Gourmet Burger Joint in Milton Keynes

Ordered from hefe 3 times already. On the lasr time an item was missing of my order. Upon calling them up for it they were aware of and sent it straight away. The food was also delicious.

I love their food so much..and the they keep their cooking space very neat.

Lovely food. Fed a family of 5 for under £35. Can't grumble about that. Highly recommended

Have ordered from here for home delivery several times and it has been consistent and delicious every time. Burgers are a good size, you can add comments to the item via the website to remove the bits you don't want. Says its a brioche bun but its not sweet, which is my preference. Chips come in a nice big portion - unless you order as a meal, then its a smaller one. The maple sweet potato fries look soggy but were tasty, crunchy, but too sweet for me. I now get plain fries and a pot of cheese sauce (if you order the cheesy fries they get soggy in delivery). I wasn't taken with the chicken wings. The kebab meat is tasty but the real winner is the chilli sauce you get on it. I've not tried the hot dog yet. That's next on my hit list.

We’ve ordered from Gourmet Burger Joint several times now and each time we know it’s gonna be great. The burgers are always fresh and hefty. They get some lovely browning on the meat, no grey patties round here! I have resolved to remove lettuce from my burger because it’s consistently delivered soggy. Only due to how piping on the burgers are when they arrive. Not the restaurants fault at all! The chips are also crispy and fresh, and I love that they have started sending them in boxes with steam holes in. The wings are perfect every time. Nice white bones and the meat slides off. They’re also a normal size! I get pretty gagged out by wings the size of legs that are clearly GMO. The popcorn chicken pieces are great for kids, tasty, juicy and can be popped in the mouth whole - minimising mess! Sadly forgot to order a cheesecake last time because I’ve also recently discovered that they’re very yummy too!

First of all very dirty place Ordered donner meat which was not fresh at all They dressed it well with salad and sauces but that couldn’t change the taste Very disappointing experience Im shocked with people’s taste who have given 5 stars

The "Gourmet" hotdog was genuinely one of the worst things I've ever paid for with a takeaway. £6.50 for a burnt sausage and pathetic bun that tasted absolutely awful. The photo tells you everything. Doner kebab was pretty good but everything else quite disappointing.

This is the first time we’ve used Gourmet Burger and will not be the last. Burgers were very taste and very hot and so was the rest of the meal considering we will in village on outskirts Newport pagnell this was great. Will defo be using them again .

Poor experience, burgers were average at best and the food was 45 mins late. Not impressed. Mac & cheese bites and wings saved this from being a terrible meal.

ordered beef hot dog got a chicken one. Was not to my taste. Chips were a bit soggy and not salted. Milkshake was nice. Onion rings were okay but also not crispy.

For the price, this is one of the best spots in mk. The food is delicious and fairly affordable at that. Front of house is a bit cramped, however the owners and staff are lovely. One of my go to food spots in mk. Never disappointed.

The burgers are good for there price point and you can get a good deal online with collection. I collected and the guy who was working seemed abit rude and dismissive. But apart from that decent burgers

Today we had a super delicious lunch ever I had we were 8 guys from London come to Milton Keynes and we had sooo nice meal the food was super delicious and shakes was super sweet and fresh although thanks for a nice customer service

We’ve ordered delivery twice recently. The food has arrived as ordered with no issues. The portion sizes are good and menu is well priced. The burgers are a new favourite in our household, will defo order again.

Tasty but not.mind blowing, but the place is quite sterile and lacking any real interest.. A stop an eat place rather than a destination i felt.

Excellent burgers with tender and juicy meat. Ordered Maison Mac (beef) , classic bird, and classic chicken wings with fries. Every item was fresh and tasty. Loved entry bite. All halal. There’s not enough space for family seating. Parking available.

Where to start. Best doner meat I’ve ever tasted and I can actually get two decent sized kebabs for less than £20 😅 The burgers are stupidly nice! Like 5 guys but loads cheaper. Taste 10/10 Portion size 9/10 Price 9/10 Delivery time 6/10

⭐⭐⭐ I opted for Starship delivery, and kudos to the swift delivery; changes to my order were seamlessly handled. The fries were a delight—well-cooked and seasoned, but the portion fell short of the picture's promise. The standard burger arrived in a decent 24 minutes; however, its taste was middling, though the pricing was fair. Disappointingly, the brioche bun mentioned was absent. In summary, it's okay; not a must-try, but if hunger strikes in the area, it could suffice. Check the attached photos for a visual tour of my experience. 🍔🍟

While I have only ordered from this joint, I can completely attest for their quality of food. Its the best I have come across in the MK and Bedford region - some of the best seasoned fries I have had along with brilliant burgers.

Food is usually great. Thid time though not very good. Fries were soggy and cold. Milk shakes were runny and warm. Burger bungs were soggy and fell apart

Burger is dry and overcooked chips, cold soggy. Wings had nice flavouring, but were overcooked underneath

Will never order from here again. Keep getting the order wrong and then when my wife phones to complain and follow up on food that we haven't received but have paid for they ghost her. As soon as I call from a different number they answer immediately. I then have to wait for the manager to call me who, conveniently, isn't working this evening. More fool us for ordering from them again. Absolute jokers.

