Good Fortune in Isle of Wight

Great food, but won't deliver to niton as its "too far away". Literally 8 miles down a straight road on a small island.

Great food did not wait long for food

We had a great meal from here, called to order and was ready when we arrived. Was on the island for a holiday, but would definitely go back

On holiday here and chose this take away as it had the best reviews. Really glad we did. Such tasty food, perfectly cooked and the meat quality was really good. 100% recommend. We had chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, chicken and green pepper in blackhead sauce and satay chicken skewers. Even the free prawn crackers were the best!

Had chicken balls with ss sayce and egg fried rice...chicken was kind of crunchy not the best quality chicken breast and not a patch on miga in wootton whete i usually go

I really love this place, one of the few chinese take aways which serve squid-only down fall portions are very small, tubs are half the size of your standard chinese tub etc

Phoned to order a takeaway as have had lovely meals in the past, to be told they only accept cash on delivery, which is no good to me as I cannot get out to get cash. Very disappointed.

We just had a take away from here and oh my word is was absolutely fantastic. My partner said best Chinese she’s ever had. It’s was amazing. Best Chinese on the island for sure. Thank you for such a lovely dinner.

Quite possibly the best Chinese takeaway in Newport, restaurant standard in your own home, lovely fresh ingredients perfectly cooked. Prompt delivery. Never going anywhere else again. 😁

i feel the food could have been better not to top quality

Food arrived almost an hour late and Luke warm, beef in mushroom gravy was stodgy and lumpy. 2 mains a rice and spring rolls cost over £22 very expensive which isn’t reflected in the quality of food

Stayed at the Parkdean Thorness Bay Holiday Park and had a Chinese delivered from here! Definitely worth it, on the cheaper side but the food was also really yummy 😀

Doesn't matter about the food if you order at 18:30 and receive it at 20:45.

After living round the corner for several years we used good fortune regularly. We have now moved 15 minutes away, tried all the new locals and still drive into Newport specifically to go to this restaurant. The food is beautiful, hot and full of flavour.
