The food here is great. Hands down one of the tastiest burgers around. The sweet potato fries and blue cheese dip are highly recommended too. Service and atmosphere is friendly and very relaxed. The team here work well together and couldn't do enough to ensure we had an enjoyable meal. Thank you

Great food, even better service

On the technically -1st floor by TGI Friday's, I had missed this place the previous night. Got here finally and the food was excellent - best milkshakes in the Resort World options, also. Rochelle made sure to make our trip from far away a good one!

Rochelle was awesome! She helped us, and got us so epic shakes on a toasty day. Great service!

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because I didn't get any. At the beginning everything was okay... I got a card and was told to choose something. However, she didn't come back so I could order. I waited 30 minutes and then left. The waitress had time for her cell phone but not to take my order. Sorry, but something like that just doesn't work for a restaurant.

As a regular customer, I can confidently say that this place consistently delivers a fantastic experience. The burgers are great, and the service is both friendly and efficient. I've never had to wait long for my order, which is a huge plus. While I thoroughly enjoy my visits, I do have a minor concern regarding the recent menu change. The Californian burger was my favorite, and it's a bit disappointing that they replaced the handmade bean patty with a Quorn chicken fillet. I understand this isn't the fault of the Resorts World restaraunt, but I hope GBK's owners might reconsider this decision. Overall, GBK Resorts World remains a top spot for me, and I highly recommend it for anyone craving a delicious burger and excellent service.

i want to express just how amazing rochelle is she was such a diamond my daughter had full autistic meltdown and she was so supportive and helpful. i cannot express just how much she touched my heart. She is such a credit to your restaurant

Absolutely appalling service - initially seated outside only to be told by another member of staff we couldn't order food outside and would need to wait for a table inside. We prompted staff several times that we were waiting and were told that we would be seated at the next available 2 seater inside. However, we then watched staff seat people from the queue. Would not recommend - waisted half an hour just waiting for a table. In addition, another member of staff started complaining about the waitress who seated us outside to other customers. Very unprofessional. Left and went to Five Guys.

We were hosted by Alexis who was very attentive and met all the neds of our large party. The food and service could not be faulted. Well done to all at GBK World Resorts, I would recommend to anyone who needs some good food at the NEC.

A mixed review really but we left with such a good impression. Their customer service is amazing! We had an allergy in our group and the staff were fantastic about making sure our needs were accounted for. However, our food took forever and was barely warm when it arrived. We asked why it had taken so long and got an offer to re-do the meal. We were starving so ate it as was. At the end of the meal we were approached by staff with an offer to refund the all of our burgers. Highly recommended just for the customer service alone.

We decided to come here for a change. And I wish I didn’t bothered. Spend ages on the app trying to figure it out and use it, to then only go up and pay in the end. Drink arrived after a little wait. My friends food was great. But my vegan food was horrible. Cold in the middle and burned on the outside. The picture shown is what I left, didn’t receive a check back to see how the food was. I saw the staff walk past us multiple times. And look at our table and never once asked us. Staff are hardly on the floor. And I believe the guy owner? Was just chilling on a table with a laptop. And helping when needed. But isn’t really focusing on the customers he has in store. There is two floor staff members and I’m guessing one in the kitchen. Not very busy in here. Only three tables full. The staff rather just stand around and gossip. I won’t be coming back here again. This is not how customers should be treated. We paid for a service. And I feel like I didn’t receive that. Actually went to TGI Fridays afterwards for actually hot food! My advice to anyone who is planning on coming here. I was avoid and go to anything else.

Our lovely provided great entertainment to pass time while waiting for our food. Food was spectacular 100% would recommend.

Decided to try somewhere new for my monthly cheat meal, and was not disappointed. I ordered (for click & collect) through the app, which was extremely easy to follow, contained a helpful allergen (contains/may contain) page, and even gave a small discount to the order! I went with “The Mighty” (medium rare w/ an extra beef patty, grilled chicken breast, bacon & a fried egg), some chunky chips & a milkshake because my eyes were far bigger than my stomach lol. I have a mild gluten intolerance, and was happy to see a wide range of gluten free options, as well as the ability to free-write details about my allergen on the order (which I did). Parking was easy enough, it is resorts world / NEC after-all, although I could see it being a bit difficult at peak times if a convention were emptying out etc. Not knowing the layout of resorts world / exact location of GBK did prove a little difficult to locate it at first, but nothing that wandering about for 10mins or so (plus actually looking at signs) couldn’t help. Upon arrival, I was greeted by multiple friendly members of staff who were more than happy to help with any questions I had, and who also wanted to double-check I understood that the chips I’d ordered would be fried in the same oil as other flour (gluten) containing products. It was only after I confirmed I was okay with this that they then added it to my order. I’m extremely grateful for all of the above effort shown about my gluten intolerance, a lot of places don’t even bother to do the minimum, so I really appreciate it when people do. Especially as this was all done within the context of a late order on a Sunday afternoon/evening. As for the food itself, it was great! The beef exactly medium rare, the chicken breast was superb, I couldn’t fault it, and it was still nice and warm after the ~25min drive home too! The closest thing to a “complaint” that I might have was that the gluten free bun was a little dry, but tbh, I’ve had a lot worse and few better, it was nothing a little bit of sauce couldn’t fix. Overall, had a great experience, with some delicious food and will definitely be back again!!

