Graffitti restaurant in Belfast

Wow, what a perfect breakfast. Great fry up, and my partner had bacon poached egg and toast. All cooked to perfection, with noticeably fresh and good quality ingredients. Soda and potato bread were top notch. Mmmm.

We had a very nice lunch, good value for money . Coffee excellent 👌

Great spot for Sunday brunch. A little quieter than some other diners on a Sunday and relatively easy to get a seat. The menu caters for most tastes and the food and service were excellent,

£8.40 for a ham sandwich and cup of tea??? The bread served is 75p per loaf in supermarket. Cup of tea £2.95 approx most places. I was the only customer there, any wonder! Rude server. Never again!

The original and still the best for breakfast and lunch on the Ormeau Road

Really bad service. The woman with white hair is so abrupt and rude. They also have a ludicrous policy of a £9.50 per head minimum spend never seen anything like it. We only ordered coffees and hadn’t realised they had this policy until afterwards. I’m sure they put a surcharge on our bill because of it. £11 for two coffees and one piece of banana bread? daylight robbery.

Very rude staff, I never had to leave table before in such a short period of time. Generally you can’t order just coffee otherwise you’ll have to pay extra. Felt very uncomfortable while sitting there and never experienced something like that before. Would not recommend! Avoid!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! STAFF SO INCREDIBLY RUDE. NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY BEFORE IN ANY RESTAURANT THAT WE HAVE BEEN TO. ONE OF OUR PARTY OF SIX PEOPLE ALSO HAD A HAIR IN THE FRY - DISGUSTING. ANOTHER PERSON IN OUR GROUP WAS A VEGETARIAN AND WAS TREATED AS IF SHE CAME FROM MARS!!

A little gem on Ormeau. While food is a little more expensive here, it is high quality and always lovely

Out of the hundreds of Coffee places on the area I don’t know why you would ever chose to go here, Very rude staff and overpriced food. Go elsewhere and get better service. Staff members being rude to other staff members isn’t a good look.

Very over priced for what it was , a five piece fry was nearly 11 quid , no value for money, I’ll take my business to Toast in east Belfast, proper fry for a great price and excellent food.

Used to go here regularly until 2020 ... fast forward to this year. Food is delicious. Very expensive now and there's a min charge. However its lost its atmosphere and the white haired lady doesn't seem to enjoy serving people or making any effort. It's not a problem as I won't be back!

Popped in on 01-06-23. The coffee was lovely and the fry was tasty. Service was good also. Cost £13.00.

Popped into this little cafe just for coffee on a busy Saturday morning. My long black (Americano) was fresh & hot and served in no time at all. I chose to sit at one of the 3 tables outside to free up space for customers looking for a more substantial meal, and the sun was shining and all was right with the world! So, just based on the quality of the coffee & the vibe of the place, I would certainly return.

Always great food. I had goats cheese and red onion omelette. Delicious 😋

Amazing breakfast from a cafe that's been going strong for over the decades.

Had a delicious brunch here after Belfast half marathon in 2022 and wasn't disappointed on our second visit. Decent portions of freshly cooked healthy ingredients with excellent GF options/bread topped off with smooth rich coffee and warm hospitality. Keep up the good work!

£8.50 for a bacon butty (no butter, no sauce) and a black coffee ! 😬

I am amazed that this place is still open - the lady who was serving our table was rude from start to finish - asked for soup and sandwiches and they suggested that I went across the road - delays were blamed on one of our party arriving 10 mins after us but it still took over 45 minutes to serve us. A person who arrived after my friend and obviously order after us was served well before us and was leaving by the time we got our food (the same as what he had eaten). The lady did say "sorry for delay but it was your friend's fault as he was late". Asking for a drink of water was greeted with raised eyebrows and a scowl as if I was asking for a free meal. Looking at reviews, clearly she has behaved this way with others- why doesn't she just hang up her apron and go home. Food was mediocre at best and we will certainly be going "across the road" next time! Never again!

