What can I say about gourmet kitchen their food is fresh and super tasty, you can see that the burgers have been made fresh and are it dripping in grease, the bbq chicken loaded fries were to die for and a huge portion, it arrives hot and the drivers are friendly would definitely recommend

Family treat night and what a treat it was. Mushroom Stilton steak burger, cooked to perfection melt in the mouth deliciousness, perfect stringy melty cheesy chips, didn't hear a peep from the kids for a record breaking few hours afterwards, they were full ... this almost never happens 🤣🤣

Ordered a Vegi and a Rodeo with their skin on chips - couldn't have been more pleased!! The burgers were huge and amazing quality, especially loved the onion rings in the burgers - wonderful touch.

Ordered food from Gourmet Kitchen a few weeks back, couldn’t fault the food. Massive portions for quality prices. Couldn’t fault anything about it, arrived when it said it would & was boiling. Would definitely recommend & be ordering again.

First time ordering tonight was highly recommended by some friends sweet potato fries to die for best I've ever had and a very generous portion, unfortunately my bacon stack burger was very peppery to the point that was all I could taste and the burger was quite dry

Have ordered a few times over the past year and Will continue to be a customer the food is always top notch and great quality.

Ordered 4 pizzas which looked very nice and freshly cooked to order, dough was lovely, taste was good but fresh tomatoes on them made the bases so soggy that you could only really eat the outside edges. Unfortunately threw more away than we ate. A good tomato sauce on the base would make the pizza so much better as would not be soggy. Staff were lovely and cannot comment on other food they prepare.

Good proper burgers and the loaded chips are always amazing :') Does sometimes take abit longer than expected but worth the wait!

Can't fault this place and I've ordered quite a few times previously. Our favourite item is the Rodeo Burger. Always very friendly staff and the owner always very polite and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else for our burgers.

So last night we ordered our 1st gourmet kitchen. As we’d seen and heard a lot of good things, we ordered dead on 5 as they get really busy, when our food came we couldn’t wait to get stuck in! And that we did it was amazing it’s nice to have a takeaway that puts the effort into its food and not just gets the orders in and smashes the food out. The menu was a good size and there something for everyone! I’ve never been soooo full in my life and will deffo be ordering from there again!! Thank you!

Just had my 1st order...Outstanding food. I had the smokey Joe, sriracha chicken fries and some dill pickles. My mother had the classic burger and chilli loaded fries. Amazing food, delicious and boiling hot.Delivery was 15 mins earlier than requested on app... That in itself speaks volumes of how good your service is.Thank you...im off for a nap

I could compare the burgers to the stuff that someone would pay £50 for in a top restaurant. The burgers are absolutely amazing, the onion rings are to die for and also the chips you cant get anywhere but here with their unique flavor! I order from here every week with out fail at 17:00 sharp. - I hope these guys get their electricity problem real soon!

- The burgers were very nice and still slightly warm when they eventually arrived, which was 75 mins late. - The chips and onions rings arrived cold and soggy; they were virtually inedible. - We ordered a portion of the Sriracha loaded fries, which were just cheesy chips with some bland pulled meat on the top, no spice or kick to them at all.- We ordered a can of Diet Coke, but received a can of full fat coke, which was in the bag of food so was warm; actually warmer than the chips! A very disappointing first experience of Gourmet Kitchen.

