to me Please be careful !!!!

One of best experiences for middle eastern food, rich test, wide and luxurious sitting area, beautiful decoration with selaction of arabic music playing. The fact it's family business and friendly owners make us more comfortable. I highly recommend it for couples, families, groups and celebrations 🍾 ❤️

Great restaurant. The guy that served us was really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, I had lamb shank and the meat fell off the bone. Delicious. The music was good and wasn’t too loud like other places we’ve been where you have to shout to hear eachother. Will definitely be returning here.

We went to have lunch with family as I have personally visited here before. We ordered shared hot and cold starters, salmon, shawarma, steak and chicken kebabs and rice. Starters weren't the best to begin with. When the steak arrived, it was very well done and was very dry, rice was too salty. ( we weren't asked how we wanted the steak) As a feed back we told the that the food was a bit salty and steak was way too cooked. It was the attitude from the staff and ? owner of the restaurant that surprised me. He asked where we are from and said this restaurant is the best in Hull and our feedback is suspicious. We were treated poorly for a genuine feed back. It ruined our day and our appetite and we paid asap and left the restaurant immediately. I wish that I took some pics before we left. This event ruined our holidays with family. It is not justifiable a person walking around our table and checking us top to bottom as if, we were some culprits who cannot afford food. Shame to hospitality/food and beverage industry !

Food was excellent, Service was good. It was Wednesday and quiet. Will go again there is a lot of diversity on the menu and would like to try several dishes.

We came to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday and it was 7 of us. The food was ok, but the service is very slow. We waited 35 minutes for our starter, and the main course was brought out randomly one by one. My husband hadn't finished his starter yet, but he got his main course in 10 minutes, I didn't order any of the starters, and I waited 50 minutes for my main course. The positions were too big, they gave us take it away but I believe they have so much waste of food.

Rude, agressive and confrontational staff Not good quality food, presented well.

Pre cooked food served by heating, no where closer to Lebanese. Unreasonable pricing for the type of meal served.

I am staying in one of the hotels, where food is practically inedible. Most of the local restaurants do not deliver to that place because of the distance. Therefore Grand Lebanese came as a real gem. They do not just deliver the food, they cook and deliver really tasty food! I am a vegetarian, so have been ordering lentil soup, halloumi, falafels, naan bread, etc. All come of the highest quality and superb taste. A polite young gentleman brings hot food to the door within the shortest time. I do not see any reason not to give these guys a 5-star rating.

Ordered takeaway here to Beverley and came within the hour which was really nice. Food arrived warmer than I expected despite the journey and was well wrapped. I ordered the mixed Schwarma platter. I opted for rice instead and was so glad I did. The yellow rice was beautiful with I believe raisins? But was absolutely stunning with a lovely texture. Way better than if I was to order chips. The mixed Schwarma came comprised of toasted Schwarma wraps cut into smaller segments. The doner wasn’t typical kebab shop meat it’s was fresh high quality lamb. Same with the chicken. The people who made this are chefs. The Schwarma wraps were lovely with nice crunchy veg inside that totally complimented the meat. Even the garlic sauce was perfect. A lot of Middle Eastern eatery’s go wrong with the garlic making it way too bitter from using vinegary preserved garlic but this was garlic sauce was a lovely mixed of savoury and cool. The chilli was good also much better than a standard takeaway but I say that as someone who enjoys spice. It is spicy. The only thing that wasn’t outstanding was the chicken burger that my girlfriend had. But that’s her fault for ordering a breaded fried chicken burger from a place that specialises in gorgeous Lebanese food.

Great space to have a meal with kith and kin. Tasty meals. Particularly loved the calamari, halloumi, and Mediterranean spiced rice. Service could have been better.

A slightly cool and hard interior, but the food was excellent. Slow service but it was worth waiting for. Excellent starters and if anything the main courses were too big yo finish. So we took home doggy bags!

Tried this place on a random with the missis staff are very decent and polite and the mixed grill is presented very eye pleasing before you took in and it gets better first timers and will definitely be back parking is the turn left after Peirce Holme park.cant compliment this place enough.

Tonight was our second time we been to this restaurant with my family. We all love their food and their excellent service. Our favorite is the mix grill, yellow pilaw rice and fattoush salad👌Just Perfect.

Nice restaurant. It was cold when we visited. Felt like the back door in the kitchen was open? Food was good. Served by a nice young lady. Will be back wrapped a little warmer.

