Gourmet 4 Hagley Road in Birmingham

Visited this evening. Visiting the area and was looking for some water to eat and walked past. Service was excellent, waitress was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, and I had probably had the best Sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Very reasonable. Would definitely visit again.

Service is very slow to order. Waited 45 minutes for the starter which was 3 squid and 12 chicken wings. As soon as the starts come with in 4 minutes she brought the mains. Food is poor very poor. 2 burgers and a pizza. Burger was very dry and more like hubba bubba gum. Finished the worst burgers we have ever had, still waiting for the fries to turn. One lot of fries came instead of 2 and they was the wrong ones