Myself and five friends came in on a busy Saturday, two with allergies with made ordering a little difficult but Rochelle our server (pink hair and undercut) was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We would come back here just for her! :)

Came here after another resteraunt next door let us down. We arrived very late but Rochelle was very welcoming and didn't make us feel like a nuisance. Rochelle was a star and our order was taken and our food came quickly. Will come back again.

Visited here 3 times. I ate at least 2 burgers on each visit. What I can say is they don't care cooking instructions. Every time I ordered Medium Rare - pink and juicy, the first time was good then they just gave me a burn food. In these disappointing experiences, I noticed that they also don't clean the grill which was causing burn taste and carbon on the food. I will not give any more chance and disappointing experience for GBK. I don't want to pay at least £13 for a burn burger again.

Visited at 3pm on a Friday. Was quite busy but a table was found for us quickly. Ordered via our phones (which the Server recommended) and our drinks and food arrived quickly. Food was tasty, hot, great portion sizes and worth the money. The Mon-Fri before 5pm offer on drinks is excellent value. Staff were friendly. We would visit again 🙂

We were eating at the Gourmet Burger Kitchen with a big group. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. Food was served in a timely manner without preordering which was a nice surprise and the burgers were cooked on point and tasty. Overall a nice experience and a good restaurant in the Resort World Area.

Best customer service in Birmingham

We had 2 mighty burgers one naked. Being first timers we forgot to order chips. Our waitress Rochelle was brilliant and come to our rescue with a fries each as well. Our visit here was great and I'd highly recommend eating here. And if you get the pleasure of meeting Rochelle you'll be well looked after and your visit made enjoyable.

Happy with my choice of burger with chicken tenders as a side which we're very tasty. Some of the tables (for 2) are a little too close to the food kitchen/counter sadly, but everything else good and team were on it.

I.went into this unit today..I arrived at 2000,.ordered on the app and waited 20 minutes for a.milkshake.to arrive. The.waitress said sorry for the delay .I then waited another 20 minutes for my meal to arrive. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy tbh. There seemed.to be a lack of staff as lots of the tables surrounding me were cluttered with dirty plates The burger was okay but the length of waiting time wasnt

The Atmosphere and Service was excellent, we received the meals quickly and ordering was easy, we was also seated quickly as well. Our server Mia was very polite and helpful, and I can't thank them enough. The burger I ordered was the Mighty, it was delicious and I feel for its price, it was rather good if not slightly small, but I would happily buy it again. I also ordered some onion rings as a side, I didn't enjoy them which is why I have gone down a star, they were I felt very overpriced for what they were and personally wasn't to my taste - however as a whole I had an excellent time and I'd recommend it to anyone passing through.

We came in GBK after an event night at the NEC around lunch time. Simon greeted us at the door and was very helpful and informative about the specials menu. Food was fab, reasonably priced and arrived in timely manner and was just what the doctor ordered. I’ve never had a bad experience at GBK and this one was no different. 😁

Chose to eat here right at the last minute and the staff were happy to get me seated without a reservation. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant and the food was really good. Burgers were excellent, really decent quality and served quickly. If anything could be better it would be the choice of beer on tap. Beer goes well with burgers and this is an opportunity to serve some decent craft beer. The staff were really friendly and overall I enjoyed my visit.

The restaurant is very very dirty, dirty glass,toilets are a total mess ,no soap , blocked sink … all these not in a busy day, only 3-4 people in the restaurant…. Why??…!

expected something different, like a gourmet burger. Menu is very limited, bog standard pub burger. there's no drive to want to pull people in that differentiates itself to other places. Portions are small, toppings are minimal. Service is good, food uniqueness lets it down. But when it's £9-10/burger (excluding sides) it's probably on par

Simon dealt with our first trip to Birmingham as a married couple, my husband had a beef burger and I had a couple san Miguel and we loved the whole experience.
