Good Fortune Takeaway in Waveney

Previously they have missed items off the order, gave them the benefit of the doubt as mistakes are made by all but since then an order was over an hour late... shocking! Improvements are majorly needed. Will not buy again of them- no Chinese is worth being messed around that much!!!

Living 5 miles from Beccles we cannot get takeaways , recently found this place and tried the food which we found to be superior to many of the similar local outlets, but the best thing is they will deliver to our village, which none of the others offer, great stuff and will be using often

Absolutely disgusting food, the meat is tough and tasteless, slow delivery service, the currys are swimming in oil. The best Chinese is pearl river. Much better.

Phoned and ordered ... Within 15 mins it was Delivered to us on our boat.. Very tasty and good value.. Will definitely order again when we are in the area again..

We used to order regularly with this takeaway but don't now! why?, because I like to order online through Just Eat via Quidco as I get cashback every time I order so it was a way of getting cash back for a meal & a means of saving a few quid for Xmas!,however,for some unknown reason Good Fortune Takeaway has either OPTED OUT of Just Eat OR they were REMOVED,I don't no,so we can no longer order online from here,when I enquired about it on the phone I was told by Good Fortune Takeaway that 'we no longer do deliveries online nor do we now accept Debit/Credit cards,it is Cash Only',that's fine,their loss,not mine!,spent at least £23.00 per order,sometimes 2/3 times a week so £69.00 saved that way,maybe they had a 'dodgy' order and lost out,I guess we'll never know!

Sad to learn you have stopped the just eat service! It was so very handy & good for us as you were the only Chinese delivery service in Beccles. Here's to hoping you reconsider your withdrawal?!?

Pedimos desde aquí dos veces como un servicio de entrega y han sido feliz, incluso entregar a donde nosotros vivimos en Bungay pero £3 para la entrega de los pedidos más de £16.

I don't usually write bad reviews but honestly it took 90mins for chicken balls and rice and then it all went in the bin when it arrived the chicken balls were completely inedible burnt chicken chewing wasn't nice at all I ate the the fortune cookie and that was all.

very nice chicken curry, thick sauce, chicken pieces very clean meat, not spicy hot, onion pieces added nice flavour thank you

The takeaway was late by 40 minutes. The special fried rice had hardly any pork and the bits that were in it were fat. Otherwise very tasty.

First time I've ordered and will definitely use again. Food was lovely and the delivery time was excellent.

We have been ordering from this take away for some time, but recently have noticed a pattern whereby the orders are reaching our home far far later than the estimated time of 45 minutes. The last few times we have had to call and complain which isn't good enough. There is now another take away on just eat that delivers to our area - so Good Fortune you really need to step it up because you have competition and after our last few experiences with you I will definitely be checking out the other take away for my next order.

We ordered a large rice and got a small. Our order took nearly 2 hours to arrive and this is the second time recently that our order was delivered much later than the given time.

Solamente he estado en éste llevar una vez chino y una vez fue suficiente para mí. La zona de espera veía sucia. El recibimiento fue mano muy fría y temporada. La comida era de una calidad de estrellas, y en particular las bolas dulces y amargos de pollo se podría haber usado como pelotas de golf.

£22 order, obviously the last delivery of the night, chicken was inedible, like cardboard. Very disappointing, will not be using again.

Delivery was 20 minster early on a Saturday...all the food was very tasty, and the smells were brilliant. Pork balls were a bit hard and over cooked, but still delicious.

The food was late. The sesame prawn toast was burnt and the smoked shredded chicken was cold and rubbery. Very disappointed.

Have used this takeaway before but this is the first time ordering this way. Normally go in and order. Food was excellent as usual and the delivery service was spot on. Well done and many thanks it was lovely.

Delivery is ridiculously slow as usual, however food you can't pick a fault. Moist chicken skewers yummy yummy.

Esto es en mi opinión no sólo el mejor de la zona, pero la mejor comida china que he tenido, y eso que he probado muchos chinos diferente comida para llevar. Pruebe el menú cantonesa en el reverso del menú normal para algo más delicioso! Babi Bangen es fabulosa, así como pollo Peking, Schezhuan King gambas (agradable y caliente). (Para nombrar unos pocos). Hay aparcamiento, justo al lado de la comida para llevar, o puedes optar por la entrega rápida de casa. Fabuloso!

Best chinese we have had in a while, great quality meat ingredients and cooked very well, very very tasty.

The order was 30 minutes late, upon calling the take away they advised I could have 20% off my next order but nothing off this order. I won't be ordering again. Poor customer service.

2 hours late contacted to find out where the food was to be told the drive wont be here for another 25 minutes on the phone eagerly awaiting some kind of offer of good gesture to a stuttering apology, when it does arrive they can have what change i have in my pocket which is roughly £0.25. Avoid unless you don't mind waiting a decade.