Last time, I had the honor to participate in the service quality experience of Maxol Auto 24 Carryduff in 629 Saintfield Rd. I felt that their service was really excellent. After completing the questionnaire, I went to the Graffiti Restaurant around the gas station to have a meal. The restaurantis located in Ormeau Rd. It provides many Irish specialties, which taste pretty good!

Home of the one sausage fry! Rude staff and sticky tables been in three times and always left unsatisfied never again.

The coffee I can honestly say was delicious AF! Had the Graffiti Fry Up with extra black pudding and beans. All I can say if, if I live in Belfast I’d be regular here. The two gents (a light hair lad with moustache and i dark haired lad) were on top of their game. Every table was tended to without miss even though the place was fully packed. Thank you 😊 for a pleasant experience 💚🙏🏽

My son took me for breakfast this morning to Graffitti. I had bacon and toast my son opted for Fry. The potato and soda were deep fried! Soda bread was inedible rock hard, it was obvious they were deep fried along with sausage. Sorry Graffitti no return visit unfortunately,

My brother was home on a visit and wanted to go somewhere for a fry, we ended up in graffiti, He ordered a fry and I requested a sausage, egg & toast, and was told “you’ll have to have 2 eggs they don’t come in ones” (seriously) I said I only want one and she repeated (with an attitude) they are only served in 2s! another member in our group said she would have the other egg. When the food arrived it was practically thrown at us, the sausages had been refried, and the soda and potato on the fry was burnt. I’ll not be back!!

This is my go to place for a coffee or lunch. It has a lovely friendly vibe. Lovely staff and good wholesome food with decent vegetarian and vegan choices too.

Friendly, unpretentious yet homely little cafe. One of the oldest and most popular on the Ormeau Road. Independently owned and managed, which is a nice change from some of the more big corporate offerings in the area. Stephanie is one of the lovely owners. Highly recommend.

Great local cafe, food excellent and defies what you would expect based on the decor.

Expensive and rude staff!! Ordered the all day fry and replaced fried egg with scrambled egg and that somehow incurred a £4 extra cost. When the staff were asked about the extra cost they refused to give an explanation and were very rude. Would not recommend.

Only that we were ‘trying’ to have a celebration breakfast after my son received great exam results I would have moved - out of the cafe!! During our visit most of the tables remained empty - on leaving we asked for the bill - wasn’t brought to us - so we eventually went up to pay - no bill was handed to me, no friendly ‘how was your meal?’ - just the amount shown to me on the card machine. I would not recommend anyone to visit this cafe considering the amount of other cafes in this area where you could go and be made to feel welcome and appreciated for helping out local businesses!!

Graffiti is situated beside mauds on the ormeau road the food is tasty and the staff are very friendly also plenty of vegan options for breakfast and lunch etc but if your not that way inclined try the graffiti breakfast it's all that but be early at lunch as it gets very busy at this time but it is worth the wait if you are willing to wait

Graffiti has been on Ormeau for many years, and their friendly staff and creative menu with daily specials are a testament to this. Always a joy.

Staff, lovely and approachable. Very clean and tidy. Tables very well spaced. Food, good home cooked food. Lots of flavour and didn't skimp on portions. Definitely eat here again.

The food is delicious here, also the coffee! Staff are very pleasant. Well managed and well organised social distancing set up to takeaway from the store. Can also phone ahead and arrange for collection. Graffiti is a main stay on the Ormeau Road.

Best coffee shop/ restaurant on the road

The original ormeau road cafe. This place was operating long before the ormeau road was trendy. Love the food and staff. Great food, great prices....AND LOCALLY OWNED, unlike some other places on the road. Have been going here since it opened around 30 years ago, and hopefully have my wake there lol ( after all, its is byo!@!)

