Goodfather Pizza in Salford

I called in here this evening but i didnt like the vibes. The name of the business seems to be Goodfathers but on the menu and inside its referred to as Godfathers? Anyway, it looked like a chaotic mess inside with three unhappy and unkempt guys talking at each other quite loudly. Lets just say that personal hygiene doesnt seem to rate as a number one priority for these guys. As i was reading the menu, of them kept asking what i wanted and i had to keep saying, give me a minute as i need to read it!! I decided in the end not to order based on a number of factors including the attitute of staff, how staff presented in terms of personal hygiene, prices and the chaos i witnessed behind the counter. There must have been a million empty pizza boxes behind the counter!! 🤣🤣

Popped in this evening for food whilst working round the corner, 2 donner in naans with chips and drink for £17. Service was great, really friendly people. Portions were massive, really tasty. Kebabs were not greasy, salad was fresh, chips were great. Really good food

Gave me a beef burger ??????????? Asked for chicken. Fumin. Was good tho.

Food was cold as. Meatballs were not cooked properly belly hurts now. Had to reheat everything in the oven. Terrible.

Ordered 3 meals 2 donor nan kebabs with chips and a drink and chicken burger and chips got to the hotel we t for sit down have our food no chips bill was £25.10 as well this was 20 minutes ago the guy behind the counter too busy taking everyone's money than making sure the orders were right

I've been to many Takeaways around the UK. This one has the best Donner meat I've ever tasted. Now every time I'm around Salford I go and have some Donner meat.

I have avoided donner for last 3-4 years as it upsets my stomach Last night I had a real craving, I had it for a whole week, so I went here got myself donner and chips, tasted amazing and I can say this morning my stomach was absolutely fine Great staff too, I like these guys

Absolute discgrace, just got my son a gift at Uni for some food and these people leave out the Ben and Jerry's which was 5.50 . Literally dont even bring it. Constantly engaged when you try to call. Have put in a refund request via JustEat as this is a total disgrace. The most expensive item which they conveniently dont' deliver.

I ordered on the phone. When I went in to collect it, they didn't seem to know anything about it. No biggy because they sorted my order out and I was on my way.

Absolutely top tier kebabs Pizzas are fantastic But god damn, when they say the hot sauce is hot, take that on board There’s a “hot sauce” then there’s the real stuff that will ruin your night if you’re not ready Big fan, love this place

Forgot to make our order and then spent 5 minutes arguing whose fault it was rather than just making it, and the pizza was horrible

Love this place. Really tasty pizzas, kebabs, donner, salads etc. Normally go for the pizza, but opted for the chicken kebab- chicken was lovely and moist, great amount of salad. Had the lemon sauce and chilli sauce; really nice. Friend had donner meat and chips- equally tasty. Great portion sizes. Nice staff and good value for money.

Great takeaway! Solid food, always hot on delivery. Excellent and quick delivery, even at peak times. Food is reasonably priced. Only down side is it could do with a few extra options which it's direct competitors offer. However, a solid choice for the area.

this is honestly the second worst place i’ve been too…they had no other sauce than bbq,the naan bread was like pitta bread probably thinner…i asked for no bbq sauce i got loads of bbq sauce wanted to cry atp only gave one star because of how quick it was but honestly AVOID

Complete scam. They have themselves under both godfather and goodfather. If you order on the website (with the correct address and email) as on deliveroo or google then you get ripped off and your food never arrives. Both logos exist so company clearly have done this on purpose, and yell abuse at you on the phone when you ask about the order.

Ordered 2 kebab & chips instore. The kebab meat was very pale and on one taste I had to literally spit it out on to some tissue. The chilli sauce tasted of nothing and the yoghurt sauce was gritty / chalky. Attitude of the men was a loud and arrogant just ordering from them which was strange if they want repeated custom. Honestly stay at home and eat beans on toast than this. I can’t understand why places like this can’t just serve good hot cooked food where customers would gladly come back!!!

