Goulash in Bath and North East Somerset

We ordered beef, but apparently it was not available, so it was replaced by chicken without asking if it was ok. The "pita" was actually 4 small buns. The sides were pretty poor.

These greasy 3 star food standards agency hygiene rated lads have like 20 different separate listings for this one restaurant on Uber eats, seems a little sketchy that they're deliberately being disingenuous in order to get more money from unwitting people by deliberately saturating the Uber eats restaurant list with their Uber garbage food. It's also the most mid food in Bath. Pack it in boys 👍

Terrible food, purchased from you on uber eat and wasted £35 for two burgers and wings, the chicken was overcooked and when I tried finding you online (you're listed as hot chick saucy fried chicken on ubereats) I couldn't find you. It was only through the address I found out that hot chick saucy fried chicken was the same as ghoulash. Overcooked food, food doesn't look like pictures, and you're taking advantage of new customers. I tried ringing but you didnt answer. Hope people read my review and think twice before ordering.

Whilst the food was actually quite good, the portion size is very disappointing. £3 for a spoonful of coleslaw is ridiculous, even if it is good coleslaw. Wraps ( beef goulash, and mushroom/halloumi) were tasty but not enough food for the price. Good service, fast delivery.

Goulash was cold and beef was crispy

It was cold when it arrived. The driver said he’d had the wrong address. I checked my order which showed the correct address.

Only one issue it says add cheese so I don't tick the box and it comes with ..cheese.

I gave this 5stars as usually it’s good….. however this time I think you made a mistake, I ordered chicken goulash but I received veg goulash (it was mostly carrot) with no chicken.

Hardly any meat and when it eventually turned up was cold, I get this every week and has always been amazing

Not even remotely close to what I ordered, I ordered chicken wrap, mushrooms and fries, I got chicken wrap, fries, sweet potato fries and halloumi?

Really delicious food :) vegetarian options and authentic flavours, great prices. Highly recommend.

Delicious vegan food and really good curly fries. I had the mexican vegan bowl with curly fries. Lots of vegan options ...next time I'm going to try rice buns. Good portions but I forgot to take pictures as I was so hungry. Really helpful and attentive staff. I'm definitely going back for more!

Ordered beef goulash with mash and hallumi fries. Goulash was delicious, food arrived hot and pickles with sour cream just made it perfect. Will definitely order again!

The food was inedible. The beef was so burnt it was hard, when I bit into it, it felt like concrete. The panini was falling apart. Just a massive waste of money.

I went here because the meat was free-range / organic. Everything was delicious and tasted very fresh. Reasonably priced as well and all the packaging was eco-friendly ☺️

Very lean goulash, not much meat in it, a little dissapointed about taste too after reading good reviews just before coming. Two wraps for an adult to feel full, so expensive for what you get.

I had the vegetarian goulash with mash. Took a long time to get served and the goulash was okay. I’m not sure I’d go back but it was nice enough when I needed something quick.

Honestly the freshest most tasty food I've had delivered to my door, can't imagine how fresh it is in person, huge respect, please spend your money here, I was very ill and this was so hearty and veggie and gorgous.

Had a lovely vegetable goulash pitta for a little over a fiver and filled me right up. Would happily eat there again anytime

Outstanding food, quickly delivered and very tasty! Prices are ok for local standards and you can’t go wrong with any of their meals. The atmosphere is good, particularly on a warm evening.

Disappointed. 70% rice, 30% goulash. And in the goulash itself there were only 4 small pieces of meat. It's a shame. I did go there specifically as I like a good goulash, but this was far from it.

Ordered online using the website which was quick and easy. Food was ready when I arrived on my lunchbreak 10 minutes later. Portions weren't particularly big but the food was delicious !

Fantastic. Ordered direct for collection from the website (selected to pay cash so owner wouldn’t suffer any bank/handling fees) and was ready in the 15 minutes as advertised on their website. Order a selection of food; a beef main with salad, a beef main with rice, a chicken main with mash and cheese, beef bap, and selection of 3 of their hirata buns. More than enough for the 2 children, wife and I + some spare for breakfast this morning! All of the food was amazing, fresh and tasty, but the main with cheese and mash, and the hirata bun selection were marginally our favourites. Was packaged in recyclable cardboard containers + foil, which kept hot when we ate 15 minutes after pickup. Owner was extremely friendly, chatty and a nice guy + was calling me as I pulled up to let me know everything was ready as didn’t want it to get cold. Really good alternative to the “traditional” Chinese/Indian Saturday night treat (and healthier too). (P.S. We live in Bathford hence me collecting as deliveroo/justeat don’t cover our area)

Goulash without the beef. Lots of mash, lots of sauce and no meat. Nice idea executed badly, no consistency.

Such an amazing experience! The food was excellent - the goulash was the best I’ve ever had! Set in such a lovely location (Green Park Station, Bath) too. The service was great and I’ll definitely be back!

Generally OK... For me, this dish (beef goulash as a burger) could have been seasoned with one more star, the service was okay, maybe the waiting time was a bit long, but overall it was pleasant.

Delicious food Perfect portion. I ordered hiratas with chicken goulash and it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked along with the vegetables. The staff is very friendly and professional. ☺️

Disappointing ........have never used them before but wanted to gve them a try. Was taking gov seriously re social distancing and therefore asked for delivery to second floor but to knock on flat door., no contact. Waited a long time for order to be confirmed but it was declined, no reason given. Sorry guys , don't know if I will ever be in the mood again to try your fusion 😣

Great place good quality offerdable price

OMG! Yesterday I had the best soup ever, plus the naan - mind blowing! Always going there when visiting Bath. The food so hearty, filling, delicious and healthy too. Atmosphere is super cosy as well, the team is a bunch of sweat hearts :) Absolutely recommend!

Great little street food outlet, mega portions! Great tasting, worth the wait.

Googled healthy takeaway food and liked the look of the Good Egg, so gave it a try. Spoke to the owner and asked for a well balanced meal containing protein, carbs and greens. He recommended a chicken box with chilli beans and mixed greens with a few chopped new potatoes with red cabbage on the side then topped with coriander leaves and a home made salsa sauce. Good portion size and great flavours also came with a small bottle of water for £7.50. Very satisfied with the flavours and portion size, great value. Give it a try 👍 Darren Graham

I've walked past it about 100 times and only went to it one evening when the queue for the pizza place was too big. But im sold now, and am sure I will become a regular. The guy I spoke to was incredibly knowledgeable of the ingredients in his food. The burger I had was absoloutly divine. An unsung hero of the bath food scene. With incredible service (and a free bottle of water with the drink). It's a shame I didn't know about the good egg before!
