Amazing authentic food. Reasonably priced, large portions, good quality food. Great service. Staff are lovely.

I purchased a beef curry and special fried rice, and some beef noodles. The curry was more of a mild source. and I considered it expensive for what it was. It seems that it is a pre ordered source from a universal supplier as this seems to be the norm from many outlets.

Never new that the Good Luck were on Trip before . Have been a customer for many years. Always dishes cooked and prepared perfectly and full of taste. i The fast friendly service most welcomed. Friendly personal touch with all food delivered and with excellent flavour. Enjoyed the food and look forward to the next take away. Fujian fried rice, one of the chef’s special is fab, it has a mixture of meat and vegs, it taste so nice with the combination rice, ordering this dish everyweek never let me down!!

We regularly purchase a Saturday night takeaway from this place and the food is definitely the best Chinese takeaway we have ever had! Always fresh and whatever we try is delicious. The lady at front of house is so lovely and friendly too. Admittedly from the outside it doesn’t look like this place would sell quality food but don’t judge a book by its cover. The only downside is that you do have to pay cash but the nearest atm is just up the road so not a big issue.

After living close to this Chinese for months we thought it about time we ordered from here. The food is decent, the old style prawn crackers and sweet and sour sauce gave me a blast from my childhood past. No chunky crackers and glue like thick sauce. However on the bad side, this establishment doesn't deliver, doesn't take card and is closed on some week days. The food could use more ingredients with noodles being bland and not spicy. I also found the portions somewhat small, the prawn crackers came in a very small paper bag which amounted to about 3 crackers each, and given the amount of food ordered and money spent I found this very tight when they are so cheaply made. 4 stars but this place could be improved.

Nice food, friendly service and good prices. Just to note: this place is cash only though. Parking can be tough on the road it’s on but the road opposite is fine.

Went to visit my daughter and look after her son for a couple of days, decided to have a Chinese at the above(if I could give a score lower I would not hesitate)I ordered the deep fried sweet and sour king prawns with egg fried rice.lets start, whenever I have had the above the prawns are always whole with a small piece of tail sticking out,not these!they were ball shaped and on closer inspection I see half, yes half a prawn in each ball,in consequence eight balls equals four prawns not the usual eight whole prawns per portion.The batter was between a quarter to half inch thick(giving the impression of a whole prawn used) the end product was to dark so my conclusion is that they were left in the fat to long or the fat was old(I think the latter,but I maybe wrong) the egg fried rice should have been fried in red hot soya oil and stirred quickly,this was not the case,the rice was not stirred quick enough and much of the rice was brittle (by the way no egg in it so not egg fried rice)the sweet and sour sauce was not what I expected, however to be fair this is perception,I was a chef for forty years and a teacher of cookery for thirty and a worse meal(including the students efforts) I have yet to come across,I always try to be fair when I write a review, but this is the worst yet.GIVE This place a miss,it's a rip off

We love this Chinese, the service is quick, friendly and the food is delicious. So happy to have this place a couple of minutes drive away. The only snags are that they don’t accept debit/credit cards, don’t deliver and parking can be a pain.

Usual range of dishes at reasonable prices. Has gone downhill to some extent since Margaret retired, but still reliable.Parking can be a problem.

Had a chicken curry and egg fried rice. One of the best I've ever experienced. Will certainly be returning.

This is a takeaway only restaurant that is also cash only. The food itself is very fresh and tastes home cooked is probably the best way to describe it! Will go back again soon and they have very good service there. Reasonable pricing too!

First time I have been there and found the service very friendly. The food was served quickly and very hot I will definitely be going back on a regular basis.

It's been a few years since I had a takeaway from here! It's still as good as I remember. Worth a visit.

This takeaway has recently been taken over, and the quality of food has remained consistently delicious! We are fairly regular customers there, especially as we knew the old owners, so I would definitely recommend it as it's reasonably priced and absolutely lovely!

My parents have used Good Luck since I was a child and I love it now. I only order Chinese food from here, it's good, hearty Chinese food at its best!

Recent new management at the takeaway and the food is really good. New additions to the menu coming very soon. Very friendly service with options to ask for dishes you like that may not be on the menu.

This has recently been taken over and the food is excellent! We used to use this years ago and the food was sometimes a bit ropey but it's great now! Well worth a try!

Always had good tasty food and friendly service. Been using them for more years than I want to remember but never been disappointed. Shame they don't deliver though but that's only because I'm getting lazy
