Visité como parte de un recorrido gastronómico por la isla de Kelham. Fue una visita indescriptible - poco ambiente, buen servicio pero nada memorable. La comida no fue genial. Tres trozos de pollo frito, insípido, tibio y grasiento en un simple bao bun. Éramos 15 en la gira, sospecho que no volverá. Oportunidad desperdiciada por el restaurante para ganar nuevos clientes.

Had a lovely evening here with friends. Only had drinks but our waitress Ellie was so helpful and friendly.

11 of us went here for a 30th birthday,, drink choice was good and reasonably priced. My daughter and her partner had the pork pad Thai and they said this was very flavoursome and value for money, I had 2 small plates which were 1 of the specials, 5 Japanese chicken pieces and a plate of 3 rice balls with fries, mine was okay but not value for money, my husband had the chicken Katsu burger served on a brioche bun, he could have eaten the same again as he thought his portion was small. It would have been fine for me, but a little small for him. Although we had an enjoyable family evening, it was a horrible rainy evening, therefore not many in and not a lot of atmosphere.

We all ordered food on a Saturday evening and some drinks. The beer was fine but the food was so salty we couldn't finish it. It was pad Thai and it was salty and disgusting and all 3 of us left it. We also arrived to dirty tables we had to request to be cleaned and the food took a long time to arrive. I will never eat here again and I hope you don't either. Even the chips were overly salty and disgusting. Do not eat here

Had a great evening went on a hen doo where we had bottomless Prosecco and afternoon tea. Really enjoyed it and definitely endless Prosecco! Soon as our bottle empty a new one came 😃.

Came for a family meal in the pod. Ordered food and drinks on the app. Nothing turned up for 45 minutes so this was then chased up to be told the app wasn't working. If it wasn't working we should have been informed as we were sat in the pod. It then took an hour and a half in total for food to come. Was told we would get a refund which has been chased multiple times. Still awaiting refund it has now been a week! The food I had was nice but I tried someone else's food as they said it was salty and wanted to see if it was just their taste... no it was awful, their food was inedible. The service and care for their customers is not at the forefront of this business's mind. The long wait and rubbish service ruined the night and the promise of a refund which still has not happened has left me with very little positive things to say about the place. Only thing I would recommend to other people thinking about coming here is... Don't bother, you'll be left disappointed. Unless you want to take photos of yourself on the swing inside the bar for the gram.

Would definitely recommend. Went with a group of friends and had use of the pod outside. Seats 8 and has a tablet to play your own music which made for a brilliant night. We all had food and we were all really impressed. Lots of competition in Kelham island but I think the amazing food and novelty of the pod, really makes this bar stand out.

Ordered food and drinks on the app as advised, didn’t turn up for an hour and a half and had to chase it up with staff twice, only to be told that the order ‘might not have gone through’ even though it had been paid for. When food finally came chips were freezing & veg pad Thai inedible because it was way too salty. Promised a full refund by staff, it’s now a week later and only 1 of us has received a £5 refund? Told to message on Facebook if the refunds didn’t go through so 3 of us have and no response.