The food was good dont get me wrong.. but when you spend £8 on a fry I expect more than one sausage and 1 bacon. Even some beans on the side would have been nice.. its the first fry I've had in 4 years than after eating it I was still hungry

Had a delicious breakfast that set us up for the rest of the day. My spinach, tomato & onion omelette with whole meal bread was so tasty. Added to this the service was friendly & quick. Thank you, we definitely will be back - superb food & service 👍😊

2 pancakes, 2 bacon, 1 Poached egg Chicken sandwich (hardly any chicken and stale bread, pre packed salad) Bowl of chips 2 sausage 2 rounds of toast 1 diet coke 1 sparkling water £29.95 absolutely embarrassing won't be back. Was in shock when got the bill

Went here to try sth different instead of going to Caffè Nero as always. I asked for an iced moka coffee and a peanut butter and chocolate powerball,i was charged £5 for that. I think it was pricey for what it was. The iced moka coffee was tasteless, I asked for sweetener and they didn't have, just sugar. The power ball was good. Also no toilets available so go to the toilet before going here...the attention was good anyway. All I can say is: step it up, because after my experience I will just go back to Caffè Nero next time

We had brunch today as part of the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme. My husband enjoyed the fry up (it’s a proper 7 piece Ulster Fry) and I had the chorizo, tomato & Parmesan omelette. We also ordered a coffee and a sparkling water and the bill only came to £11. The food was tasty, staff friendly and the cafe itself is clean and welcoming.

Was actually flabbergasted at this cafe ! Ordered a fry which consisted of half soda 1 potato 1 bacon 1 sausage 1 egg mushrooms and tomato coating £8 I added hash brown and beans for extra £4 which was hilarious pricing I thought I also ordered standard coffee (Americano) total price was £14.65 ! Wouldn’t have minded if quality was there but it truly wasn’t coffee came first and was cold by time fry showed up ... the fry itself was basically a chip shop sausage and heavily deep fried breads and overdone hash’s even bacon was deep fried ! The food repeated on me for hours after ! Horrible to say least and heavily overpriced for a fry up

Fabulous food as always, great value for money but most importantly as always brilliant customer service. Can't recommend this wonderful little gem and it's staff highly enough.

Ordered a breakfast Fry, consisted of one bacon, one sausage, one egg, lots of fried bread, mushrooms and half a tomato. Server refused to change a tea order of coffee as she has a pot of tea already made. Going the extra mile, a little more generosity of spirit would make a big difference for the value of a teabag.

Love this place. It has a wonderful intimate an eclectic atmosphere. I love it as a spot for brunch. The Ciabatta Breakfast is absolutely delicious, especially with a side portion of black pudding. The staff are friendly and efficient. Well worth checking out.

Mediocre to say the least ! Took 22 mins from ordering to arrive ! 2 small fry’s !! Coffee was freezing by the time grub came .. dirty table , cutlery and a toilet with no lock !! Expensive !!

Steph and her team are just awesome. We stayed locally for a few days and wanted breakfast so stopped here on the first and last days. The food was incredible - great quality especially the bacon and enjoyed two amazing breakfasts. On the last day Steph recommended we visit the Botanical gardens which we did. Lovely friendly atmosphere and surroundings.

The above says a lot considering how much I enjoy eating breakfast out! But this local Belfast café is exceptional - the breakfast - I had the big breakfast - was absolutely delicious! The highlights for me were the potato bread & fried bread!Highly recommended for breakfast & the service was great too

Ordered coffee - delivered with a scowl. Don't know why the lady runs a restaurant dealing with people when she obviously doesn't want to engage or have the manners to serve her paying customers with respect. Certainly won't be going there again.

I had a new kitchen installed and had to eat somewhere reasonable . Graffiti was the perfect place. Fresh food good food and pleasant staff what more could you ask.

We have been meeting here on a Saturday morning once a month for the last year! Always consistently good... local produce Good variety and run by two sisters for many years ... can’t beat the fry!

The food is almost always excellent. And when it isn't excellent, it's just very good! The cafe always smells amazing and there is always a nice buzz about it, especially on the weekends. The girls who own it are always very welcoming, as are the staff. The coffee is also very good.

Primera visita en unos cuantos años para almorzar. Me encantó la decoración y el ambiente. El servicio fue relajado, lento y constante. Buenas opciones vegetarianas y no un aguacate a la vista! Los fritos parecían exagerados pero la ensalada era fresca y la sopa era increíble. Un poco caro, claramente no amenazado por la creciente competencia en Ormeau Road. En general, una visita agradable.

