Just had a very tasty takeaway from Good View. The sweet & sour chicken & chicken with pineapple & ginger were very fresh tasting & delicious. Very easy to order online & delivery was good...5 minutes ahead of time in fact. We'll definitely use again.

We ordered our normal chinese takaway tonight to be extremely disappointed, we were told half an hour but was nearly an hour which i wasnt to bothered after working in a chinese takaway myself for 8 years ikno times can be decieving. The chicken balls were great as always, chips were cold and rice was ok. Beef was was discusting, the beef was slimy and the curry sauce tasted like oil, i physically couldnt eat it i was just gagging so opened my pancake roll as i always save best till last!, wow iknow its cookednit the fryer but should have been drained half the foil tub was full of oil, not to mention it tasted like chemicals, i feel the sides may have been cleaned with whatever they use and then placed on it. Overall im gutted we loved this chinese but its defo put me of now... was nice knowing you good view. Chow.

This place used to be really good just lately very poor unrealistic delivery times... Pay good money with 5 pound tip just to get noodles for a singapore chowmein wont be ordering again and this is after 5 years of ordering here taking the pi... S ruined night thanks

We had 1 chicken & 1 beef Satay with side orders. Delivery was very quick. This has to be one of the finest takeaways we have ever had. Thank you for your hard work, your doing a fantastic job.

We ordered a lot of food for delivery while working on our boat at Stafford boat club. 3 x pancake rolls 1 x banana fritter 2 x chicken chow mein I x sweet and sour sauce Chicken in Cantonese sauce 1 x chicken curry with chips I x boiled rice 1 x salt and pepper squid. Most of the meals were top class. Below par was the squid and the chips. Excellent delivery and service. Overall a good Chinese takeaway. We would definitely use this place again.

Great main course fantastic food banana frita and pineapple frita no syrup and dry but put right in 20 mins with a replacement thank you

We live nearby Goodview and hadn’t tried it in a while. Wow, I was really pleasantly surprised - it was delicious! Really fresh, piping hot (we collected), super tasty food. I never normally write reviews, but felt like I wanted to leave one to complement the food we had. We had satay skewers and salt & pepper wings to start, which were really tasty. The Kung Po chicken main was tasty and spicy. We will be using Goodview again. The only thing I would say is that they aren’t on delivery sites like Uber eats etc and seemed to only take cash? This seemed a bit unusual, however I’m really glad we tried it.

Nice. The only place of 2 I trust to order Chinese food from (other being Sunny House). Usually hot and tasty with plenty of flavour, good customer service, and good food hygiene score. Only downside really is that they need to start accepting card payments, we barely use cash now so a bit of an inconvenience sometimes, especially now during Covid.

It has really nice food and good vegetarian option for me not ok salty nice Chinese take away always use when come up to Alton towers also a free little bag os a fizzy drink prawn crackers when you speand over a certain amount lovely should go to

We don’t have takeaways very often, this was a treat. A disappointment unfortunately as the food was all incredibly salty. Also the chips tasted microwaved, having cost £2.70. I’ve given 2 stars as I appreciate the fresh vegetables and I had a lovely authentic meal here a year ago.

Thought we'd give this chinese a try for a change. Very disappointing. Will not be using again. Good points: - chips were nice and crispy. - Fast delivery Bad points: - only want cash on delivery, allowed me to pay by card this time but would be inconvenient in future if was to use again. - chicken fried rice; rice looks anemic, no peas, not sure if chicken was chicken... has odd texture, not nice and was really looking forward to relaxing with a chinese watching a film. Spoilt our evening - chicken in black bean sauce; way too salty, horrible sauce, couldnt eat it and again chicken odd texture, green peppers almost raw so very crunchy

Staff were really friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the spring rolls they tasted fresh and were hot. The main dish lacked flavour which was really surprising and the prawn crackers were chewy- think they were old. I’d go again and try something else in case it was just an off night before dismissing based on the other positive reviews.

The food here really is amazing, cant fault it at all. But my only bugbear is you never get free prawn crackers, even if you spend over £30 or more . I dont understand why because everyone else does it.. Anyway it really is the best chinese around the rugeley area. So please give it a try.

This must be one of the oldest Chinese takeaways in Stafford, I can't remember it not being there!! In all the years my family and I have bought meals from there, they always do a consistently high standard of really tasty food, I always end up with enough for the next day as well, so great value. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended

We ordered Take Away with Delivery , Very good service , Lovely staff and Outstanding Chinese food , i ve lived in stafford most of my life and have tried most Chinese take aways and this one is well worth a visit , fresh ingredients , good size portion's , free prawn crackers and free sauces too , cant recommend enough , we will be defentley be back again , thank you for such a lovely meal :)