6 of us decided to treat ourselves after a working week, a quirky place in Kelham Island with a Pod? Sound's great! We all began to get ourselves excited to enjoy a meal in the company of family. We arrive, after being told the Pod could only seat 6, they must have taken into consideration the fact that 2 members of any friend group could be conjoined, and so giving the option of 8 would be unreasonable. Conforming to all the quirky quirks of quirky Kelham Island, we got some drinks, and downloaded the App as directed to make food purchases. After deciding on our poison (for one member of the group this was literal) and sitting back at the Pod we decided to make our order. Call me old fashioned but I never realised there was a problem with ordering from the bar, or having table service, I digress... We were enjoying the pod for the first half an hour... then decided to place some drinks orders, again through the aforementioned App as it seemed as though the food surely wouldn't take much longer. Oh how wrong we were... Another half hour passes and we realise we still haven't got any drinks. Being the reasonable and understanding guests that we are, we agreed that it must have been busy at the bar (although very few people were eating)... so where was our food. After doing the awkward pick of who's going to go up and complain, I volunteered. I went to the bar, and when querying how long our food was going to take as it had now been an hour and 15 minutes, I was asked "What order?". After they decided to look at the App, they realised that believe it or not, the App doesn't actually make the food! They have to use it as well as their customers for orders to be taken! (And I thought technology had taken over!) Rest assured, a small man appears from below the counter! Introducing himself as the assistant manager, he began to bellow 'You can have the food and the drinks for free! Apologies for your inconvenience!' Fantastic! It ruined the evening as we were all pretty Hangry at this point. But at least the company were happy to accept their mistake and make an offer of condolence for the pain our stomachs had felt. So after an hour and a half waiting for food, and half an hour waiting for drinks, a week of contemplating writing a review, we are now 7 days later, with no form of refund, wondering where it all went wrong. That being said... we now know where it went wrong, we booked in at Graffiti Bar and Kitchen. Thank you for the shelter from the wind, other than that... Terrible. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Went for lunch mainly because we spotted it's a lovely little sun trap and has good beers on tap - was not expecting to be so impressed with the food. Really great depth of flavour and presented wonderfully. Generous meat portions and reasonably priced to boot. Don't usually do trip adviser but after the bad reviews came up on Google I had to hop on and give my an account of my personal experience!

ABSOLUTE SH**E - I've tasted better Thai food from Aldi - it took ateast 40 mins for it to arrive and I think that the chef had been frying and then refrying it for about 35 of those. 'Food' didn't really taste of anything except for the coconut rice tasting of coconut. I'll leave it there...then. Go to Alsiam - Eccy Road

Here’s a breakdown of what the menu should say; Pad Thai: burnt onion and cabbage served with a deep fried burnt dish cloth (apparently omelette) Don’t expect: Any noodles, peanuts, coriander or fresh ingredients (If you dare to challenge them on this alternative ‘Pad Thai’, the ‘chef’ will tell you he put the noodles in already, if you want noodles they’ll take another 10minutes). Basically don’t expect a Pad Thai. Calamari: Fried strips of mystery meat, served luke warm so the oil has chance to leave a film in the roof of your mouth. Served with burnt onion and cabbage ( Their Pad Thai staples) and crispy onion. Don’t expect: Hot crispy calamari. A dipping sauce, a lemon or flavour Sharing platter: Cold, soft, mushy bits of nothing. Don’t expect: Anything edible. Don’t tell the managers either, they’ll blame you because they did come and ask after 2 minutes if everything is ok, then dissapear when you realise it’s not, then wont/don’t apologise, nor look or talk to you for refunding the garbage they call a Pad Thai. Would’ve left five stars.... but it was disgusting. Avoid

Only called in for a couple of drinks and really enjoyed the atmosphere & service by Elaina and Ellie - friendly & a few laughs. Next time we’re in the “orb” or on the live swing 😂😂

We have previously been to Graffiti at the end of 2018 and I ordered a gluten free pad thai which was delicious and I really enjoyed. We returned tonight and again I ordered the pad thai and informed them that it needed to be gluten free, which they assured me it would. When it arrived it looked nothing like a pad thai as the noodles were brown and sticky. I had a couple of mouthfuls and told my partner it was soya sauce they were covered in. He asked the waiter to check with the kitchen. Initially he said the meal just contained traces but when I asked to see the sauce used it was normal soya sauce, full of gluten. To add to insult I could see the kitchen staff laughing as he was talking to them about it. We got a full refund for both our drinks and food but I would not be returning and it spoilt my Friday night.

Lovely place for something a little different,food great and great selection of drinks, great atmosphere and staff were lovely,would highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Came highly recommended so took a couple of friends mid week. Very limited choice of food which is a shame. Bao bun (singular) was a disappointment. Too much bun and not enough filling. Soft fries equally disappointing though flavoursome. Coconut rice was tasty and cooked...

Delicious, fresh, tasty thai food in a quirky atomosphere. Very reasonably priced and the staff were lovely and friendly. I would highly reccomend a visit here, nice coktails too!!

Absolutely to die for Thai cuisine in a funky atmosphere. Small menu but dishes are to die for. Cocktails are superb !!!! Planning next visit already!!!!!