Extremely rude staff! I've never seen so arrogant delivery driver ( he said he is a staff from the restaurant )! Intially, He went to a wrong address although the address was clearly written and delivery instructions were easy to understand. I was more than happy to walk little bit even, came to his car crossing the road, surprisingly rather than thanking / showing even any politeness, he just started talking rudely, asking my profession, showing his anger and rudely blaming me for no particular reason saying he is a Kurdish, started talking in Arabic very rudely !!! Really a strange! Completely unexpected and weird experience! Looking at others review, I can now correlate why others mentioned about rude staffs! Feeling sorry for the Restaurant owner- losing customers just for this kind of unprofessional behaviour.

Food was exceptional, as was expected Lebanese food always is. The girl who took my order made a couple of mistakes which were rectified straight away. We went on a quiet Wednesday night and there was only one other table with people eating so atmosphere was dead but yes I recommend it and would go back in a heart beat.

Wasn't expecting Ottolenghi’s Meze. I was expecting something better than what I received. I ordered the "Meze" cost £22. I could order the set "Meze" or choose 5 dishes from the hot or cold starter menu it was supposed to be for two but a couple of dishes came with odd amounts ? I ordered from the hot starter menu: The hummus shwarma was ok , The Falefal was dire ,pitiful dry stale with a meager splash of Tahini sauce,The Kibbeh was good reminded me of what my Syrian neighbor would cook & bring around, The Arayes was nothing special , my neighbor made it& made it far better, her bread was soft not hard/stale ? The grilled Haloumi was thinly sliced, everything was served with a "salad" Chopped lettuce with other stuff totally uninspired , I cant even remember the 5th dish I ate thats how remarkable it was. I asked for a soda water with lime, I was expecting a pint of , I got a small tonic water with a slice of lemon which cost £2. I wont be going back, there are far better middle eastern cafes/restaurants in Hull which I will be returning to.

Just been there to celebrate my birthday. Well they ruined it. We ordered 4 meals. My partners meal never arrived. The waitress did not even write it down. When I went to complain about the delay they said that we never ordered it. When we saw the manager the guy was not interested to hear about our feedback but he was telling us how good they are and the number 1 food they serve. He even blamed the waitress of being a trainee and not speaking English! We paid £58 bill for my partner to starve, the chicken I ordered tasted of cinnamon and nutmeg more like I was having desert instead of dinner! Never going back again there again

I have been here a number of times with my family, and every time the staff is very friendly. The food is always nice and also very nice interior inside, the kids had a lovely time. I would highly recommend, we will be back again!

I have been into this resturant 3 times, they refused to serve me twice. I asked them why the last time, they said they cant serve me as they are under staffed, even they are actively serving only 7 customers inside the resturant, nd the resturant have more than 50+ capacity. I honestly don't know then why you have "open for dining" flashing lights showing outside when you can't serve the customer. Personally I don't like to give negative reviews for resturants but for this one I had too and I am only commenting on the service and atmosphere and not on the food as they didn't serve me the food. I might consider revisiting the resturant, nd will revisit my comment if you serve me right. Edited: For more clarity.

So disappointing….there was nothing grand about Grand Lebanon. Having eaten Lebanese food in Beirut and other Middle Eastern countries I was excited about eating here, but in all honesty the food was terrible. I received the wrong order and then a further dish was delivered to the wrong table, when I asked where it was it was taken from the wrong table and put on ours, not acceptable. What appeared to be “management” were rude and disrespectful to the waitresses in front of the customers. Would not recommend.

I am just writing here to teach the owner or the manager that he should be honest with his consumers. He put the remaining fats my colleagues left in my lamb Shawarma wrap. There was no meat at all. This was disgusting. I was fasting and ordered later than my colleagues. I informed him directly and here as well. I do not recommend this restaurant at all; even my colleagues did like the quality of the food.

I had a really bad experience at the Grand Lebanon Restaurant. They had a loud party going on upstairs, and the music was so loud that I couldn't hear the person I was eating with. Even the waitress couldn't hear our order properly. On top of that, there were kids running around the restaurant, making it feel like a playground instead of a proper place to eat. It would have been okay if it was a community center, but not for a restaurant. As for the food, it was quite underwhelming. While not outright terrible, it certainly didn't make up for the overall disappointment of the evening. It seemed that the kitchen had some potential, but the noise and chaos in the restaurant overshadowed any enjoyment we could have derived from the meal. The biggest letdown, though, was the manager's handling of the situation. The manager seemed either oblivious or apathetic to the problems caused by the loud music and the uncontrolled children. It's disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and competence from the management. A well-managed restaurant should prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of its customers, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their meals in a peaceful and pleasant environment. Unfortunately, the Grand Lebanon Restaurant failed miserably in this regard. My hope is that they take customer feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to create a more enjoyable dining experience for all. Until then, I'll be exploring other, more considerate halal dining options in the area.

