I’ve only been here once and I am never returning, the people who eat here are mainly overweight pensioners on mobility scooters and smokers and the smell is disgusting and this place is tiny and I’m surprised that it’s still open today. The dessert was actually nice but I came here for a lovely traditional British breakfast and they gave me it... but it wasn’t lovely or traditional as the meat looked cheap and after I ate here I had a bad stomach and had to go to MY toilet because there wasn’t a toilet available, thank god my flat was across the road. I am more than happy to say I will never ever in my life be returning to this dump hole.

Called in for breakfast whilst shopping in Neath. Not too busy but staff unable to cope. People coming from kitchen to serve but the concept of queues are alien to them. Serving people from back of queue and not being able to take cash for food. An absolute shambles. We have called in many times in the past but never again.

I stopped here for brekkie in the week. This place looks rough and ready, with lino-type tablecloths and a broken front door that was letting in a chilly wind if someone didn't see the sign requesting a nudge shut. However, this place is always bustling and seems to do brisk trade with the locals. It also possesses the all important 5 FSA Wales rating. I ordered a large brekkie with a cuppa, and it was easy to swap an item or two as I requested fried bread instead of toast. I arrived, piping hot...and disappeared rather quickly too. I'll definitely visit again soon.

This is a little gem of a café with all home made food. The prices are very reasonable and the food is to die for. I had cheese and potato pie that was probably the best I have ever had other than the wife's . The wife had homemade corned beef pie and that was very good. the café is family run and nothing is to much for the staff.

Their hot dinners are to die for and if you're an O.A.P. You can get one for £3.80. Beautifully cooked and piping hot. Quick friendly service in a clean and pleasant no frills environment. All their pies and puddings are made locally and are absolutely delicious. Very generous portions. Lovely staff. You have to try their steak pie and corned beef pie, oh, and their apple crumble, need I go on.

Booked an apartment here for 5 people. (the apartment was advertised as suitable for 6) Dirty, damp, no table and chairs in the kitchen, a 2-seater sofa and a small coffee table in the sitting room, (for 5 people!) and we didn’t stay at all and booked into a hotel. Phoned KG and were assured we’d get a refund, and it would be confirmed by email. No email. Back and forth with KG and Booking.com with both trying to shrug responsibility. Eventually had to do a chargeback via credit card. The ‘Hotel’ isn’t a hotel by the way. It’s a derelict building. Empty. Rubbish piled up inside. Very unwelcoming.

Great friendly no nonsense atmosphere. You could easily sit here all day scrolling, or doing work on your laptop. Staff are friendly and helpful and will leave you alone as good as chat to you. It's the sort of place where everyone feels part of the community and you could find yourself chatting with total strangers about a load of different subjects. It attracts young and old and people from all walks of life. Local business that is hitting the right spot in the heart of the community. Great little place. Definitely better than Cafe FortySix as its main competitor. Coffee is also local as well as some other brands which are spot on. Wide selection of pastries/cakes as well as wraps and bagels. Crisps and drinks are also good too. Dog friendly also which is nice. Looking forward to spending more time here.
