Grace St. Paul's in City of London, Westminster

We drank a very tasty hot chocolate there and ate both a delicious sandwich with tomatoes and avocado and a delicious sandwich with bacon and egg. As we sat there a lot of people came in to get coffee. We would love to come back here!

Price reasonable considering location. Friendly service and clearly popular with regulars.

The best breakfast baps ever! Quality ingredients and unpretentious service. Very small so not for groups wanting to sit down for breakfast. Perfect!

Nice and cozy place. If it were older it might lose its charm. Found by accident but worth going in. We tried the cheese omelette and the cheese omelette with sweet ham and they are spectacular. Maybe a bit expensive for a breakfast but quality x price, it's very worth it. 2 tortillas and a sweet ham and cheese sandwich 26 pounds. For a 1-time vacation, I recommend it.

Came here three days in a row. Fantastic food, coffee was really good as well. Lovely owners that have mastered the art of cooking perfect eggs in any kind of way. A place with some character in the anonymous City of London.

Wanted to try the sausage rolls. Visited here on Tuesday 13:00, when Google map said it to be opened. But it was closed. Sad.

Quality of food & ingredients is unmatched. Best place for coffee and food in the area. Run by lovely people too.

Proper back street hidden Gem. Best sausage roll I have ever had, lovely pastry and the meat is proper. Lovely bit of mustard in there too. £5 is a little pricey but you get what you pay for for sure.

“Grace” is the bomb!!! This “diamond in the rough” is crisp, clean, and makes a solid cup of tea / coffee… Fantastic sandwiches as well (make certain to order one or two of their signature sausage rolls)… And the owners are most charming and gracious… If you are headed to St Paul’s or the Financial District, forget the other chain or touristy coffee/tea shops in the area… THIS is where you want to start your day! 😉👍

The signs weren’t kidding as this lovely little corner coffee shop does have a tremendous sausage roll. The pastry is buttery, the sausage fills the roll, and the mustard inside is a nice touch. The bacon, egg, and cheese was also very, very good. The staff (presumably the owners) are quite friendly and efficient. If you’re near St. Paul’s, it’s a must stop.

"Gem of a place" Come here for my bacon and sausage sandwiches, really tasty and quality ingredients! I'm not a coffee drinker but looks like they do fresh coffee from a proper machine and it attracts regular customers which shows how good it is. Run by a friendly man and woman in cosy great little shop. I am so heartened there are unique places like this still around, makes lovely change from the corporate places nearby your Prets, McDonald's etc. Make sure you visit if you're in the area, you'll leave with a smile. Outstanding sausage rolls and strong dark roast coffee, Minimal seating so most takeaway, but if you can get a seat there's some nice reading material on the bookshelf.

Despite what all the other smaller coffee shops say in the back streets around here, it was the only one open, which was I suppose lucky as the coffee was very nice

The sausage rolls really are great - but so is everything wise I've had. The fresh bread and sandwich ingredients are top notch. The folks manning it can be a bit brusk, but it's a busy spot in a big city at lunchtime and they're not wholly unfriendly either. All in all would recommend for a good quick bite.

We booked an AirBnB a few doors down the lane way, and came across this gem of a cafe. It was our meeting place for the three mornings we were in London. Great coffee, best sausage rolls in the universe, and perfect omelettes. Their playlist is second to none, but what made the experience memorable were the owners, and the host of regular patrons that put up with us “Americans waving our money around”…said all in fun. We had to set them straight that we were in fact Canadians. If you don’t like dry British humour, avoid this place, but just know you would be making a big mistake!!

Fantastic coffee shop with excellent sausage rolls and sandwiches for breakfast. The owners are welcoming and cheerful. We enjoyed visiting this shop 2 days for our visit to London. We would highly recommend this place and we will return.

The best espresso coffee I have ever had was from here. Really great food for breakfast. My wife does not like sausage rolls but absolutely loved theirs. Phil the owner is a lovely guy and and a pleasure to meet. Would definitely come back again when in London. All the best.

Wow. I get what the fuss is about. Yes they might be £5 but try the sausages roll and tell me it's not worth it. Mighty decent cup of coffee too.

5 stars for the Coffee, it’s up there with the best I’ve had in London and reasonably priced. Had a egg & bacon sandwich which was nice but overpriced I feel at £6.5, even for central London.

Phil & Cathy are awesome and have built a great following in the local community over the past several years. Sausage roll & espresso is my go to, but there are always some interesting and tasty lunch options.