Proper friendly staff and I even called them 10 mins before closing last night and they were still happy to take my order! Food always comes piping hot and is always very tasty. They do a deal that you can order through the website or on the phone ( or get it in house ) where for £14.99 you can get: 2 of almost any burger on the menu , a portion of chicken wings ( with a sauce or glaze of your choosing ), 2 cans of drink and a portion of seasoned chips; perfect for sharing with your friends or family. Get yourself down there , lovely little joint! 👍

New to the area so first time ordering for take out. Pleasant staff patient and nice. The meal deals are great value I ordered the Cali Cali burger which I so loved 😍 fries are great quality and tasty. I picked the buffola wings was not to keen on the sauce little thick for me will try another next time as a new customer. Service was great would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks guys :)

Chicken burger was missing the extra hash brown we paid for. Chilli cheese bites were over cooked and tasted kind of burnt. Chips were cold

‘Gourmet’ burger joint, name doesn’t do justice. No toasted bun, lettuce was not fresh and ruined the flavour of the meal. Bacon bits also not fresh, instead they were clearly pre-cooked and weren’t crunchy. I spent £35 and could’ve had a better experience at McDonalds. Also the range of burgers are poor and same with drinks sides etc. to add to this packaging was terrible tin foil yes retains heat however bun was soggy and wet after collection and a 3 minute drive.

Duvet day with my son. Portion size was small but luckily we have small appetites. Lots of flavours very taste. Would order again c

Didn't get cheese cake as I wanted, didn't get dr pepper as I wanted, all I got told on the phone was they will give me 2 free drinks next time I order, but I don't even know if that's true, also got told I can apply for 10% discount on website but shouldn't it have discount on just eat? I'm so confused

Burger soggy bun, was not brioche as advertised salad was not fresh at all. Milkshake was not sweet which is surprising when you have Ferraro in it seems they tried to cut corners by adding yoghurt instead of ice cream - overall not good. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Mouth guzzling joy from the first bite of the burger, I saved the burger for last I don't regret, full tummy and still ice cream left worth the money

We got the cheeseburger, and it was what I would expect of a really good cheeseburger. It's not fancy, but it was big. The bun was simple and tasty, cheese was perfectly melted, and they were still quite hot on arrival. The seasoned fries were also delicious, and I think everything is really reasonably priced. It did take a long time, though. The order was confirmed at 5:30 with a delivery time between 6:20 and 6:40, but it didn't arrive until 6:50. The app also doesn't give you updates, so at 6:30, it still just showed that the order was confirmed. With that said, I would order from here again and just order earlier next time.

Been here twice now and both times the food was banging. First time had the Slaw Burger and second time went for the Cheesy Cheetos Chicken Burger which was incredible, lots of cheese sauce tasty meaty chicken, good amount of salad (a little messy, but to be expected) we had the loaded fries to go with it which were also decent, lots of cheese sauce and bacon and a good amount of seasoning including pepper. Prices are very reasonable and food is top notch. Thanks 👍

I used to absolutely love this place and I was so shocked that we had such a great place so close and so reasonably priced. However (after i asked about it) they’ve got a new manager who has reduced the quality of the burgers (for example, cheap tesco style burger buns instead of the brioche buns), and have also increased the prices by at least £1 per product, and sloppily at that; just slapping on a 7 over the 6.99 poster. It’s just really disappointing as I met the first owner around 1 or 2 years ago and he seemed super passionate about the restaurant and the food was impeccable. I just hope that the current manager will take tips from the past, and increase the quality back to where it was and keep the prices as they are (or even increase if it means a sustained increase in quality). It’s honestly just really disappointing to see and ruins the image of newport pagnell’s restaurants if one of our previous bests has devolved into a not-so-cheap, mediocre rip-off. And to make it worse, they still use the photos of their previous standard of burger on their website, so if you order online - you’re also catfished! So not only are you receiving overpriced low-quality food, it also looks bad in comparison to the websites image. I know this is harsh but I know the potential gormet has and it’s sad to see such a great place go downhill. hoping to see improvements. However the food like the wings (slightly over priced) is great though!

Hi, we have just returned back up to Lancaster after spending a few nights in Newport Pagnel visiting family. We saw the Gourmet Burger whilst looking around for somewhere to eat after being out all day & being tired & hungry bought 2 meal deals to take back to our hotel room . These were the BEST burgers we have ever eaten🥳!! Especially the quality of the beef, the sauce was also delicious & the bun was great tasting & held up right to the last mouthful❤️❤️the 2 young gentlemen were lovely who were working that evening (18/06/2023) can't praise everything enough. Will be going down again in a few weeks & will be having all our evening meals from there. Lovely to go in somewhere where they are actually pleased to see you, well done lads👍🥰🙏xx