I am a regular with this takeaway, the food is so delicious! The delivery time can be a while, but I personally don't have a problem with this, I know the food is so popular, because it tastes so good, and everything is also cooked fresh! And you can definitely tell. The loaded chips with pulled chicken and saracha sauce... Too good! I cannot wait for this lockdown to be over so they can have access to all their suppliers properly again for their full menu, but I know it will be worth the wait. I managed to try the skewers once, they were lush! The fries varies from time to time, again supply issues the owner has mentioned, but i quite like the surprise of which type of fries are arriving because they're all really yummy. Burgers are proper juicy too! Regular customer so I have once had an issue which was rectified right away, can't even remember what the problem was so couldn't have been that bad. Inedible expensive crap.My partner and I ordered two burgers (one beef, one chicken) and a fries, to see what the hype was all about.It took nearly two hours to arrive, and was still 20 minutes later than their designated just eat time...Ok. It happens, i get it. Must be busy, which is a good sign! Im excited!Trying to contact via the telephone number: +441633480048Just ended in a message saying you have dialled an incorrect number.Upon arrival i asked how i could contact the store, to which the delivery girl stated:"we dont have a number as its not a proper shop... I can give you the owners number if you need it?"In my naivety i said no thanks. Itll be fine, the foods here now.Fastforward to opening our food....Wow... Where to start...We unwrap the foil hoping for a five guys style burger, only to be greeted by a burnt smell, as if our food had been rubbed in coal and carbon. Yummy... My partners beef burger, and my chicken burgers buns, had a black circle across the top. A sign of sitting under the hot lamp too long, and burning. Great start.Due to the smell and visuals we opened the beef burger bun, to see the burger itself was burnt black, and as i tried, it was cold, and as dry as my nans elbow...All the salad - wilted and soggy. Again. Another sign of being sat around sweating under a hot lamp.Chicken burger next. Upon picking it up, oil seeped through the sodden buns. The visually appealing fried chicken, must have been scooped from the fryer, straight to the bun, as i have never had such a wet, greasy bottomed bun... You can make your own puns for this one!I bit into the burger to find the edges were grey, dry and tough from either overcooking or sitting too long... Again... Inedible gruel.... DisgustingLastly, chips.Opened the box and found that somehow the chips were soggy on the outside, but dry on the inside... New experiences all round. Thanks gourmet kitchen!Another sign of chips sitting in a box sweating for up to 2 hours before being delivered. Great.Now, all of this was annoying, ESPECIALLY at a £20 price!But to top it off...I finally get a contact number (owners mobile, no landline for the shop) as i pestered them on facebook.This man was aggresive and rude from the get go.He kept repeating that i cant get a refund in store; only on just eat, that there is NO WAY the burger could be cold, and that if i didnt like it, then its not to my taste, because people always like it.I dug my heels in and stubbornly argue back and forth for at least five minutes before he even acknowledged the burnt buns, to which he stated that they are "toasted not burnt"...Okay mate.... Keep telling yourself that...He still did not accept that the food was subpar to say the least, and i must be wrong/lying about the food being cold as he asked his driver the temperature of the bag they were in...To end the call i stated that all he had to do was apologise and offer a sincere response... Not attitude and snarky answers, as if he was going to outwit me and get me to back down... Damn you really called my bluff! Touchè good sir!Even the just eat response from my short review (which i cant edit now), argued that i must be wrong, and did not address the state of the burgers sent to me... No restaurant would be proud to serve what i was given. I dare him to eat whats left in my trash.... Ill even microwave it to a warmer temperature than i received it. Because i care what i serve. Gourmet kitchen... You make me laugh

Sadly, my husband has a stomach disease which prohibits him from eating in restaurants. He has craved a good burger for a long time. Today was the day for that to happen, so I read the reviews of Gourmet kitchen and decided to treat him. Unfortunately our food arrived 45 minutes after I received a text to say it was on the way, and the owner had telephoned me to say that the driver could not find my address. The burger was luke warm and the chips were cold and rubbery as a consequence of the long time it took to deliver. Sadly this was not the experience I had hoped for for my husband. However, the presentation of the burger was excellent and had it not been cold, would have met our expectations.

I don’t usually leave reviews but for this place I just had to! We ordered from here for the first time through JustEat and it is now an instant favourite! We ordered two burgers, onion rings and chips and everything tasted incredible! Homemade and much higher quality than the standard pub grub we were considering going out in the cold for. Without a doubt the best burgers we have ever tasted! There was a slight mix-up with our order so we called the restaurant, the manager ran our missing chips out to us himself straight away.Lovely food, lovely service, will definitely be eating here again!

I found out that Gourmet Kitchen delivered a Sunday Lunch, so thought I'd give it a try. So glad I did! An excellent Chicken Lunch with all the trimmings. Fresh & tasty, will definitely be ordering again. Great service.

I was late collecting food, the owner was very polite about it. Kept my food hot in the hot oven. Food was still perfect although I was about 20 minutes late.

If you're looking for quality food, great service at a reasonable price, this is the place to go! Insane quality burgers that make your mouth water, fresh salads and chutneys served by a really welcoming and friendly staff. I highly reccomend this place and be sure to give their gourmet burgers a try!

Can't recommend this place enough. Like the title says, Great food and even better customer service. Me and the girls in work order most Fridays and it is definitely the highlight of our week. The breakfast French stick is the stuff of legends and they even offer Sunday dinner, what more would you want?

