Recently had a Chinese takeaway from here, normally food is hot as I was waiting in the takeaway for my order to be cooked, but this time the food was warm?

Lunch time . Both Fish and chips we ordered were overcooked and I suspect - re-cooked from previous day. Bought this for my mum who is 86 and she couldn’t eat half as batter and fish too hard . The food wasn’t prepared in the front fryer but out the back and out of view, so cannot confirm it was reheated as I couldn’t see it being prepared. Also ordered a battered sausage which was only about an inch long when we got it home . May be better in evening but awful on this occasion. Will not go again .

This is a very popular take away serving a Chinese menu and also a chip shop option .large range of choice,good food ,free parking extremely close by .there is also a mini market opposite so you can pop and shop while you wait which someone can be a while ,due to popularity.the staff are very efficient at working through the queue.xx

We ordered by phone, were given an estimate as to how soon it would be ready. We collected the food, which was ready and waiting for us - and really enjoyed the well prepared food items!

This place is very inconsistent. Sometimes the food here is excellent, other times it can be quite poor. Numerous times we've had items missing from our order but they always remember for the next time. Unfortunately, they only take cash too.

Only thing more current than the 70s are the prices. - cash only (not just lack of contactless / Apple / Google pay, I mean NO CARD MACHINE) - no online ordering - Vast majority of the info online is posted by customers. I only found the opening times because a customer posted a pic of the printed menu. Just feels like they’re doing the utter bare minimum and seem uninterested in how difficult that makes it to give them your business. On the other side the people are friendly and barring some occasional instances of inconsistency the food is good.

Best Chinese food ever! Will not go anywhere else. Shame they don't deliver but we'll worth collecting. They never get your order wrong, tasty and always warm.

More than just normal range of Chinese food. Good set menu selection and thai and chefs recommended. CASH ONLY! ready parking. Telephone ordering. Fast service.

Very nice food, can be a little hit and miss though. Some weeks it's great, others its not quite so good. Good portion sizes and short wait times.

Fish and chips or Chinese, perfect for my family. Cash only, so grabbed some from the londis next door. The machine charged me £1.99 for the withdrawal. Good selection for the chinese. Ordered and waited, came out in 10 minutes. All happy with food.

For 8 p.m. on a Friday night I expected so much more than stale cardboard chips and a nutcracker battered sausage. It's a shame as I had a semi decent "meal" from here before but tonight it was just a s***show. Having worked for a fast food company before, the food I was served tonight had been left under a hot plate for some time and was barely edible. I can only assume the reason this company has stayed in business is because there is not any other choice around. Good for convenience bad on every other level

Very Happy first time user! Lived here for a while, have had good fish and chips here previously but this was the first go at the Chinese food. Quality good, portions very good, we don't do small servings in our house, but the meal for two would have fed 4 very happily. It was ready at the stated time. No reason to deduct even one star. UPDATE - just used them again today. Still v good!

Sometimes amazing. Sometimes very average. Always hit and miss here. Give it a go.

Nearly all my meal was ok but for the chicken balls due to when I bit into one it was still pink inside. It put me off the rest of my meal due to that.the crispy chilli beef was very nice but after the chicken ball i could not eat any more.

Chips not nice and fish was grey, very thin and mostly batter... Stay clear

Food is very good, but please expect a longer wait than advised until your order is ready, they get very busy.

Nice food, service was confused and slow. They mixed our order with someone else's.