We were made to feel very welcome, the service was fantastic but not as fantastic as the good which was phenomenal

Absolutely brilliant well worth the money , came tonight very last minute ring up, we wanted to try something different and this place succeed all our needs .... We got a platter with different starters which was tasty and very enjoyable then for my main I got the chargrilled sea bass and all I have to say is wow it was cooked to perfection and was humongous would of happily paid more for it only regret was I couldn't finish it haha 😆 again top notch me and my partner will be returning and also bring people with us 😊

Luv Lebanese food and here lived up to my expectations.the hummus Beiruti was delicious and enjoyed mixed grill too altho was alot to eat but enjoyed food here very much!

The food was absolutely fantastic! It was clearly made fresh and was super tasty. The service was lovely and I'll definitely be back. Only issue is the atmosphere. We were the only table in and it's such a shame because the food was really great. I think some tables outside would be nice and if the door was open it'd be a bit more inviting as when we walked past it seemed as if it was closed.

First time here so didn’t know what to expect however the food and service was excellent would really recommend anyone who likes Middle Eastern food to come here and try the food out. The price a reasonable and food was really good.

I came here for a meal with three other friends and we ordered a meze platter for four as a starter and mixed grill family feast. The meze was excellent, especially the hummus and moutabal. Nice bread to go with it. The mixed grill was nice and succulent, the chicken wings were very tasty, as were the lamb chops and chicken kebabs. We finished with a pot of excellent Arabic tea. I would highly recommend this place.

Would definitely return. Waiter was friendly and helpful. We had mixed grill for 2, salad and chips. Tasty and hot! Well worth the 30£. Waiter apologised as there was a separate function going on upstairs, but didn't ruin our visit. Lovely decor. Loved the napkin holders!!

Booked a table a week ago letting them know it was our anniversary and they said oh we will do something a little special then. Turned up tonight to find the place barren. I explained that I had booked a table and his response was "what here?". He got the diary out and the page was blank as was the previous page as well. No tables were even set! The waitress was pleasant enough but she informed us that she was new and that there was only draught beer no bottles. I asked for a gin and tonic and my wife a bottle of wine. Didn't have the wine or any tonic! After finding out what they did have we settled on bacardi and coke. Three glasses one full of ice and two with bacardi in AND A CAN OF COKE!!! I paid for the drinks and left What a pity because we have had take away from here and the food is delicious. So disappointed. Won't be returning. Such a pity!!.

Was interested in trying this place but after checking it's food hygiene report I'll pass lol 1 star won't get me near this place. 4 and 5 only .

Well I really like the food great tasty food

Venue is really nice, clean and vibrant, I had an issue with the lamb shawarma. It was really tough to eat, hurting my jaw and tasted awfully tangy? So I rang back and complained and the chef (Hassen) offered a free chicken shawarma, which was better. It's not the mistakes/issues you make, but what you do to make up for it. And these guys were okay with it. To the boss, I'm sure you realised, but please don't ask people where they're from ethnically. It shouldn't matter when you speak to people.

It was a great experience and the food was tidy and delicious. I recommend this experience

Bij verrassing een prachtig restaurant gevonden in een -niet echt mooie- straat net buiten centrum Hull. Onze vakantie in Engeland afgesloten met een diner van voortreffelijk gegrilde vis. Medewerkers super vriendelijk en netjes. Het voorafje en toetje vd zaak is ons spontaan gratis aangeboden. Weer terug in Nederland is deze topavond nu al een fijne herinnering. Oceana lounge, veel succes voor in toekomst en dat maar meer mensen jullie weten te vinden !!!

It was such a nice experiment today, I have ordered a mix grill, half chicken, hot hummos and tabula. It was such a bombastic test, on the top of that their welcome to their customers are wonderful. Loved it and definitely will go back again.

Would deserve ZERO star if possible food was horrible, attitude of the manager was the worst ever. The manager forced us to leave restaurant before finishing our food and argued and shouted loudly and my children were terrified of such bad behaviour Be aware
