Came across this place by accident while out walking in the area..What a find as quality & variation is huge!!! Beacon egg cobs to hot sausage rolls & pie's. Sweets tea coffee among many other drinks. Best of all fantastic prices so much cheaper than anywhere in the area!!! everything piping hot!! If only Chatsworth Christmas Market could follow suit as every cob & sandwich is 🧈 buttered as it should be unlike other places mentioned 😉 Would definitely return to this place that sets standards for 99% of cafes & so called upmarket food stalls!!!

What a welcome sight after a long walk! The owners are very friendly and chatty. I had a delicious cheese salad barm, and my partner had Yorkshire Pasty and Sausage roll. The little map of the Walk is a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks, and look forward to visiting again.

Lovely little stop with fresh food, ice creams and drinks. As it is such a popular spot and the first place we’d seen for ages I expected the prices to be high but it was actually cheaper than any of the cafes in town and the food was lovely!

Wow what a welcome sight it was to see this catering stand at the end of the long walk over malham cove just before going to goredale scar and Janets foss. A good selection of hot food and drinks - locally sourced burgers, sausages, bacon all cooked perfectly and served in fresh soft bread buns. Hot and cold drinks, cake, ice creams and chocolate available. Couldn’t have been located in a better place. Sausage and egg sandwich was absolutely delicious!

A very impressive little business - the ham and salad sandwiches were excellent lunches for our walk, good quality ham and generous portions. The bacon sandwiches were delicious, up to farm shop standards and the prices were not extortionate as you might expect in such a popular spot. We kept coming back for more.

Visited on Sunday 16th May 2021 On our return journey from Gordale Scar back to Malham via Janet's Foss Waterfall. The refreshment stall was parked in a dedicated layby as you cross the cross between both features. Nice range of food and drink as well as local guides. No seating when we went (Maybe Covid related) but there was a convenient wall to sit and finish your ice cream. Say this on the Julia Bradbury TV show too.

Thank you so much for being open during these times and providing such quality food! 10/10 for safety measures too and the two ladies that were working there are just pure gems :) My partner and I both had a roast beef sandwich with onions and gravy, in the middle of no where at the bottom of Gordale Scar on a beautiful day. Couldn't ask for anything better so thanks so much for providing for all of us hungry walkers and cyclists! Hope you're there every time we come for a visit because you're amazing. Thanks again!

After a trek up the cove, came across this burger van on route to Gordale Scar. Had no cash or card as wasn’t expecting a refreshment service along the way. The kind lady was very accommodating and let us bacs payment across (which took a while due to signal) the food was amazing, homemade soup and chunky gammon ham salad sandwich, very fresh and tasty. Really welcoming, clean burger van. Highly recommend. If the lady that served us today gets to read this. Thank you :)

This si top quality snack van run by local B and B owner carol. The food is top quality and reasonably priced and l'd recommend the egg butty. We also had a (decaf) coffee and tea before we headed up to Gordale Gorge. Highly recommended for a rest as there is plenty of seating or just some nice food in a really nice spot.

After a nice wander from Malham Cove we came across the Gordale Refreshments van and what a welcome find it was. Carol is one of life's absolute diamonds and everything she sells from the van is fresh, mainly home made and most certainly served with great pride and its the perfect wee place to stop for a bite to eat and a cup of tea

Expertly placed to entice the many walkers passing by, Gordale Refreshments will make sandwiches to order, as well as providing a number of snacks and drinks. As a regular visit to this part of the world over the years the little truck that the very pleasant attendants serve out of seems to have been here as long as the Scar itself. There's ample seating provided roundabout, and the sandwiches are pretty good. Drinks, ice-creams and confectionery are also available.I would happily call upon Gordale Refreshments again were I in the market for a no-nonsense sandwich.

Situated in a lay-by at the bottom of Gordale Scar. This was a very welcoming site after our very long walk around Malham Cove, Malham Tarn and Gordale Scar. Coffee was hot and refreshing and we also purchased a warm pork sandwich, a hotdog and some ice creams. Seats were available and the scenery was relaxing. Good value and lovely food

Have been coming to Malham since I was a child and now children of my own. This refreshment van is in a perfect location, between Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss. There are several walks that cross here, and this is ideally located as a stop on any of those walks. There are chairs set out on the stone bridge over the beck. Serves snacks, drinks (hot and cold) and ice creams. Was open well after 5 when we were there on a Sunday.

Recently had a brilliant stay at Crina Bottom B&B at the foot of Ingleborough (one of the 3 peaks). It is entirely off-grid but the owners have done a terrific job in making the property comfortable, clean and very attractive. The bedrooms have been furbished to a high standard and you are guaranteed a sound sleep. The en-suites are large and are like those found in a good 5 star hotel. The chef produces great breakfasts which are substantial enough to set you up for the day ahead. I would thoroughly recommend this superb B&B

This place is in a beautiful location. After a hard day cycling, we we had run out of water and food. Although the tea-room was closed we asked if our water bottles could be topped up. The lady who owns the place was busy but she could not have been more kind and helpful. She brought us delicious home-made chocolate cake and filter coffee and stayed for a chat. Absolutely amazing customer service and saved us that day! Thank you!

First stop on the way out of Hubberholme when walking. 3 of us had the cream tea; wonderful home made scones with home made jam & lashings of cream- scrumptious Scar House Tea Garden highly recommended.

Any time this place is open, do take the chance to pop in for a drink, snack or meal....a very friendly place with a good choice (including vegetarian) on the menu; the family team are happy to speedily prepare and serve just what you order in a quirky, well presented small cafe. Excellent value, quality food!

What a lovely quirky cafe. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. We had hot chocolate and scones with jam and cream and both the drink and scones were delicious. Best hot chocolate drink we have tasted and in a nice large cup too. There was lots of cakes to choose from and they all looked delicious. We will definitely return for lunch as the menu was very appetising.