A tiny place that packs a fantastic combo on food & coffees. Always has a guest coffee from somewhere. Lovely couple who run this place & if you like cricket then a good conversation.

Did you know that you can get an excellent barista oat milk flat white for £3 here? That’s great value for money, compared to nearby spots that shall remain nameless... 👌🏻

Great coffee and breakfast and lunch options! Best sausage and bacon sandwiches in the area by a long way. Fantastic hot and cold lunch options with a ‘traditional’/homely style and amazing daily specials too - watch out for the cottage pie when it comes around. In general everything tastes great because care is exercised in choosing great tasting ingredients. Friendly team who run the place with an irreverent and quirky style.

Bought a bacon roll, which was very good, however, the capped man wanted to charge more than last time, I was very surprised by his rudeness, will not come back.

If you are the confrontational type and are in for a laugh, our just a few bangs, go in for a chat with this character. We went in for a couple of espressos, and the whole experience was nothing but unpleasant from beginning to end, regardless of our attempts to make light of the situation. But hey, if you are in for a bloke who will get confrontational, unpleasant and even give you your money back, don't even look back. If you like good coffee, pleasant atmosphere and something of the normal customer-patron domain, stay well away. This is for people who like confrontations.

I love this place! Delicious, fresh and interesting sandwich selection. Chicken broth is a real treat. The people that run the cafe are lovely (maybe the peeps who say otherwise caught a bad moment - i've been lots and always see smiles).

It's stunning! Our only issue was how many war heros are honored... Seems very military heavy for a place of worship... But that's just my perspective...

Found this little gem near St Paul’s, perfect little hole-in-the-wall type cafe serving great coffees and sweet and savoury pastries to commuters. Had excellent flat white and a delicious sausage roll. Well worth seeking out

The food is just okay - Sausage rolls are good as is the chicken broth - but the rolls and sandwiches are bland and the bread is too rustic and dry. The reason I don't go there though is the owners are just miserable. In the service industry, a smile goes a long way.

Worked in Blackfriars and as an Aussie finding Grace was a godsend. Went here multiple times weekly for the best flat white I found in my 8 months in London (and I never had to wait longer than 5 minutes from walking in the door). The owners are amazing and although I didn’t get to try the food everything looked great. 100% go down and support this local business instead of the horrible chains that surround it.

Don’t go anywhere else if your looking for a coffee or a quick bite around this part of town. Sausage roles to die for ... most people I know have had to impose self rationing so they can still fit into their clothes!

Great place to grab a sandwich to go - sour dough bread is excellent and the fillings are very tasty - proper stuff, no pre-packed here. Sausage rolls are splendid too.

Popped in for a take away lunch. Bought a Chicken and Tarragon 'Infamous' roll and a slice of banana bread. Both were examples of how great something simple can be. Highly recommend.

I was worried about there being so few reviews and whether there were some fake ones, but this place is really nice. The coffee is as well made as any, I loved my sausage pastry, and the guy that runs this place it is funny and genuine. He plays some wonderful tunes in the joint that will entertain you while you wait for your carry-out eggs.

I have been coming by this little corner for years. It has a very loyal following. The couple who run the place are foodies themselves. With that in mind they ensure top notch ingredients. The food is simple but really good, something you grab quickly and so much better than a pret or much of the other near by food. It is worth walking the block of the beaten path to find them. T

Go on- treat yourself- a sausage roll from Grace will cost twice what you'd pay for the one from Greggs. I buy them for my colleagues but am too mean to buy the from me. The shop is a delight in every respect and so is the sausage roll. Brings out the artisan in you!

I pop in to have a coffee and omelette frequently and this has to be one of the best artisan true service orientated places in london, Phil and Cathy really care for their customers.

Went a couple of times with colleagues for lunch and had salads, but was not too impressed by the size or the taste. Not very good value for money in my opinion either, but colleagues love it and come back regularly.

Grace is happy to publish accolades from the press although I am unsure as to who would give them a great review. The food is ok but does not justify its price tag. The coffee generally has no flavour and their bacon sandwiches are quite frankly bland.

This is a superb cafe near to St Paul's cathedral. Try their bacon butties (£3) and sausage rolls (£2.50)...guarantee you will not be disappointed. Amazed they are not already on TA.

Small, family - owned, everything is fresh and delicious, including the espresso and coffee. A real find amid the mass-manufactured sandwich and coffee shops in the neighborhood.