Recently tried the gourmet kitchen for the first time since it's re-opening. I had the 12oz steak burger with all my favourite necessities- what a burger it was! Juicy, quality, flavoursome meat served inside a beautiful brioche roll, topped with the finest salad and bacon in town!

Wow what a superb dinner, boiling hot when delivered , on time and absolutely delicious! This is going to be a regular with us. Thank you so much!

Asked for something to go with chips for my dinner. Was recommended the burgers which has peppers in them, was also advised on how to cook them. Absolutely stunning meal resulted. Try them people, you won't be disappointed.. Always friendly, caring service. Thanks guys.

Premises spotlessly clean, owner so helpful nothing too much trouble. Sandwiches taste fresher than if I’d made it at home. I wish they sold the bread on the premises as well. So much choice, I will be trying a breakfast, or burger next time, but will certainly be taking a sandwich home as well.

We visited today after seeing a few posts on Facebook, so glad that we did! Coffee is so much nicer and more affordable than the big chains in town. Wraps were made in front of us with fresh ingredients, so tasty and chunky - great value for money. The owner is friendly and engaging, we will definitely be using GKT as our new regular.

After reading the reviews on here and facebook I popped in to gourmet kitchen and wow I'm glad I did. The man behind the counter recommend their home made chilli con carni so I went with that. Definitely the best chilli I've ever had, the shop itself is small but is very nice inside, big menu and great choice. The owner is very polite and professional too which is refreshing. I definitely recommend gourmet kitchen.

Called in for lunch and ordered a chilli burger, absolutely fantastic, delicious and probably one of the best burger I’ve ever eaten. It does take longer than average to prepare, but this is due to everything being freshly prepared and cooked to perfection, this is not a fast food restaurant so the wait is well worth the wait as the quality is excellent.

Went in the week for a chicken burger and sweet potato and salad and service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend in going here . Plus the owner will explain everything about their food n what is in it and we're it comes from .

Today my wife and I visited this lovely place and we both had an amazing chicken fillet burger that was made whilst we waited. The burgers were hand made and they were huge. I was warned they were big but opted for the double and it was massive. The food tasted as good as it look ed and I would recommend to all.

Came in this week had a burger tried an amazing chilli con carne was amazing also sampled a kebab best I've ever tasted. loved the food! I would definitely go there again.

I've been to gourmet kitchen takeaway several times now and the food is always good. Yesterday i ordered two bacon sandwiches, the bread was super fresh and the bacon was lovely and thick, none of this crappy water filled cheap bacon you often get in cafés and takeaways. Both the gentlemen in there are very nice and always have a chat with all of their customers. The different options in there mean you can add whatever you like to your sandwiches, baked potatoes, breakfasts etc etc, I'm definately going again next week for one of their homemade burgers with a cheese crisp! They are just gorgeous and 100% fresh!

I'm not a fan of takeaway food BUT was in the area and popped in.

This is the second time I've visited GK and it didn't disappoint. Firstly the friendly and welcoming staff greet you as soon as you walk in. Secondly the food is amazing, fresh produce displayed and homemade gorgeous food. Thirdly the guys are always accommodating when it comes to dietary requests. If you're ever in the area drop in you won't be disappointed.

I came here for a burger as I heard they were the best. And yes they really are, the menu is fantastic, it has so many options to suit everyone and there’s a good selection of drinks hot or cold! Really lovely good quality food here, cooked fresh to order, and served by friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble! Serves breakfast items all day, and their complete breakfast roll is huge, with thick bacon, sausages, fried egg, plenty of well cooked mushrooms (that aren't like the mushy little slugs you get other places) and proper black pudding! It's fantastic value but I agree I have to eat mine with a knife and fork because there is so much of it (and I'm generally messy). The burgers are made and cooked in front of you and you can go as big as you like! Superb little takeaway. I just wish it was open in the evening for when I get home from work! Highly recommended!!!

The classic burger and tuna mayo jacket potato we had today was absolutely gorgeous, prepared right in front of you and served hot and fresh with plenty of salad of your choosing. The owners are so polite and chatty, it's easy to see just how passionate about passionate they are when it comes to hearty food, local business and excellent customer service.

I went to gourmet kitchen takeaway. They served great food. Had a steak burger tasted amazing. Whould recommend eating here.

Went in for beef burger, one had cheese the cheese was grated not the normal sliced cheese, board said came with onions, tomatoes etc. We had none of this just a burger in a roll with tomato sauce. When asked why not was told you can have it if you want. But I was expecting it to be included as standard.