Absolutely appalled by the service we got - or actually ended up not getting - tonight. We've ordered through Deliveroo, like we've had many times before with no issues. The driver never delivered the order, so we've contacted Deliveroo and they've rearranged for a new order to be prepared and sent out to us. We waited for a further hour, the preparation time kept updating so we called the restaurant, where we were shouted at by the manager that the order has been sent out and they won't make another order?! They have then hung up the phone without giving us any chance to respond and have not picked the phone the next 15 times we tried to call them. When they finally did they had the nerve to ask "If you live nearby why do you even order?????" and hung up again. We will never ever again order from that place as their customer service is non-existing and manager was rude.

It was absolutely delicious and filling!!i got one of their meal deals: Deal 1. That comes with a pizza, fries and garlic bread(these two can be swapped for other options). I enjoyed my meal, I got pepperoni, spicy beef and jalapeños on my pizza. This combo bangs!!try it!

Abrupt and rude just because they were busy. Was told that I was too slow to decide what sauce I wanted when it literally took 10 seconds. Don’t bother.

Total joke of a company. Took order via Just Eat and 45 minutes later received a text message to say it would be delayed 30 minutes as they were "busier than usual".30 minutes pass and another msg this time cancelling the entire order. No reason except they just can't fulfil it. I called the shop and the reason changed to an RTA involving the delivery driver, utter dross and pretty despicable.

So inexpensive and very decent take away grub. Friendly guys too.

Use this place once a week for delivery. Ring them direct. Lovely guys. Always on time or early and more than happy to customise your order. I always ask them to be generous with the anchovies and I usually get given a free pot of jalapenos or garlic dip. Meal deal 1 is great and does me for two days. Plus they are open late which suits me as I work odd shifts. Great local takeaway and a warning that the chocolate fudge cake is huge! 🤭

Just been and bought 2 pizzas. I have to say they were the nicest tasting pizzas around for miles!! Chap behind the counter was very friendly and had a good chat and joke with us. Will definitely return.

Had the chicken wings here many, many times before And went in specially for them, went today, different recipe, different cooking method, wings looked like the bird had been battered to death. Could not eat them! Such a shame. I will happily come back if you get the old chicken wings

The food arrived late first of all and when I took a bite Into the pizza, the tomato puree was pouring out and not cooked properly at all. The wings were straight disaster. I would not recommend this place at all the worst place to order food from. The order has items missing such as drinks and burgers and the driver refused to come to entrance to deliver the food and sat in his car. The worst experience I have ever had with a takeaway

These Guys are great. Excellent food and service either delivery or collection. I avoid ordering via Just Eat and ring direct.. Grab something once every couple of weeks

Nice pizza, but I was WAY overcharged, and if I'm honest feel a bit ripped off. I asked for a half and half 18", which is a pretty standard request in the pizza world - everybody does it. Both pizzas are priced on the menu as the same cost, and my order was taken and I was told the delivery guy would be with us a half hour or so later. When the delivery guy arrived I was charged almost £7 extra for my pizza, and when I called them to query this I was told it was because I was charged for each of the "additional toppings" that went on the other half of the half n' half pizza - what? really? This probably should have been mentioned when I asked for a half and half pizza on the phone; in fact scrap that, you are making fresh pizza using half the ingredients from one pizza and half the ingredients from another pizza, combining them into one pizza Yup, nice pizza, but ripped off

I rang prior to ordering and specifically asked if the ham they use is real ham. I was assured that it was. It isn't! Most definitely NOT real ham. The closest comparison I would say is that it is diced SPAM. Not nice.

Chicken was offffff no refund bad service be carfull with the chicken s..t the staff who spoke to me was arguementel he didnt even offer me another meal which was wrong i go thwr everyweek and u take passengers thee not anymore u need to check ur chicken before u serve it

RIP OFF They charged me Donner kebab and chips £8.10 When its advertised £3.80 for donner kebab and £1.50. I did say that you are charging me to much. Never going back there again Ma Yeheh