Despite a recent review claiming "Still Belfast’s best breakfast" that may be for the ciabatta, but it's certainly not for the fry up. Everything seemed deep fried - soda and potato bread were really crunchy and heavy, sausage tasted like a chip shop catering sausage and bacon was dripping in oil. I was looking forward to this but I'll go elsewhere in future :-(

Restaurante peculiar y bien establecido. Visitamos para el almuerzo. Asientos no demasiado cómodos, bastante básicos. Buena variedad de desayunos / almuerzos en el menú. Tarifa bastante estándar y tradicional. Freír el desayuno estaba bien. Burger también era decente. El graffiti no pretende ser nada pretencioso o demasiado imaginativo y se entrega a esto.

Ha pasado todo un año desde que estuve en esta joya escondida y estoy salivando ante la idea de almorzar con mi familia. ¡No hay necesidad de examinar el menú, 'Ciabatta desayuno, huevos muy suaves y una taza de té por favor! ’Sí, sin duda había un elemento de d j vu en mi conversación, pero también la satisfacción de saber qué se iba a servir en aproximadamente 15 minutos. Graffitti no decepcionó, los huevos escalfados eran maravillosamente suaves, el pan Ciabatta encantador y crujiente, el sabor del tocino intenso perfectamente equilibrado con la acidez del chutney de tomate. El cielo en un plato!

Comida de gran calidad, personal cálido y acogedor. Yo y mi familia somos comensales frecuentes en el restaurante Graffitti. Encuentro que hay algo para todos. A mi marido le encantan los alimentos básicos tradicionales, las frituras resistentes irlandesas. Considerando que me han ganado con su estilo de cocina artesanal que nunca decepciona. Mis hijos también están bien atendidos, con muchas opciones para satisfacer a los pequeños palets. Todo es delicioso, y siempre se sirve con rapidez por un miembro del personal atento y cálido. Entre la fuerte competencia en la Ormeau Road, esta es nuestra favorita de la familia. .

Stopped in here for a brunch. Gorgeous food with friendly service. Shame the front door doesn't close, my friend closed it 7 times!!! Maybe visit again in the summer lol.

Very friendly and quick service, even at the busy holidays. I would strongly recommend the burger with the homemade spicy relish. Value for money on the busy Ormeau Road.

Service was not great, seated promptly and politely but when we tried to get an older lady's attention she acknowledged us and then Preceded to bypass us to chat with her friends whom she had just seated and then never return to us at all. average food (we both had a fry) with proportions not thought through - 1 egg, 1 sausage, 1 bacon with 4 bits of soda and potato bread combined meant it was all a bit tasteless and bland. Coffee was lovely but 2 cappucinos and 2 frys with an additional portion of beans cost over £21! Not of the quality the price would suggest.

Lovely lunch here today. A nice ambience and friendly service. Omelettes, chowder and avocado and smoked salmon. Also lovely and huge cakes and tray bakes.

Llegamos para el brunch del domingo con 2 amigos que no sabían de la existencia del graffiti. La planta baja tenía todas sus mesas ocupadas, que en sí es una buena señal, así que estaban dirigidas a la zona de desbordamiento para comer en el primer piso. Bonita vista sobre el Ormeau Rd pero un poco frío.

Servicio muy amable, ambiente acogedor y relajado, el menú tiene suficiente buen variedad y buen opciones de carne gratis.

Vine aquí porque vi gente en mesas comiendo y el letrero en la puerta dice "abierta. "El chef nos miraran como me fue desde el espacio ultraterrestre, y no decir nada. Después de estar allí por un momento, me dijo "estás abierto? "Él dijo, "no. "y eso fue todo. Fue incómodo. Aquí algunos consejos para dirigir un negocio: Si eres cerrado, cambiar el signo a decir así. Y luego cerrar la puerta. Asegúrese de no parecía cerrado, y creo que fue simplemente por cómo me mira. Volvimos a este restaurante bijou para sólo la segunda vez este año. Cuando estábamos comiendo en el desayuno que nos dimos cuenta Ciabatta lo mucho que hayamos perdido la calidez hogareña del lugar y la comida estupenda.
