As I travelled up the escalator, the mirage appeared: ‘this way for a proper flat white’. It was all that had been on my mind, as a tourist in busy London I was jumping between tube stations, exiting at each barrier in search of that silky coffee. Gramos did not disappoint, and the owner was equally lovely. Many thanks, you made my day…!

We came in for coffee only. They have a few tables so it is a pleasant place to sit rather than in the very busy station concourse. I had an oat milk flat white which was excellent - tasty, smooth and creamy.

I go to Gramos every morning for a batch brew to start the day. It’s consistently great tasting and the team are wonderful

We've been here a few times for the excellent coffee. Today the coffee was up to scratch but for breakfast I decided to have porridge which wasn't very good - the oats were raw and it was very watery. I think it just wasn't cooked long enough.

We came to the King's Cross station branch of this coffee shop which is a bit hidden away underground by the northern escalators down to the deep tube. The staff were really friendly and the flat white I had was excellent, not too milky, very smooth and great tasting.

I remember on a Friday evening in November, waiting for the spring roll we saw a nice looking guy putting chairs back to the shop. The following week we went back to check what that shop was. Found out it was a very pleasant and cheerful coffee shop, the Terra Nera itself. Since than almost every week, almost at the same time we went back to have our coffees (sometimes teas). Try all the coffees but I have only one word for Marocchino: HEAVEN.

Lovely atmosphere, food and cocktails and service was fantastic. The price of the non alcoholic cocktails though seems way to high compared to the price of the cocktails (£10 alcohol free vs £12.50-14 with alcohol) . If they had been £7-8 I would have a lot more, instead I moved on to the standard lime and soda which is a shame.

The best place to eat in KHR! Really fantastic Indian food to be had at this beautiful historic Victorian pub! Highly recommend the melt off the bone pork ribs and amazing chicken curry! Yum!
